Mr. Obama is Just Unbelievable

May 19, 2011 at 12:08 PM 16 comments

Let’s say someone broke into your home and began removing your things.  You were taken totally by surprise and overcome with fear.  They had one up on you because of surprise.  You had no idea you were going to be attacked and robbed.

You started to fight back.  Little by little, you gained control over them, but it was a very tiring fight.  Eventually, you made it out to their truck and began returning your items to your home.  They did not let this happen without a fight, but you persevered.

Eventually, you got all your items back into your home and decided to teach them a lesson by taking their truck and parking it in your garage.  That left them on the sidewalk crying and whining about the fact that you stole their truck.

Living in America, we know what would happen.  We know that the criminal would call the authorities and you would be forced to give the truck back.  Depending upon the state you lived in, you might even be charged with theft, in spite of the fact that you were attacked first.

But let’s pretend that in a perfect world, you overcame your attacker and thief and took everything back that belonged to you and then were allowed to keep the truck too.  After all, isn’t everything fair in love and war?

This is essentially what happened in 1967 in the Middle East.  While Israel was minding its own business on the Sabbath, Syria and Egypt conspired to attack that tiny nation.  Initially, they wound up killing many Israelis and encroached upon Israel’s land.  In fact, they wound up gaining land that they lost in 1948.  However, it didn’t stop there.  Syria and Egypt began to push hard and gained more land over the next few weeks.

Israel, initially overcome by being attacked on the Sabbath, regained her wits and as soon as the Sabbath was over, gathered herself for the storm that was already upon them.  Within a short period of time, Israel managed to regain what had recently been lost to Syrian and Egyptian forces.  Israel did not stop there and kept fighting.

Eventually, Israel overcame all the odds that both Syria and Egypt threw in her path and gained control of more land than she had prior to this recent unprovoked attack.  By the end of the “Six-Day” War of 1967, Israel had gained full control of all of Jerusalem (up to that time, Israel only had control of new Jerusalem, not the old part), which included the Temple Mount, as well as other areas of Gaza and the Golan Heights.

Eventually, this war ended and Israel was the victor.  She had new land and not since the time of Jesus had Jerusalem been once again reunited under Israeli control.  However, even with this, Israel authorities opted to allow Arabs/Muslims to exercise actual control of East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.  On paper, Israel controlled everything and still does…on paper.  This is actually a fulfillment of prophetic discourse as clearly seen in various Scriptural passages like Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4; Revelation 11:1-2.  The essence here is that in order for these sections of Scripture to find fulfillment, there has to be a time when Israel controls the Temple Mount in order to rebuild the third Temple that is slated to be built during the Tribulation period.

Since Israel controls (on paper) the Temple Mount, it is clear that one day, a new Temple will be built. The Bible does not tell us how or under what circumstances it will be built.  It simply states that one day during the Tribulation, the Antichrist will walk into the newly built Temple and desecrate it just Antiochus Epiphanes did in 168 B.C. when he slaughtered a pig on the Jewish altar within the Holy of Holies.  Jesus Himself refers to this event in Matthew 24 when He speaks about the end of the age.

The point here is that in war, land is often taken and it is simply understood to be part of the spoils of war.  In the 1967 unprovoked attack on Israel, both Syria and Egypt thought they knew what they were doing and thought that they would go in and hammer Israel on a day when they knew Israel would not be able to fight back.  What these two countries did not count on was Israel not only winning, but eventually taking land from both of these attackers.  Since that time, Israel has controlled these areas.

However, that’s not been the end of the story, because just like our fictitious criminal at the beginning of this post, both Syria and Egypt started crying about the fact that Israel “stole” their land.  Never mind that had Syria and Egypt been victorious and had fulfilled their goal of taking Israeli land, no amount of crying on Israel’s part would have mattered.

Yet, since the end of the 1967 war, not only Syria and Egypt, but other Middle Eastern countries as well have been lining up badmouthing Israel and demanding that she return was she “took.”  Now, we have a president who is once again, siding with terrorists and just today, called on Israel to return to her pre-1967 borders.  That means that Mr. Obama is calling Israel out and demanding that she return the land she “stole” from both Syria and Egypt.

