Donald Trump, the Bible, and the End Times, Pt 2

In spite of all the good that might be accomplished under Trump that could have long-lasting effects for America and the world, the reality is that whatever Trump is able to accomplish may inadvertently create a strong foundation for the coming world unification. We are talking about a financial reset, a new global currency, the appearance of peace throughout much of the world, and a new day of what many might consider to be their longed-for Utopia.

Deuteronomy is Moses’ Swansong

This is a great time for us to reflect on this area of idolatry. Most people today do not bow down before graven images. We don’t have shrines in our homes and I’m referring to Christians here. I know that those within Buddhism, and other Eastern religions often have some form of shrine in their home or around their home. Moses told the people to not make any type of image of anything that might tempt the people to worship it. This is anathema to God because He alone is to be worshiped.

Numbers 15 – Sabbath Breaker Stoned

We have laws for the benefit of all in society. Justice is supposed to be blind, but too often, it has been overruled by the rich and powerful, who work for outside influences. The tide needs to turn back to the rule of law as outlined by the Constitution of the United States of America.

Numbers 10 through 14: Complain, Complain, Complain

God basically gave Aaron and Miriam a good talking to and explained that He reveals Himself to whomsoever He wills. In the case of Moses, God assured the two that He spoke to Moses as one many speaks to another. Basically, God was telling Miriam and Aaron to mind their own business and stop questioning Moses or God. When God left their presence, Miriam had become leprous. Aaron was unaffected. I’m going to assume this was so because Miriam might have been the instigator here. Maybe she had become jealous of Moses and his new wife. Even though Miriam was Moses’ sister, she may have taken a less important role after Moses remarried. This could have been the reason. Aaron obviously had concerns or he would not have joined with Miriam, but it’s possible that like Eve, Miriam brought out his desires into the open, whereby he sinned. In the end, they both learned a very valuable lesson.

Mosaic Law was Overwhelming and It was Meant to Be

In Numbers 7, we learn about the dedication of the Tabernacle. The entire process took twelve (12) days to complete! A great many animals were sacrificed in the process as well. Finally, when everything was in place, the Lord took up residence above the Mercy Seat in the Holy of Holies and spoke to Moses from there (Numbers 7:89). Consider just how many animals needed to be sacrificed in order to complete the dedication of the tabernacle. No less than 12 bulls, 71 rams, 72 lambs a year old, 72 goats, and 24 oxen were sacrificed over a period of the twelve days. This does not even include the shekels, the flour and grain also offered during the dedication of the tabernacle.

Book of Numbers is More than Just Numbering Israelites

One of my favorite parts of the first few chapters of Numbers is when God tells Moses who will do what and God does so by name. This is clearly seen in the first four chapters of Numbers where God specifically appoints certain individuals for specific tasks. This is astounding to me. God knew these people intimately…by name. He didn’t just say “find a few people whom you believe will do this task well.” No, God often told Moses the names of certain individuals whom He had anointed for certain work. Isn’t that something?

Americans Are Dreamers Too

It has become exceedingly clear that the Democrat Party is the official party of obfuscation. They not only do not want America to move forward, but they want what Mr. Obama worked in earnest to achieve to continue. The Democrat Party is now the party of opposition. They oppose everything good that President Trump and most Republicans are attempting to accomplish. Over the next few weeks, and once the Memo is released, it will become even more apparent to the average person just how corrupt and weaponized parts of the federal government became under President Obama.

Constancy of Offerings Under Levitical System

In the Old Testament, salvation came to people the exact same way it comes to us; through faith (Hebrews 11). However, also during the Old Testament times, the sacrificial system played an important role in ensuring that people understood that sin was reprehensible to God. Drastic measures (death of animals, which often necessitated sacrifice by owners were needed because the sacrifice was taken from their flocks, meaning one less animal or more to have for financial purposes). This was done by the penitent to remain in fellowship with God.

Politics as Usual or Are Things Changing?

It is also very important to understand that literally, one man changed the course of this country’s direction in late 2016. He was panned by James Clapper, John Brennan and Barack Obama. They warned incoming president Donald Trump to fire the guy because they said he was trouble. Turns out, this guy had already met with Trump (unknown to Clapper and the others), and had warned him that the “deep state” wanted to take Trump down. He outlined how they were attempting to do that. He also told Trump that every phone in Trump Tower was bugged. They were listening and recording. The next day, Trump moved his transition team to a safe place in New Jersey.

Knowing God’s Will: Context Means a Great Deal

Taking this verse out of its natural context, it’s not difficult to see how it can be twisted to mean something it does not mean. The idea here is that meditating on God’s Word will pave the way to success and prosperity, so we’re told. But is this what Joshua meant when he spoke those words? Hardly. The context fleshes out the full meaning.
