Homeless Camps and Fascism in USA

In an interesting turn of events, Kansas City, MO city leaders are demanding that all churches turn over their lists of anyone who enters their churches. [1] Leaders want names, addresses and phone numbers, allegedly for “tracing” purposes and promise to keep the information given to them “confidential.” This is not only highly egregious, but fully unconstitutional.

Some churches are gathering together and have hired the legal firm of Liberty Counsel to defend them from this government overreach. “I am running out of adjectives to describe how completely insane the tyrannical abuses launched by state governors and local officials against pastors and churches are becoming,” Staver (from Liberty Counsel), said in a statement. “It is as if these leaders never bothered to so much as glance at the Constitution they swore to uphold and defend. They seem to be governing from some make-believe, dystopian viewpoint.”

Of course, what is truly troubling on one hand is the way the Left (the mayor of Kansas City is a Democrat as is the Governor Northam of Virginia, ), goes after churches, synagogues and conservatives, but tends to dutifully ignore those who worship in mosques. Columnist Todd Starnes refers to the attempts by the Left to gather this type of information as “Nazi-like measures.” [2]

When state or local officials determine that Christians cannot gather for worship, they are literally denying the First Amendment, yet all of them swore to uphold the Constitution when they took their oath of office. In spite of this, they appear to quickly set it aside as they recklessly pursue their field of dreams toward a state of tyranny. Too many Christians simply go along and I’m not advocating an uprising against the government. I’m advocating that Christians have a right to peacefully protest and even defend their rights in a court of law if it comes to that.

While I’m sure many would argue that the city is doing what it believes it should do to “trace” potential COVID-19 cases, in reality, has demanded information it does not legally have a right to collect. I’m wondering how many churches there believe they should “comply” with the mayor’s demands? If they don’t, will they be seen as “unloving,” “rebellious” or “unchristian”?

How far will this go? How much will people be willing to put up with before they say “enough!”? Again, this does not mean we take up arms against the government. It simply means that in the USA, citizens have rights that are guaranteed by the Constitution. If a person decides on their own to comply with certain restrictive and even unconstitutional measures, that’s their prerogative and they are absolutely free to do that. However, people should not be made to feel guilty if they do not comply with what Liberty Counsel in this case says is an illegal order by city officials.

The difficulty is that as we see more of these restrictions and demands put in place by politicians who are say they are acting in the best interest of all of society, there is coming a tipping point.

Imagine if the Reformers never spoke out against the joint secular-religious government of their day. At that time, the church was very powerful and governments appeared to back the position of the church. They were in bed together. That still exists today with the current pope chiding people for not obeying lockdown restrictions.

But today, we have governors and mayors of mainly blue states choosing to force churches to do things the “state’s” way, in spite of the fact that there is to be a clear separation of church and state. In the midst of this “pandemic,” Democrat politicians and leaders are doing all they can to squelch church attendance and going way beyond it by unconstitutionally demanding church leaders turn over lists of anyone who darkens the door of that church.

In other news but still related, Gov. Northam has received a warning shot from the DOJ regarding their forced closure of churches, considering gathering for worship to be “non-essential.” It is not only amazing, but appalling to me how many church leaders simply go along with this nonsense. There is certainly a very polite way to decline to follow illegal executive orders. But at the same time, it’s clear that many church leaders actually believe CV-19 is the worst pandemic to ever hit global society and if we’re not careful, we’ll become an extinguished society.

I’ve read opinions of the folks at Sword of the Lord and other conservative, evangelical publications. Most agree with the government and deny that the First Amendment is being infringed, even though  it is being seriously infringed. Of course, the only way to arrive to this conclusion is by believing that CV-19 is truly a pandemic that far exceeds the infection rate of anything else that has come prior to it, including SARS, MERS and the annual flu season. This simply is not true, but even if it was, does the state have the right to literally set aside the Constitution claiming that “keeping people safe” is far more beneficial to society than worrying about allowing people to gather for worship?

However, let’s not forget that the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recently and very quietly adjusted their total deaths numbers down from the previous 65,000 (USA) to the current 37,000. How does that happen unless someone was gaming the numbers in the first place? When CV-19 numbers were at 65,000, seasonal flu numbers were way down. Things that make you go “hmmm.”

But let’s shift gears here for a second or two, shall we? If we consider the many homeless camps throughout California alone, one would think that there would be an extremely high incidence of CV-19 infection and resultant deaths among all those homeless people crowded together in make-shift camps. I’ve not read anything that indicates these homeless camps are truly “hotbeds” for the CV-19 contagion. There’s nothing there that I can find and if it did exist, one would rightly think the government would pounce on that, using that information to pump up CV-19 infections and potential deaths from all those unhealthy people living in such close proximity to one another.

The fact that the government’s experts are not pointing to any of these homeless camps tells me that they are not doing so precisely because there is no general or dramatic increase in CV-19 infections or deaths.

So if we consider all of the restrictions placed on society today – sheltering in place, staying six feet away from other people, not going out unless you absolutely have to do so, washing your hands constantly, wearing masks, etc., etc., etc., – it would appear that those living in homeless camps are exempt from those same restrictions. Who is watching those folks? While patriots and conservatives are being harassed and hounded by police for gathering in protest according to the First Amendment, homeless people are not being hounded, harassed or even noticed.

