Media Blackout on Black on White Crime Because It’s Politically Correct
We’ve all read about incidents in which young black youths got together to play the “Knockout Game” in some of the larger cities, like Chicago or Philly. The Knockout Game usually ends in injury (or in some cases, death) for the victim. The number of times this “game” has been played has been seriously downplayed by the media. They don’t want to create a situation where white people become alarmed, so they either fail to report these tragic crimes, or downplay them. If they do report them, they rarely, if ever, note that it amounts to black on white crime. Often, even the police downplay it, calling it out of control kids or bored young people. No, these are crimes because they are intentionally causing injury to other people.
Ever since “white/Hispanic” George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin, the media has had a field day. They’ve done everything they can to keep it in the news. They have even gone so far as to edit audio tapes of the 911 call as well as photographic evidence of the wounds Zimmerman sustained that evening when, during a struggle, Zimmerman pulled the trigger on his gun, firing one bullet that took the life of Martin.
Apparently, anything that has to do with Zimmerman is fair game, but just about everything to do with Martin is not. Even a recently discovered video of Martin hosting a type of “fight club” and photos of guns and marijuana. So far, the judge has said that Martin’s school records, along with his suspensions, and pot use cannot be discussed in court.
The jury will figure out whether Zimmerman acted in self-defense or whether he will be convicted of 2nd Degree murder. Either way, there will be people who will believe that justice has not taken place.
But DeAndre Felton was bored and so were the guys he was with, but never fear, he had a solution. So DeAndre and buds went on a mission to find some pure schmuck to play the Knockout Game on. In short order, they found a guy, but unfortunately for DeAndre, it turned out to be a guy who could actually defend himself. As he was being attacked by DeAndre and buddy, the victim took out his knife and used it. DeAndre died and his friend was injured. In spite of the testimony from some of the people that were there and saw that the victim was attacked by DeAndre and friend, people refused to believe it. DeAndre was a “black angel” who didn’t deserve to be cut down in the prime of life-like that. The victim was never arrested and thankfully for his sake, his name was also never released.
But while we hear a great deal about young blacks who are cut down by a white person, why doesn’t the same media that seems to love going overboard in reporting on these deaths, completely ignore things when roles are reversed? Have you heard of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom?
They were essentially carjacked, then kidnapped to a house and sadistically tortured before being killed. The perpetrators? Five blacks. Christian and Newsom? Two whites. There has been virtually no media coverage outside the area in which this terrible crime occurred. Channon Christian was killed very slowly with a plastic bag tied around her head (her hands were tied behind her back and her ankles had been tied together) after she had been tortured and raped. Her boyfriend, Chris Newsom had also been tortured and anally raped. He was then taken out to the train tracks near the house (completely naked) and shot to death.
This is what political correctness does. It focuses only on those things that are filled with emotional virtue. Trayvon Martin’s death? It is tragic that it happened. Political correctness is forced to make Martin appear to be the hero, and Zimmerman appear to be the bad guy. Why? Because under political correctness, blacks and other minorities are the “victims” and whites (especially white males) are the “oppressors.” This is also why the news media went so far as to refer to Zimmerman as a “white/Hispanic,” but now almost exclusively refers to him as a “white male.”
Channon Christian and Chris Newsom were both white. They were part of the race that Critical Race Theory (and its accompanying “white privilege”) says is the oppressor of all other races. As such, they deserve nothing. In fact, many would say that while their deaths are tragic, it’s too bad that whites have perpetrated so many things against minorities. If not for that, they argue, these two individuals might be alive today.
It’s actually the very same reasoning that liberals buy into regarding Islam vs. the rest of the world. They argue that it is because of the way the United States (as represented by the white male, since up and Obama, all presidents have been male and white) has treated these Islamic countries that we have simply gotten what we bargained for and we ourselves are to blame, not Islam. This is political correctness at its finest. It twists the truth until it is unrecognizable and expects everyone to buy it. The people who do buy it do so because it hits a nerve with them. It’s that emotional virtue that makes them believe that “justice” is finally coming around to them. In fact, it’s not justice at all, but simply some ethereal version of “equality” that comes to the fore.
If you don’t think that political correctness has shaped our society into something ridiculously asinine and perverse, then consider this: “…Paula Deen uttered the N word three decades ago, and we know what classes George Zimmerman took in college, but we know virtually nothing about the five perpetrators who brutally tortured, raped, and killed two white people.
In fact, this crime happened in 2007, plenty of time for the media to report on it, don’t you think? Interestingly enough, just recently, May 17, 2013, one of the perpetrators – George Thomas – was finally found guilty and received a life sentence with the possibility of parole. Six years after the crime, justice has ruled.
Where is Al Sharpton and all those other race-baiters? They can’t be bothered because they hate whites. Political correctness has gone a long way in destroying society. It has replaced truth with emotional virtue and no one truly wins.

About Trayvon Martin; … school records, suspension, pot, … Why did you people not put him on trial for these things before George Zimmerman killed him? That way, when Zimmerman was being tried for murdering Martin you would have been able to separate the cases.
About George Thomas; In fact, this crime happened in 2007, plenty of time for the media to report on it, don’t you think? Interestingly enough, just recently, May 17, 2013, one of the perpetrators – George Thomas – was finally found guilty and received a life sentence with the possibility of parole. Six years after the crime, justice has ruled. At least justice was served. He was convicted. This is definitely not the same in the case of Zimmerman. How unfair is that?

“You people”? Interesting…
Before Zimmerman, no one cared about Trayvon Martin, including Sharpton, Jackson, or Obama. He was an unknown. He is being used as the poster boy for gun control now. As far as I know, he had not been arrested for his dalliances with marijuana, for potential theft, or for allegedly assaulting a teacher. Being suspended is not a crime. It’s stupid, but it’s not a crime.
Regarding Zimmerman, whether you agree or not, he was being tried in the media before he was even arrested. In fact, it is clear that the media wanted so hard to show him as a racist, they went so far as to doctor photos and edit the audio. Even though they admitted inappropriately editing the 911 audio tapes, there are racists today who believe that he actually did use a racial slur and that it was edited out. Go figure. People see what they want to see and facts do not dissuade them.
You’re right, the two cases – George Thomas and George Zimmerman – are not the same. Zimmerman’s case is much closer to Roderick Scott’s case from 2009. In the end though, whether we agree with the verdicts or not, justice was served.
My point in bringing up those other cases was not necessarily to compare them with Zimmerman’s case, as you have done. My point was to show that those cases – especially the Channon Christian and Chris Newsom did not receive any real national news coverage. It was all pretty much local. Certainly, it was not dissected piece by piece as the Martin/Zimmerman case was taken apart. Yes, the perpetrators were found guilty, but the average person has no idea who George Thomas is, but everyone knows who George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin are, don’t they? That’s because the media picks and chooses.
You’re also forgetting one very important fact. All of us will face perfect justice in eternity one day, after we leave this life. There’s no escaping that.

Now, if it had been a bunch of white thugs that tortured and raped a black couple we would have seen nightly coverage on Nancy Grace’s show…
