Clamping Down on Americans; Ignoring the Real Threats

The longer this particular administration stays in control, the more they will try to control the lives of American citizens, while ignoring real threats to the United States.

For instance, with the latest changes and modifications that occur while going through airport “security” (a joke to be sure), law-abiding Americans are subjected to invasive security techniques that essentially set aside civil and Constitutional rights.  This is done – it is said – because of the need to ramp up security in the face of terrorist threats.

Two of the declared excuses for this physical (some say “sexual”) assault on our person has to do with

1. last Christmas’ attempted terrorist plot where the individual had explosives in his underwear
2. the modified printer packages that were stopped in the U.K., but were intended for places in America

The plain fact of the matter is that the second excuse does not even matter.  It is not relative since the modified printer packages were not carried on by individuals, but were actually in the cargo hold of the plane as airmail packages.  The first one may have some plausibility, but it also serves to point out that the mighty TSA has never been successful in stopping terrorists in the first place.  That job has always been left to the people on the airplane.

Ray Gano, over at Prophezine.com sent out an article by Doug Hagmann called “DHS & TSA: Making a List and Checking it Twice.”  In it, Hagmann details the very real threat from both the Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Administration.  Apparently, these folks are playing hardball all right, but not necessarily with terrorists.  They are now going after law-abiding Americans who have a problem with their civil and Constitutional rights being set aside and these individuals will be labeled “domestic extremists” according to the article.  Beyond this, the name and other pertinent information of the individual(s) protesting the new TSA techniques is to be sent to the TSA and DHS apparently so that they can look further into the situation.

Let me summarize:  In the United States, citizens are said to be protected by the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  However, when it comes to national security, all bets are off.  It appears that the government can do whatever it wants to do in the name of security.  However, if you are an illegal alien, not to worry, because you will not have to prove that you are an American citizen.  In fact, every effort will be made to ensure that your actual status as an illegal is never uncovered.  In short, if you simply do what the government tells you to do – as a lamb to the slaughter – you’re fine.  You are considered to be an upstanding citizen.  Once you start referring to your actual civil and Constitutional rights, then you become suspect.  Leave it to the braniacs in Washington, DC who never have to go through security checks to come up with that one.

But here is the real rub.  A few weeks ago, there was a contrail not far off the coast of California.  “Look! Up in the sky! It’s a plane! Yes, a plane!” Our government was silent on the whole thing and that is not the fault of NORAD or anyone directly associated with that.  It is the fault of our Commander-in-Chief, who very likely gave the order not to disclose what in fact, created the contrail.

Fortunately for the rest of us, we have people in this country who are smarter than our current president happens to be with respect to how he views the average American.  While our president sits there saying, “Look, just tell the American people that it was a jet.  They will believe that because they are morons – I mean, they voted me in, didn’t they? – and life goes on,” there are people in this country who are very intelligent and also (thankfully), very willing to provide the American people with the information that this administration thinks we either cannot handle, or would give away the intentions of this particular administration.

Not to sound conspiratorial, but I’m fairly confident that people from this administration have zero’d in on this blog.  In fact, I believe that I have had conversations with at least one person connected with this administration.  Why?  Because I am one of those vocal pundits who does not care for the way this administration is doing things.  I do not like the cover-ups with respect to the birth certificate (and by the way, are you aware that Kagen was directly involved in responding to and turning down all requests for more information regarding Obama’s citizenship?  Look where that got her), and a myriad of other things.  If you are a blogger that does not cotton to our president or his radical ideas, the chances are great that you are also in this administration’s cross hairs.  If so, be sure that everything you say can be documented and do NOT (EVER!) become in any way associated with the illegal downloading of music…

With respect to the recently viewed contrail off the coast of California, there is this quote:  “In my opinion there is absolutely no doubt that what was captured on video off the coast of California was a missile launch…” [1]  This statement is from a man who was intimately involved in NORAD operations.  In fact, anyone who saw the contrail would question the official “assessment” that America was not in any danger because it was supposedly the contrail of a jet.  Can someone please show me a passenger jet that flies like that (virtually straight up, leaving a curly cue trail behind)?  What a wild ride that would have been and I cannot imagine passengers on such a jet keeping quiet about it afterwards.  Beyond this, the FAA indicated that there were NO jets of any kind flying in that area at that time.

So, someone is doing something to keep the American people from knowing the truth.  On one hand, we are practically told to remove our clothing and bend over at the airports because we all pose a threat to security.  On the other hand, a missile is launched from an offshore Chinese submarine and our administration goes “No worries, folks!  Nothing to see here, keep moving.”  Who are they kidding and whatever happened to our current president’s promise to become the most transparent administration ever?

Politicians do one thing remarkably well – they lie.  They believe they have to lie to protect the American people.  Ultimately, they lie to protect themselves and their own interests.  Imagine how it would look if our administration came out and admitted that the Chinese had launched a missile across America’s bow, while our inept leader was out of the country having talks with China.  It would not look good at all and he knows it.  Better to deny than admit.

It is a sad day for sure when Americans are made to look and feel as though they are “domestic extremists” simply because they object to their civil and Constitutional rights being purposefully violated.  Add to that the idea that the message from the White House is that we are morons and should be told as little as possible and we have in the making a situation that may very well be something that this government of ours will not enjoy seeing: people up in arms over the idea that though we live in a democracy, we can all be illegally be treated as criminals.

There is something tragically wrong with that and it comes from the top down.  The sooner this administration is voted out of office, the better for this country.  While I realize there are a handful of people who believe that Obama’s policies have been and are wonderful for America, those are the people who unfortunately lack the intelligence to truly understand what Obama is doing to America.  He is essentially, causing us to collectively disrobe and bend over.  He is simply bringing us steps closer to a police state.