Mr. Obama continues to refer to Israel’s “occupation” of West Bank settlements as though this was somehow illegal.  Is all fair in love and war or not?  Not to Mr. Obama and plenty of other people who have absolutely no real clue of the history of the Middle East.  They prefer to focus on what they believe to be the callousness of Israel and the alleged human rights violations, instead of understanding that there is not one country in existence today that is free of these charges.  Even our own president turned against his country by claiming that there are many human rights violations in this country, in his submitted report to the U.N.  Not sure what he was trying to accomplish there, except out himself as the progressive (socialist) he truly is as he supports illegal immigration over the rights of actual citizens of the United States.

Be that as it may, Mr. Obama is once again showing the world how he thinks.  He actually thinks that what Syria and Egypt did in 1967 should receive a pass.  So when these two countries attacked and killed or wounded just under 5,000 Israelis in the unprovoked attack, that was okay?  What is interesting though is that little Israel gained the upper hand and all told, “Between 9,800 and 15,000 Egyptian soldiers were listed as killed, wounded or missing in action. An additional 4,338 Egyptian soldiers were captured. Jordanian losses were estimated to be as high as 6,000 though Gawrych cites a number of some 700 killed in action with another 2,500 wounded. An additional 533 Jordanians were captured. The Syrians were estimated to have sustained some 1,000 killed in action. 367 Syrians were capture.” [1]

So I guess the 1967 Six-Day War when Israel was attacked on the Sabbath means nothing to anyone?  The fact that Syria and Egypt banded together to attack Israel and then cried when Israel not only beat them, but took their land is a reason to feel sorry for the two attackers?

That’s like being attacked in your home and when you beat the crap out of your attacker, YOU get arrested for defending yourself!

Once again, Mr. Obama proves whose side he is on and too often, he seems to side with terrorists.  But goodness, to criticize him equates to being racist, so I’d better not say that, even if it is the truth that he sides with Muslims and others who want nothing more than to see Israel completely out of the Middle East.

This errant idea that if Israel will simply give the terrorist countries what they want, there will be peace is absurd.  It doesn’t work like that no more than giving into a bully will placate him and make him leave you alone.  All he’ll do is want MORE.

Thank you, Mr. Obama for showing the world what you really think.  You went out of your way to give bin Laden a Muslim funeral (though I cannot imagine that the world would have given Hitler a Catholic funeral), you have sided against Israel every step of the way, and I pray that in the next election, God completely overrules you, and ousts you from office.  This world, much less the United States, cannot take another four years of your growing Absolute imperialism.

Why Should We Believe Them? A Coming Earthquake and Israel Rejects Obama’s Call for Reduction in Borders

I have spent some of my freetime reading the Bible. I see now what you mean. When the Bible says that the universe was created in 7 days, the 7 days can be thousands of years, as later revealed by Peter. I apologize for misinterpreting it.
In my mind, I had looked back to what Peter said about time (also proves Einstein’s theory of relativity). But when God says that the Jews are his chosen people, there was nothing to change his statement. He knows what will happen before it happens. He knew what he wanted to happen and he never deviated from it. There is only one true way to interpret the Bible. Thanks for clearing this out for me.
Thank you for the offer on your marvelous books, but I do not have that much time to read. I have not yet read the whole Bible. I am afraid that the books might just catch dust on my bookshelf. You are right that although I go to a Roman Catholic Church every Sunday, I do not have the right to call myself Christian until I completely read the Bible. I am newly converted. I hope that I do not offend you by turning down your offer on the books.

Actually Sharif, the Hebrew used in Genesis is quite specific. Each day is a 24-hour period, not one thousand years. Peter is not at all referring to the Creation in Genesis. You are still misinterpreting it.

Sharif, I believe you are still misunderstanding me. Being a Christian has nothing to do with reading the whole Bible. It has everything to do with being “born again” or being “born from above” as Jesus states in John 3 to Nicodemus. Paul states in Romans 10:9-10 that becoming a Christian is based solely on faith in who Jesus is and what He accomplished for humanity.

