Climate Alarmists Have Nothing to Say About Glyphosate

My wife and I recently watched a documentary called “What’s with Wheat?” It’s available on Vimeo for a small rental charge or if you are Prime member on Amazon, it’s included there with no additional expense. The documentary is a few years old from 2016 and I’m not sure how I missed it, but better late than never. There are actually quite a few documentaries about food that you may wish to check into.

What’s with Wheat? seeks to answer the question about why society is experiencing a tremendous uptick in Celiac disease as well as non-celiac gluten sensitivity. Without getting into all the details, suffice it to say that their answer is twofold:

  • The pesticides used in the production of wheat (like glyphostate, the main ingredient in Round-Up(tm), and
  • The deliberate genetic change that scientists perpetrated with wheat decades ago to make it grow better and yield more

Because of the changes made to our wheat, the wheat grown today is far more resistant to disease. Moreover, the stalk of the wheat has been shortened allowing it to hold up the weight of more grain without bending the stalk. So what’s wrong with growing more wheat, one might ask? Nothing…if the wheat is unaltered, but that is not the case. The wheat we eat today is not like the ancient grains noted in Scripture. It is a genetically-modified organism (GMO), specifically designed to feed the world.

Because of the genetic changes to wheat, we grow enough wheat in the world today to feed over 11 billion people, while our total population is just short of 8 billion. So what does that mean? First, it means that there is enough wheat to feed the entire world. Second, it means in order to be able to use all or most of the wheat grown, it is put in everything, like food products and make-up products, soap products, skin care products and a host of other things.

The one major thing that the documentary pointed out is that the food produced today largely with GMO wheat is nutritionally deficient and loaded with way too many carbs. That is another downside to this altered, GMO wheat. The wheat itself as well as the gluten within the wheat has undergone a major genetic change. Because of this, many people today have gotten to a point where their bodies do not recognize the difference between what are considered good cells and bad cells and because of that, our bodies begins attacking itself.

The upshot of this is a gluten-intolerance that plagues society today, most of whom aren’t even aware of the problem. This gluten-intolerance can appear in certain symptoms with one person and completely different symptoms with another. There is no medical test to determine whether or not someone is gluten sensitive. The only way to know for certain is to decide to opt out of gluten for at least a month to see how you feel after that point.

For many people faced with this, they tend to throw up their hands in defeat even before they begin. “How can I go without bread…or pizza…or pasta…or cereal…or (fill in the blank)?” For them, it’s an impossibility because they’ve been eating wheat-based products for four, five, six, seven decades or longer and to stop even for 30 days seems a task too difficult to achieve.

The experts that were interviewed for the documentary indicate they believe that the increase in gluten-sensitivity and intolerance today shows itself in a variety of syndromes and problems.

  • ADHD/ADD
  • autism
  • heart issues
  • headaches
  • joint pain
  • fatigue
  • auto-immune disorders & inflammation
  • Celiac disease
  • Dementia
  • cancers
  • and a host of others

That list should scare you as much as the government trying to remove your 1A, 2A etc., rights because if it is true, then YOU can do something about it to keep those things from happening. A few of these experts interviewed indicated how much better their lives became when they swore off gluten-based products even if they did not have Celiac disease. One woman – who holds a doctorate and teaches at an ivy league university – stated that prior to taking her leave of gluten, she was essentially confined to a wheel chair because of the fact that her legs could not support her body yet she was not overweight.

Another expert indicated that when she finally said good-bye to gluten, within a month or so she had lost a great deal of weight, her energy had come back and she was able to think clearly.

I know I’m not doing the documentary justice in this short article, so I would encourage everyone to watch it for themselves and then, if you suffer from unexplained maladies that doctors simply prescribe medications to eradicate, try the gluten fast for 30 days. In order to accomplish this, you’ll need to seriously learn to read every label of every item you buy. Simply stopping the bread, pasta, pizza, etc., is great, but wheat is commonly used as a binder or filler in many processed foods that you wouldn’t even guess would be there. What it may require is for you to not only disengage your association with gluten/wheat, but start to go back to basics and cook your own food instead of buying processed foods that you simply slide into the oven or microwave.

