False Teachers and Prophets, Part 1
It is extremely important for Christians to use discernment and wisdom. That happens when we are well-versed in the Scriptures and have drawn and remain close to the Lord. It is the best defense against all false teachers and prophets.
Technocracy: Building the Beast – Transhumanism
As noted, transhumanism is really the crossing or combining of human, bio-technics and even animal splicing in an attempt to create “eternal life” physically on the earth. The people who believe and push this have even adopted a Transhumanist Declaration that sums up their beliefs and what they hope to realize.

The final empire is coming according to Scripture. It is being built now. I don’t believe it will finalize until after the Rapture in preparation for the Tribulation, but we do not know how “mandated” society will become and how difficult it will be to move around in society due to mandates.
News and Notes for Friday August 21, 2010
There is so much happening in the world today it is impossible for any one site to catalog it all. In presenting News and Notes updates weekly or biweekly, I hope to provide bits and pieces of various subjects that I believe will be of interest to readers.
What Time is It?
What we are seeing in the world today is preparation for the coming Tribulation. It is building toward that time. It could be here in six months or six years, I have no clue. I do know that because America in general, including our leaders, have not repented of our corruption, our evil, and our deliberate turning our back on God our Creator, then God will have to judge the USA. If He doesn’t He will need to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah and every other city or empire He judged previously and He is just, fair and righteous. He will not have to apologize to anyone.
2 Thessalonians: Holding Up Under Hard Times
I recall one particular situation where as I was walking home from school, I was approached and blocked by a larger student, who was getting in my face and being unkind to say the least. I’ve always had the ability to say what I thought even when it wasn’t necessarily the wisest thing to do. Instead of backing down, I stood up as tall as I could and with a bit of false bravado, I refused to be bullied. I balled up my fists and stuck out my chin to him as I refused to cower outwardly. Surprisingly, instead of beating me, he eventually simply walked away with a snarl.
2 Thessalonians: Introduction
Though these things are often unpleasant, God allows these for our growth and His glory – the spread of the Gospel. It may be extremely difficult for us – depending upon our personalities – to willingly place ourselves under persecution God allows to come to us. Yet Paul echoes Jesus in saying we are blessed! God WILL reward our willing acceptance of what He allows to come our way. He will reward us NOW with greater faith and the ability to persevere. He will reward us LATER with a full rest from all afflictions/persecutions.
Lawlessness: the Vehicle Ushering in Final Empire
As lawlessness increases, we know that things are building to a new order, the final empire. The goal of lawlessness is not simply to be lawless. The goal is to overturn and overrule. It puts so much internal pressure on the current system that something has to give. That something is usually the system itself, which is replaced with something else.
Social Distancing Measures are Here to Stay
What we are seeing is pure Hegelian Dialectic. The government wanted a specific direction so they created a problem (shutting down society based on a health risk), people clamor for a solution so government said, “Okay” and start reopening society with many restrictive measures in place and the only way they’ll possibly be rolled back is by receiving the coming vaccine. Because there is some relief, the average person breathes a sigh of relief believing that things are going back to normal. Instead, a new normal is created and people eventually get used to it.
Babylon and Its System, Part 4
Those Christians living during the coming Tribulation will be very tempted to become part of the Babylon system – religiously, economically, politically and socially – and may even want to move to that location to be closer to the action. The fact that once destroyed, Babylon becomes a haunt of demons, unclean spirits, birds and beasts probably affirms the fact that this Babylon in Revelation 17/18 is a real, physical place if physical birds and beasts can dwell there.
