Baphomet Statue Under Construction for Oklahoma State House

September 10, 2014 at 1:04 PM

We’ve reported on this before, but as an update, the statue of Baphomet (Satan) is well under its way to completion. Here’s the video.

As noted in the video, the statue will have a “functional” purpose. People of all ages will be encouraged to sit on the statue’s lap and gain “inspiration” from Satan as they contemplate the mysteries of the universe and life itself.

The producers of the sculpture have also said they are having a mold of the finished work made so that new statues can be produced from the mold in the event of vandalism. Who knows, but if it takes off, the same Satanic Temple in NY may order more statues to placed at various places throughout America, besides the Oklahoma State House.

We are not only seeing the growth of Islam, a religious ideology I believe to be born in the depths of hell itself, and the increasing acceptance of Satan in society, but an overall pall of evil that has begun to exert control. For a statue of Satan himself to be produced and placed near a state house where laws are made for that state is an appalling look at how far America has fallen.

My wife and I were discussing this the other day. Throughout history, it seems that God allows a society to fall to a certain point and then that society is overtaken by another society in judgment. It appears to be the natural process because of man’s innate ability to sin because of the built-in sin nature.

Left to ourselves, people (and therefore societies) go from bad to worse. There is no “evolution” toward a better society. Even science (though it wants us to believe evolution is a viable theory), knows about the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, which essentially states that things left to themselves go from order to disorder.

People do not improve without God. He is the moral absolute and the example for us. We cannot be what He wants us to be without His eternal (and internal) help. His internal help only comes to those who trust Him for salvation.

America is a country that is being profoundly attacked from within. The fact that there is a very good possibility that a statue of Baphomet is being constructed and may very well be placed in front of the Oklahoma State House is not only perplexing, but grieving. There is no excuse for it and the only reason that can be offered is that America has sunk to this point through a constant posture of pushing God away.

Romans 1:24-25 states simply, “Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.”

God gives people over to their sinful desires because of the way they constantly wanted God out of the picture. The text actually implies that God “throws them over to themselves,” not merely gives them over. It’s like the parent who, after trying everything to get or keep their child on the right path, finally says in exasperation, “Fine, do what you want!”

The coming statue of Baphomet is merely another rung on the downward ladder of despair through gross misconduct. I believe judgment has not fallen on America only because of all the Christians here, who have been praying, witnessing, evangelizing, and ultimately bringing glory to God.

In the days of Lot, only Lot and his immediate family were deemed “righteous,” yet when they fled the city, Lot’s wife looked back. She couldn’t leave her home. She was too caught up.

America has millions of Christians and while not all are living truly exemplary lives, God stays His hand of judgment because of these Christians. I hope you’re counted among them.

There will likely come a time when God’s patience will have run its course. In the meantime, we should continue to pray, witness, and evangelize. That is our calling.