My wife and I have done our best to eat organic foods whenever possible. By the way, just because it says “gluten-free” or “non-GMO” does not mean it’s also organic. If it’s organic, it is automatically “non-GMO” (though not automatically “gluten-free” either). Reading the labels are a must. Organic means non-GMO and grown without pesticides. A “non-GMO” product can still be grown with pesticides like glyphosate.

The food industry is known for its willingness to hide things from the public. Today, people are becoming more aware of “gluten-free” and what it means so you’ll even see that label on bottles of water. Duh…water is gluten-free naturally! But this is how they trick people into thinking their products are great for you so go ahead and enjoy!

Why do all the “climate alarmists” constantly cry about the “carbon” footprint that humanity is alleged to be making on good ol’ planet earth, yet I’ve not heard ONE of them condemn the use of glyphosate and other harmful pesticides on the very food we eat. Why is that? Is it because the food industry, like the pharmaceutical industry is controlled by powerful elitists? Of course it is and the same people behind those conglomerates are also the ones ginning up the fear regarding climate change and the end of the earth as we know it because of it. They’re also the same ones who want to remove or diminish our 1A, 2A and other rights guaranteed under the Constitution.

So while they have us distracted with the fight against so-called climate change and the actual attacks on our rights here in America as defined and guaranteed by the United States Constitution, both the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry are killing us, literally, with all the garbage they spray on our foods, as well as the chemicals they introduce to those foods in every attempt to make them taste good.

Recently, there were roughly 20,000 patriots who gathered together in Virginia to peacefully protest Virginia’s gun grab perpetrated by the Democrats. There were no incidents of violence. No one was hurt. Only a few people were arrested and one was because it turned out he was going there to create problems. Another was arrested because he was wearing a mask to shield his identity.

However, the very next day, the Virginia legislature continued its attack on the 2A. They simply don’t care what the “people” say or what the Constitution guarantees. They have their agenda and they are going to see it through.

But think of the fact that 20,000 patriots – many armed – gathered and not one gun accidentally shot anyone. Think about that because it is a direct blow to the fascist Left’s narrative that “guns kill.”

Yet these same people who gathered to peacefully protest Gov. Northam’s gun grab don’t put that much if any thought into deciding what to eat! As a a society, we have been brainwashed to believe that whatever the FDA or other ABC agencies tell us about our health is the gospel of nutrition. It’s not, yet few notice the problem.

Why can’t we fight for both – our rights as delineated under the Constitution and keep pushing back against Big Foods and Big Pharma? It’s actually easier to fight Big Foods/Pharma by deliberating taking charge of what goes into your mouth.

I’m convinced that highly processed foods available to us are so laden with chemicals, preservatives and fillers that they are virtually devoid of any real nutrition. Experts in the documentary above noted that the high level of food processing removes nature’s nutritional value. So what do the food companies do? They add things back into the foods. The problem is that when food is grown organically in nature, it is already chock full of vitamins and valuable nutrition in context. When food companies first destroy the natural nutritional value of the food stuffs they produce, then try to add vitamins and minerals back into it, there is absolutely no context. Moreover, the vitamins and minerals they often add back in are created in laboratories.

What will you do to become and remain as healthy as possible? Does it even concern you? When I was younger, I could eat pretty much anything and if I gained a few pounds, I’d lay off this or that for a while until my weight went back down, usually in a week or so. Then again, when I was a kid, things like High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), weren’t part of our food and drinks. Interestingly enough, fake sweeteners were “cyclamates” and they were eventually banned, but not the chemically-originated, GMO HFCS. Go figure.

It wasn’t until the 1970’s that these chemicals (GMO corn, etc.) began to be added and by the 1980’s, HFCS was regularly apart of most things that required sugar, because it was far cheaper to create from genetically modified corn than wait for raw cane sugar to grow.

Today’s “foods” are nothing compared to what existed years ago. When people farmed and hunted, they knew what they were eating. Slowly, things changed until we have a situation today that is alarming because few consider the severe consequences of the chemicals and garbage that’s in our foods.

Are you a patriot? Great and I mean that. But your “patriotism” should extend beyond calling the government out about our rights. It should also address what you put into your mouth. Only you can make that decision.
