Will the PHYSICAL Jewish Temple Be Rebuilt During the Tribulation?

Because the average Jew is lost today, those living in Israel want to see the Temple rebuilt. They believe – again, wrongly – that through the reestablished sacrificial system, they will once again be able to draw close to God. It will only be through that – building the Temple and establishing sacrifices again – that they will see how wrong they are, especially when the coming Antichrist goes into the Holy of Holies and literally sits down inside it declaring himself to BE God as Antiochus did in 168 BC. It will be the same mistake repeated! This is also the fulfillment of Satan’s five “I will” promises in Isaiah 14 as we’ve discussed in other articles. Satan, working through Antichrist, will RULE the world and will do his level best to make himself to appear to be LIKE God to humanity. Titus wasn’t even close to being the coming Antichrist. This future Antichrist will rise among the ten “kings” (Revelation 17) and once he does, will “uproot” three of them (by killing them) and will become ruler over them. But this cannot happen until the world becomes ONE under a new world order. We’re not there yet, though it’s coming rapidly.

Rapture Will Impact the World as Will the Deluding Influence that Follows It

We think we have it bad now in the world? This pales in comparison to what life will be like in the future after the Church is Raptured and the deluding influence is sent by God so that people willfully embrace what is false. The aftermath of both events (Rapture and the delusion sent by God) will be so devastating and so pervasive throughout global society that people will actually wish for death because they believe that at least the horrors of this life will be over (cf. Revelation 9:6). Those who think that way of course have no understanding of who God is and the fact that He is everywhere at once. To go from this life to the next without Jesus means to lose every opportunity to see the truth regarding salvation.

Folks, is there any other reason you can think of that should cause us to increase our efforts to evangelize the lost? I can’t think of one. It is time for you to reach out to friends, neighbors, and even family to share with them the only information that can provide them with the possibility of receiving salvation.

Rapture, Increasing Lawlessness, and the Tribulation, Part 3

The Rapture is PreTrib in nature. It will happen prior to the beginning of the Tribulation. It needs to do so in order that lawlessness might become truly lawless. This will help pave the way in global society to receive the “man of sin” who will be the embodiment of lawlessness himself. It is not so much that the world itself will become more evil through malicious crimes and lack of concern for other humans. That will certainly be part of it. The lawlessness that Paul speaks of is the result of global society doing everything they can to rid themselves of the belief in God and His absolute truth.

As long as the true Church is in society, the Holy Spirit holds things in check, not allowing this world to become as lawless as it will be once the true Church is gone. Once the true Church is gone, so too, is a major avenue of influence that the Holy Spirit uses to literally keep Satan at bay. Lawlessness in the form of a society being thoroughly “anti-God” will become so emboldened leading up to the Tribulation (after the Rapture) that as Jesus said, “For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will,” (Matthew 24:21).

Rapture, Increasing Lawlessness, and the Tribulation, Part 2

We know that what is happening in society right now is due to the growing apostasy/falling away from any and every law that even smacks of being from the God of the Bible. It will only worsen once the Church is gone, taken by God in the Rapture. This is reminiscent of God “taking” Noah and his family in the protective shelter of the Ark, as they floated above the earth on top of the water (since there was no mountain God could have placed them as occurred with the situation with Lot. While some argue that God kept Noah and his family safe during the flood (but not out of the flood), it’s a bit of a moot point since there was actually no place on earth God could have placed them where they would have been safe, given that the entire earth was covered with water, extending 15 meters beyond the tallest mountain according to the Genesis account.

Rapture, Increasing Lawlessness, and the Tribulation, Part 1

Besides the constant push toward evil that currently exists in global society, certain events highlighted in the Bible will play their part in allowing and advocating a greater advance of evil than would have occurred had those events not happened at all. Certainly one large, unmistakable event is the Rapture. Yet, too many people tend to think of the Rapture as merely an event in which millions of authentic Christians “escape” from this planet. That is certainly part of it; one side of the coin. However, the other part of the coin – as the result of the Rapture occurring – is represented by the things that occur in society because the Rapture has taken place. This cannot be stressed enough.

Theological Problems for Those Who Fail to Grasp Scripture

Folks, as I have said numerous times. It does not matter to me WHEN the Rapture happens. In fact, I might die before it ever occurs. What concerns me is the salvation of those who walk through this life and who do not know Jesus. Our friend has a blog and it appears his entire motivation for that blog has nothing to do with witnessing or evangelizing the lost. His entire blog (as far as I can tell) is to discount the PreTrib Rapture. That’s it. That’s his apparent mission in life, which tells me that he is being disobedient to the Great Commission at the very least.

What is the Coming Tribulation All About, Part 19

n both cases – the passage from Revelation and the one from Mark, Jesus notes that the people of the house (of Israel) do not know when the master will return and because of that, they should stay awake and prepared. There are many today – mostly in the Preterists and Reformed/Covenant camps who believe that Jesus already returned spiritually in AD 70 when God judged the nation of Israel by causing Roman armies to destroy Jerusalem and the Temple. The problem with this interpretation is that it is simply not Scriptural. Jesus said when He returns, every eye would see Him (Matthew 24), and in Acts 1, the disciples are told (after Jesus is taken up to the clouds physically) that this Jesus would return the very same way, meaning in the clouds and physically.

What is the Coming Tribulation All About, Part 18

This is why books like Revelation are confusing to people. Many do not see the connections from Revelation to Daniel, Ezekiel, or other books of the Bible. We fail to understand that God wrote the entire Bible using roughly 40 human authors over a period of roughly 1,600 to 2,000 years to do it. Yet, it was God who oversaw its writings. It is best to see God’s Word in those terms because it allows us to avoid a great many mistakes.

Point of Clarification Regarding the Rapture and Tribulation

The one thing I think all of us Christians lack (and that includes me) is a more prominent display of authentic humility (to God) in our lives. No one living today is Jesus Christ even though there are at least five people alive right now who claim to be Him. No one has His understanding. No one has His wisdom. No one has His sinless nature. We must endeavor to adopt a true spirit of humility (that only God can provide) so that disagreements over doctrine do not become points of contention and knock-down, drag-outs.

What is the Coming Tribulation All About? Part 3

I fully believe that this coming seven-year period is a time when God will pour out His wrath onto this world. I explained this in Part 1. As another proof of this, please note that Revelation 5 depicts a scene in heaven where a seven-sealed scroll is introduced. This scroll appears to be something special and at first, it looks like no one is found worthy to open it. John the apostle, who witnesses this scene, breaks down into tears because all seemed hopeless.
