United States Will NOT Impose Solution on Peace Talks

Deal breakers: Mr Obama holds a dinner with Middle Eastern leaders including Jordan's King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and former British PM Tony Blair Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1308370/Barack-Obama-tells-Middle-East-leaders-let-chance-peace-slip-away-ahead-crunch-talks.

Clinton, speaking at the launch of the negotiations, said the U.S. ‘cannot and will not impose a solution’ to the conflict.” [1]

This is part of what bothers me about this particular administration.  President Obama has clearly made it known at every possible juncture what he expects from Israel.  He has only preconditioned Israel with the things he expects them to do in order that “peace” talks can begin and continue.  He had barely become president when he demanded that all settlement building in Israel must freeze for negotiations to occur.

Now though, Clinton would have us believe that the United States is not imposing a solution on the situation.  This of course, means that she is either saying something out of the both sides of her mouth, or she firmly believes the American people are morons, or both.

There has to be a good deal of certainty and pressure existing in order for Netanyahu to make a 180 degree turn regarding his decision about never dividing Jerusalem.  There has to have been some type of tough talk from the Obama Administration behind the scenes.  Based on Obama’s treatment of Netanyahu previously, when he essentially treated him like he was a three-year old at the White House, we know that there has been tension and unparalleled insistence from the president that Netanyahu does things Obama’s way.

The fact that both Abbas and Netanyahu have come out publicly and stated that they have experienced no pressure from this administration is also telling.  Why state it?  Why insist that there is no pressure from President Obama or his administration if it was not there.  Why address the issue at all?  It was addressed because the public knows that previously there has been pressure from Obama on certain things to leaders of Israel.  There is good reason to believe that even more pressure is being exerted on Netanyahu this time.

President Obama certainly wants to be the hero here, making a breaththrough in the peace progress of the Middle East.  Imagine the accolades the individual who brings this about will receive.  We know from Scripture that the Antichrist will broker peace between these two warring parties and as a result, will be highly acclaimed.

It seems clear to me that Clinton’s statement is merely a lie to cover up the fact that ultimatums have been issued to Netanyahu only.  This is the only way that he would be willing to agree to divide Jerusalem up at all, since previous to this, he was ardently opposed to any thought of dividing it.

I will agree with Ray Gano from Prophezine.com who stated recently that this is what is supposed to occur, according to Scripture and he sited many Scriptural references.  In fact, the Old Testament is replete with this recurring theme that not only will Israel be a thorn in the flesh to all nations until the end, but Gentile nations will divide Israel and Jerusalem up as they see fit.

What the public sees are two individuals coming together; one from the Arab world and one from the Jewish world.  This process is overseen by George Mitchell and Team Obama.  The world sees the two leaders making good progress toward “peace”…finally.  However, let’s be clear that this is not the true peace that God will bring when Jesus Christ physically returns to this earth (and it does not matter how powerfully evil Satan is or all of his cohorts, including those Satanic Soldiers referred to as the Chosen Ones).  Upon Christ’s physical return, He will destroy those who oppose Him and He will establish a peaceful reign.

What is happening now is what is supposed to happen; a sense of peace that the world will finally believe is the peace they have been searching for in the Middle East.

All of a sudden, now people are speaking optimistically of the peace process coming to something within a year’s time.  How did this happen all of a sudden?  I believe it happened because of the threatening posture of the Obama Administration.

In spite of Clinton’s denials to the contrary, I firmly believe that President Obama has more than insisted that if he does not get his way, Israel will suffer, and she will suffer severely.

Of course, the trouble is that Netanyahu, Ehud Barak and others believe the president when he makes these statements.  It proves that they are not relying on God and He is likely not even in their sights.  They are scared and are on the run.

I would not at all have difficulty believing that Obama has made it plainly and unequivocally clear that to not do what he (Obama) wants means that Israel will not only be thrown under the bus, but thrown to the wolves as well.  I can see Obama promising that to disobey his directives would mean the United States turning her back completely on Israel and letting the chips fall where they may.

I read a blog by another theologian who stated that “Although this peace–pact concept hints of the biblical false covenant prophesied in Daniel 9:27, it presents different time tables that dismiss it from having prophetic implications. However, this round of peace talks may prove to be prophetically critical.” [2]  The same theologian goes onto say that…

“The primary prohibitive obstacles to this round of peace talks are:

  1. They don’t include Israel’s primary enemies: Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Lebanon and Hamas;
  2. They won’t sufficiently address the religious ramifications of Jerusalem’s sovereignty;
  3. They won’t resolve the resettlement crisis of the Palestinian Refugees;
  4. They will require the forfeiture of Promised Land presently under Israeli control, a pivotal matter Israel will likely oppose, and
  5. They don’t integrate the prophetic word of God.” [3]

I guess I’m not seeing that at all.  As clarification, the same writer states, “Ezekiel 28:24-26 declares that Mideast peace is achieved through a series of judgments forthcoming upon Israel’s neighboring enemies. These judgments employ military rather than political means to resolve the present conflict.” [4]  Again, I’m not following because the situation in Ezekiel 28:24-26 describes a situation that occurred long ago.  It is not an event that is waiting for a future time.  As far as Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Lebanon and Hamas, these enemies will be there until nearly the time of the end of the Tribulation, prior to Christ’s physical return.

