Thank You, President Obama for Raising My Healthcare Premiums and Reducing My Coverage!

Funny how many people voted for President Obama because of his “Change is Coming!” platform. They were also very excited about his healthcare package, which as Nancy Pelosi stated prior to its passage, “You’ll have to pass it to see what’s in it” (or something similar).
As soon as it was passed, analysts started adding things up and soon realized that in order to make the Obama healthcare package actually work, it would cost TRILLIONS of dollars in additional taxes. That’s what Socialism does – it takes from those who have to give to those who do not have.
Now, we are beginning to see how Obama’s healthcare package is starting to trickle down to the average, hard-working American. We were just informed that there were going to be some changes to our healthcare coverage. Here is what we learned:
- co-pays went UP from $15 to $20 for office visits
- healthcare premiums deducted from our paycheck went UP from $33 per week to $116 per week
- the overall value of our healthcare package will now be reported to the IRS (they say we WON’T be taxed on that value…this year
Maybe that does not seem like a big deal to you. That’s probably because it does not affect you. It affects my family. That is a huge chunk of money to have ripped from your household budget virtually overnight. Even if we do NOT go to the doctor, or have a prescription filled for a year, we will still wind up paying an additional $4,316 for the entire year through increased premiums.
This is the wonder of the Obama healthcare package. Insurance companies know how it will affect them (and some insurance companies have already said it is virtually impossible for them to adhere to all the tenets of the new healthcare package.
This is probably fine with President Obama and his administration because, like any good Socialist, he would probably like to take it over anyway and have it maintained by the Federal Gov’t. So, throughout America, rates are increasing for the average American – the hard-working, faithfully paying American worker, who simply wants to take care of their families. They work hard so they rightly believe they are entitled to healthcare coverage.
If you are dirt poor (read: on welfare), or you happen to be Muslim, you will simply get your healthcare free of charge, thanks to the hard-working American who has faithfully paid into the system, covering it for you.
This is the problem with Socialism though. It does not work because of people themselves. Socialism provides no good reason to work hard because others are paying for YOUR needs. Why bother working, when you can get it free?
This is only the tip of the iceberg and hopefully, with more conservatives at bat, at least some of the Obama healthcare package will be repealed. I would prefer it to be annihilated altogether.
We already know that there are additional taxes built into (read: hidden) the new healthcare package like the previously mentioned tax on selling your home. There are some real doozies, but interestingly enough, Obama promised throughout his campaign for the presidency to NOT RAISE TAXES. I’m kind of at a loss here since our taxes ARE being raised here and there, little by little. I suppose what he meant was that our taxes would not be DIRECTLY raised. Oh well, who cares about the nuances of language anyway?
So, to all you Barry Sotero lovers…I mean Barack Hussein Obama lovers (and WHY did he change his name to one with a decidedly Islamic flair if he is NOT Muslim?), thanks for helping to take more money out of my wallet, so that I have to cut back on…oh, food in order to pay for rising healthcare premiums. Thank you so much.
Seriously, I know that God will take care of me. My concern is really for those who do not know God and are going to have to fend for themselves. Tragic.
