The Leftwing Media Has Its Own Agenda

As things come to a close for this election, we will soon see whether or not this country has elected a new president, or re-elected Mr. Obama for another four years. If the former, we could very well be on our way to recovery, though that will take time since the economy is in far worse shape today than it was when Mr. Obama took office in 2008. If the latter, then it’s doubtful that America will be in play as a major nation by the end of 2016. All of this remains to be seen, of course.

Inner City Chicago Blacks Speak Out. Are You Listening?

These individuals are not given attention by the media for one simple reason. They are not in line with the media’s agenda to re-elect Mr. Obama. These people however, actually have to live with the results of Chicago’s Democratic Party that has done absolutely nothing for them over decades of abuse and mismanagement.

Why Pray?

Lately, I’ve been a lot of thought to the subject of prayer. The same questions seem to continue to come to the top. How can we pray? Can we really come to God with our requests? How do we exercise faith to believe that He will grant our requests, while at the same time, understanding that His and only His will be done?

In fact, I have noticed that more often than not when I pray for things, it is when I attach the disclaimer or caveat if you will, that only His will be done, I find my faith taking a dive. It seems very difficult to be specific in our prayers when we know we should really only be asking for His will in each matter that we bring before Him.

This Guy Makes Incredible Sense…

I read an article by Wayne Allen Root tonight on the upcoming election. He has some interesting things to say about what we can expect on Tuesday. I’m inclined to agree for a couple of reasons. I agree with him that the pollsters and pundits speak from their own bias and that goes for conservative and liberal. I also believe that something is happening to this nation and it is a good thing. People have come to the realization that Mr. Obama is not what this country needs. His socialist agenda does not work in a Constitutional Republic. Moreover, Socialism has never really worked anywhere.

They Tell Us Voter Fraud Does NOT Exist…

I thought this was interesting enough to want to blog about it. Do I know for a fact that this is TRUE? No, but neither do I know for a fact that it is NOT true.

Threats from Sore Losers

This has been going off and on for some time now, but since the election is this coming Tuesday, it seems to be that those who believe that their particular candidate – in this case, Mr. Obama – may lose the election, they are threatening to riot. There are tweets being tweeted from individuals who apparently don’t believe in the electoral process. They believe that if their candidate loses, they can create civil unrest. So far, no one has posted of anyone who is threatening to riot if Mitt Romney loses. It all seems to be coming from those who support Mr. Obama.

What Can We Expect from Godless Politicians?

As a Christian, it is difficult to place our faith and trust in our elected officials. In truth, we should probably not place too much trust in them simply because of how often they seem to change their opinions on one ideal or another. They seem to change direction more often the wind. It has become obvious over the past few decades that politicians often do what is in their best interests, even though they are supposed to represent the people that voted them into office in the first place.

Today’s Political Arena and the Authentic Christian

Any true Christian understands a number of things about our world. We understand that God is in control, regardless of how things look to us. We also understand that God has promised an ultimate judgment that He will personally visit on this planet at the end of this age in which we currently live.

Christians Need to be in Prayer

With the deadly storm called Hurricane Sandy fast approaching land near the northern part of the East Coast, Christians need to be in concerted prayer for the safety of people who will be affected.

Mounting Tension within the Christian

I was sitting in church today with my family and listened to our guest speaker. He spoke on Matthew 11 mainly, though he also moved around the Scriptures.

One of the main things he spoke on was the conflict that always exists within the Christian and it has to do with sin, self, and service to Christ. It of course got me thinking of my own life and commitment to Jesus. How well do I serve Him? How well do I emulate Him and His character?