It seems more likely and biblical that the coming peace that is brokered by the Antichrist with Israel and those who surround her will happen on the heels of great global collapse, when the world seeks a savior, a messiah, to bring society back from near death.  Out of the shadows will step the Antichrist, able to accomplish what no one else has been able to accomplish since time immemorial.

Now on one hand, the author of the above comments may have a point related to the timing of this attempted peace treaty.  At this point, it is not occurring following great collapse and chaos.  However, the talks have barely begun, and as noted, Israel enters the talks with a willingness to allow Jerusalem to be divided.  Clinton and others have stated the possibility of peace could take place within one year’s time.  That’s a ways off and a great deal could happen during the next year.  Certainly, with the way the economy is going, there could easily be financial collapse, leading to civil and political unrest.  Religious freedom might then become a thing of the past, at least as far as Christianity is concerned.  What is to say that within the space of a year, a deal could not be reached and agreements signed?

It is funny, but when Obama first became president, a number of people were wondering if he were the coming Antichrist.  I didn’t think so, mainly because I did not see a level of intelligence that I though would exist in the Antichrist.

I am now having second thoughts that either he is a direct forerunner to the Antichrist, or he may be that man of sin.  That may sound extremely harsh to some (especially to those who voted for Obama and still believe he is doing a wonderful job), but the truth of the matter is that the Antichrist will not play his cards all at once.  The Bible teaches throughout Daniel and Revelation that his rise to the top occurs in stages.  In fact, during the first part of the Tribulation, it appears that he is relatively quiet, although we do not know precisely when some of the events listed in Revelation will occur, so he may not be as quiet as the biblical text implies.  In the end, it does not matter what I think.  It only matters what the Word of God specifically states, and in it, we do not have the revelation of the identity of this coming tyrant.

In President Obama, we have someone for the first time in U.S. history who has not only no love-loss for Israel, but appears to have what appears to be a deep-seated dislike (dare I say loathing) for Israel.  He has allowed that to come to the surface on at least one occasion and has learned to keep his inward emotions in check since then.

Beyond this, it is certainly the first time in the history of this nation that people were actually referring to a presidential candidate as the “one” or the “messiah” along the lines of Neo from The Matrix.  It seemed as though the entire planet was caught up in a paranormal love fest for Barack H. Obama, who seemed to be able to do no wrong, and even in spite of the continued questions surrounding his eligibility to be president and other things as well, these are neatly shoved to the side as if they bear no importance whatsoever.

It may also be that President Obama is simply the most egotistical and arrogant president this nation has had.  He has no difficulty ignoring the will of the people, laughing at what he considers to be their puny attempts to protest him through Tea Party, or something else.  He seems to have no problem circumventing Congress when he needs to do so to achieve his goals (prohibiting Korea from selling anymore M1s rifles to the United States, the rumored blanket amnesty for illegal aliens, or the recent discovery that U.S. taxpayer funds may in fact be one possible source for the Ground Zero mosque).  Beyond all of this and besides the health care issue, his major concerns have been devoted to the Middle East problem and pandering after Islam, as if he was placed in office to smooth the way for Islam to become dominant and not considering the people of the United States.

Obama has resolutely ignored the real problem of an open border and the continuing difficulties that it creates for this country.  Unlike any previous president, he is suing a state of the United States because they are attempting to do what the Federal government is not doing, though the law is on the books.

In short, though pro-Obama people do not like hearing this, Obama acts much closer to a dictator than a president duly elected by the people and to work for the people of the United States.

The question of his eligibility remains, in spite of his attempts to prove that he is a natural born citizen of the United States.  Now apparently, according to the State Department, Obama has a dual citizenship!  It is uncanny how these bits of information just seem to come out of nowhere and they are supposed to silence critics and questions.

I am very interested how these “peace” talks will turn out.  Things seem to be finally moving at a breakneck pace and though we know the ultimate outcome, we do not know the immediate future.  A good deal can happen within the space of a year.  Who knows what or if this peace agreement will look like at the end of that time frame.

We need to remember that the Antichrist will come on the scene as one thing, but inwardly is something else entirely.  His mask will not come off until the middle of the Tribulation.  People will love him, they will adore him, they will marvel at his ability and intelligence, as well as his ability to “wow” the world.  One thing remains with these peace talks is that if anything of substance comes out of them, then the Antichrist may be standing right in front of us.