If you’ve ever seen any of these homeless camps, you’ll know that people are generally living wherever they can pop up a tent and usually within very close proximity to other homeless people. In a very short period of time, these places literally become filled with hundreds or thousands of people who have no place to live, no means of supporting themselves and setting up makeshift camps for cooking, living, and their own pleasure. These same homeless people defecate and urinate on the streets of Los Angeles and San Francisco at an appallingly alarming rate and we know that CV-19 lives in stool for many hours. Yet, in spite of this, why no increase in CV-19 infections or deaths? If they exist, they’re not being reported either by local authorities or by the CDC.

What we can assume from that is that in a place where one would think it would be literally a petri dish of bacteria and disease butting right up against one another, instead we’re getting virtually nothing. So homeless camps apparently have found a way to be impervious to CV-19, while mayors and governors have found it necessary to tell Christians they may not worship together because worshipping with other Christians publicly is “non-essential.” Beyond this, they have determined which businesses are “essential” and which are not and that’s that. In spite of the fact that any business is essential if people shop there, these elected officials think they know best and have determined what can and what cannot be open for business.

If you stop to consider it, many of the “essential” businesses open now sell a ton of products from China. Go check it out sometime and prove me wrong with science. Walmart, Costco and even grocery store chains often sell products from China and other Asian nations. Why? Because they’re cheaper and clearly, China has a say in what happens in America since they own most of this nation’s debt.

Fascism is absolutely on the rise throughout American cities and states. Leftwing mayors and governors are calling the shots and using CV-19 to create hysteria and gain control over society as they never have before.

If you honestly believe things will go back to “normal” once CV-19 is over (hint: it’s never really going to be over even after a vaccine is available just like we have flu every season; hence “seasonal flu”), please think again. Even if all current restrictions were pulled away (they won’t be), at any point in the future, rest assured government will choose to yank our freedoms again and reinstate those restrictions every time another health scare raises its ugly head.

If you think those plexiglas shields at your favorite big box store are going back in the warehouse, or those “x marks the spot” on the floor will be scraped up, think again. While many of these restrictions will be eased, they will not go away permanently or forever.

If I read one more Christian leader intone that government is not infringing on our rights as Americans, I may have to call them to give them a polite piece of my mind. I’ve read one constitutional lawyer after another state quite clearly that executive orders do not have the force of law because they never went through the process of becoming law. Therefore, they are unconstitutional and we have a right to disobey them (politely).

The truth is that the Left really has society over a barrel. Instead of firing Drs. Fauci and Birx, President Trump keeps them around for some unknown reason. Pat answer says he’s “revealing the corruption.” So for that, Trump was willing to allow USA to nearly completely close with over 30 million people out of work, businesses lost and people committed suicide because of it?! What is wrong with this picture. When I hear him say the economy is going to roar back even bigger and better, that does not remove the tragedy of what has happened to so many people throughout America.

Folks, we can do better but as long as there are many people who firmly believe that it’s all “part of the plan” and “POTUS knows what he’s doing,” things won’t improve. The only way things will improve is when people start suing the government over the infringement of rights. It is not the government’s job to keep us “safe.” That is nowhere stated in the Constitution.

Watch out for those who try to make you feel guilty for not wearing a mask, accusing you of “killing” other people. In spite of actual facts, (which these folks dutifully ignore), these people continue to berate others who do not comply. Their “conditioned responses” to the Left’s egregious infringement of rights should be a wake-up call. Instead, it causes many to cower and simply obey whether they want to or not. Notice 4th and 26 first issued an implied threat than said he wasn’t “demanding.” This is a form of political correctness (aka Cultural Marxism) to force people to do what they might otherwise not do.

Again, I’d like to be clear here. Even though I do not believe any government has the Constitutional authority to demand we remain inside, wear masks when we go out or close businesses for a general health issue (it’s different when government closes a particular business because of actual health violations), if you are a person who wants to wear masks or obey every other restrictive measure out there, that is completely up to you. I would encourage you to do some research into “herd immunity” that numerous experts have talked about (but are not given any time on MSM because it doesn’t fit the narrative). Herd immunity is real and without germs in society, no one could actually exist. Think about that and research the actual science on that.

Every day, we encounter people who are ill, with viruses, colds, or the flu. These airborne diseases can cause our immune systems to power up and work for our benefit. Those with comped immune systems will usually get sick and may die because of it. That is not the fault of the disease necessarily. It is the fault of the person with the comped immune system.

If you are one of those people, then yes, you should take every precaution available to you. For those who are healthy, diseases in society activate our herd immunity, ultimately benefiting us by making us stronger.

Give it some thought at least, please. I’m not advocating anyone take risks. I’m advocating that people use wisdom, discernment and science to address some of the things that are being highly broadcast today that seem not to make sense at all. They don’t make sense because they are nonsensical and being used to create fear and panic. Fear overcomes and paralyzes us so that we cannot think straight.
