What is Easter All About?

There is a point in which church should make people at least a bit uncomfortable. What I mean by that is simple: as we attend church, the music, while being uplifting, should cause our hearts to lift toward the One who has set us free. At the same time, it should cause us to understand how woefully short we fall before Him and His grace. Yet, it is due to His incomprehensible love for us that we are drawn to Him because He draws us!

What Does It Really Mean When God Says to Come Out of Her?

Yes, there is an application here. I believe it is this: When the world’s system (Babylon) starts invading your local church, you can try to stand against it through prayer and discussion with leadership. You will probably fail though because the world’s system cannot get into the local church without permission of the leadership. By the time you notice it, it’s already been approved by the leadership. If you can’t get leadership to see the problem, you are left with only two choices. First, you can stay and continue to pray while you quietly work to wake people up. If you do this, know that you will likely come under fire and you may eventually be seen as someone who is working against “God.” Second, you can simply leave.

When Marketing Replaces the Holy Spirit We Get Corporate Christianity

The sad fact of the matter is that because religious organizations are too often seen as corporate structures, the same type of abuse that happens in secular humanistic organizations can and does happen in religious ones. The difference though is that the abuse that occurs within churches, parachurches, and other religious organizations is often done under the guise of biblical doctrine and theology. It’s enough to make the average Christian puke. No wonder Jesus says what He says about most of the seven churches in Revelation 2-3. It’s sickening.

Pineal Gland, New Age, and Christianity

The tragedy today that is infiltrated the (visible) church (or Christendom at large) is due to the occult and the interest that many even in the church are finding with this prohibited area. It boasts of secrecy that opens itself up to those who seek it, a hidden knowledge that, if searched for diligently, will offer rewards for humanity and self. This of course, is seen in Christian terms because the Bible promises that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (cf. Proverbs 8:17; Hebrews 11:6). What that is referring to is that He will reward people who seek Him for salvation. That is the entirety of the “secret” knowledge. Satan of course, wants us to believe that God will open the portals to secret wisdom found only in the heavenly realms or other dimensions.

What Is Your Church Practicing?

vTo the Christians who are so concerned about taking America back, I would caution you about doing that while your church becomes infiltrated with error. Why are you not concerned about that? Why are you unable to know if/when error starts to creep in?

Why is so much error taking root in churches today? It’s because Satan has too many Christians chasing after this thing or that thing, or that other thing over there in order to “fix” society. In doing so, it becomes relatively easy to ignore the lies that are taking hold in our local churches.

An Open Letter from John MacArthur Regarding SCOTUS Decision

The highest court in the land has passed its judgment. The headlines proclaim that a slim majority of Supreme Court justices considers freedom of sexual orientation a right for all Americans. This exchange of one set of values in favor of another does not come as a surprise to us who already know that the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe (2 Cor. 4:4). June 26th, 2015 stands as a significant milestone in the American demonstration of this ancient reality. This is a critical hour for believers across our nation.

Don Francisco’s Burgeoning Universalism, Part 1

Theology like Francisco’s ultimately leads to universalism, the belief that eventually everyone will get to heaven. People who believe in Universalism are often high-minded, pitying those of us who continue to believe that because of God’s laws, He must reject those who ultimately choose to reject Him. God is bigger, they say, than that. God loves all people and finds a way to bring all people to heaven. This untruth is the very lie that has motivated Satan since sin was first found in him. To these people, the Bible is more of a guide, but does not contain God’s actual truthful Word to humanity. They forget that without God’s written Word, we would know NOTHING about God’s physical, incarnate Word. Ultimately, this is merely another form of Cultural Marxism infiltrating aspects of the visible Church.

Jesus Culture: Emotionally Charged and Sensory Driven

The reality is that the Bible never speaks of huge revivals happening the last days. It speaks of horrors that are difficult to imagine, persecution that is off the charts, yet in the midst of it, people will be saved. They won’t be saved because of Jesus Culture’s loud, sensory-driven (and manipulative) music either. They will be saved by the solid preaching of the truth – God’s Word – just as occurred with Peter on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). There was no music, no lights, no fog machines. There was simply one man, empowered by God’s Holy Spirit to speak the truth (not platitudes) to people who desperately needed to hear it.

Why Worry About Technocracy and Technocrats?

Knowing what God tells us is going to happen helps us understand the entire movement of Technocracy and the Technocrats who are given control of it. We cannot change where this world is heading. At most, we can retain control in our local neighborhoods, but I would also issue a strong caution here. We must always remember that our mission in this world is to introduce people to Jesus for the only salvation that is available. That is our primary role here on earth.

Technocracy and the New Tower of Babel

What Satan was unable to accomplish the first time (essentially because of God’s timing and purposes), he has worked to achieve now and it appears as though God is going to allow Satan to build what he failed to build in Genesis 11. Of course, Satan has learned from his mistakes. He’s not interested gathering everyone together to build a physical structure that attempts to reach to the heavens. Today’s individual couldn’t care less about that. Unlike those who lived during the days of Noah after the Flood and believed in some sort of very powerful deity, today’s average person is lost, without God in the world. They more than likely see themselves as some sort of deity, if they have any religious beliefs and affirmations at all. This person would not benefit from a physical structure that directs their attention to the heavens, when in point of fact, Satan has been directing people to see themselves as gods.