My wife was born into Roman Catholicism and spent her entire life there until a few years before she met me. She finally realized that Roman Catholicism is built on a salvation that they believe is attained through faith AND works. This is not biblical. Salvation has nothing to do with our working for it. Salvation is a completely free gift. The thief on the cross had no time to “work” for anything. He simply realized who Jesus was and accepted that truth. It was that truth that changed him and literally set him free, though he died physically a few hours later.

If you will take the time to read Ezekiel 36-39, you will see that what God has chosen to do through the Land of Israel as well as the nation of Israel has EVERYTHING to do with the fact that He is doing it for the sake of His Name! In fact, He clearly states in chapter 36 that though He will restore Israel to their Land, He is NOT doing it for THEM, but for the sake of His holy Name.

I will continue to pray for you Sharif that God will continue to open your eyes to the truth of His salvation and the truth of His Word.

      Write me anytime.

I am a practicing Christian and I am confident that present day Israel is NOT the creation of God. Present day Israel is the batstard child of the United States of America – withouut whose support it would never have existed.

Israel is not a true ally of the United States, but is rather a treacherous scheming enemy of the American people. Here are a couple of examples:

1.) The USS Liberty incident was an attack on a United States Navy technical research ship, USS Liberty, by Israeli fighters and motor torpedo boats, on June 8, 1967, during the Six-Day Arab-Israeli war. The combined air and sea attack killed 34 crew members, wounded 170, and severely damaged the ship. At the time, the ship was in international waters north of the Sinai Peninsula, northwest from the Egyptian city of Arish.

Both Israel and the US government conducted inquiries and issued reports that concluded the attack was a mistake due to Israeli confusion about the identity of the USS Liberty.

Survivors, in addition to some US diplomats and intelligence officials involved in the incident CONTINUE TO DISPUTE these official findings, saying the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty WAS NOT A MISTAKE. It remains the only major maritime incident in US history not to be investigated by the US Congress.

2.) A report in the March 15, 1992, New York Times revealed the pattern of illegal sales by Israel of U.S. weapon technology. The article revealed that Israel did this by either installing the U.S. components in an Israeli weapon system or disassembling the weapon to discover how it worked and then constructing their own, selling the secret technology to foreign countries, some being hostile to the U.S. interests.

Israel received Patriot missiles worth hundreds of millions of dollars from the United States, and instead of keeping the technology secret, sold the missiles with Patriot technology to other countries, including China, in clear violation of U.S. law. A State Department report accused Israel of engaging, for nearly ten years, in a systematic pattern of reselling cutting-edge U.S. military technology to Third World countries.

Should we, the American people, continue to send our tax dollars to support a country with such comtempt for American lives?????

    • 4. modres  |  May 23, 2011 at 10:13 AM

Johnny, whether you are a “practicing” Christian or not is beside the point. You obviously have difficulty interpreting Scripture, if you in fact, study it in this case at all and it does not appear that this is the case.

Why is your focus SOLELY on Israel as if it makes absolutely NO difference (and it doesn’t) to you that our current administration supports terrorist organizations? Why is it all right for our administration to spend nearly 1 BILLION dollars to rebuild Gaza? Why are our tax dollars going to REBUILD mosques throughout the world? Why are so many of Mr. Obama’s pet project related to Muslims and Arabs, while our country continues to reel under the weight of debt he has created (or at least not curbed)?

Dude, your focus is myopic – completely myopic. You fail to see the big picture because ALL you can see is “Israel is made up of terrorists.”

Harold Camping was just as confident as YOU are (regarding Israel) that the world was going to end on May 21st and it did not because he had no clue either. Now apparently, he’s “flabbergasted.” He shouldn’t be because there were so many holes in his reasoning, it is beyond pitiful.

Being confident of something does NOT mean you are CORRECT. It simply means you thoroughly believe what you believe. You are looking at Israel through the world’s eyes and NOT ONCE, have you pointed out any Scripture to support your specious claims. That says it all. If you knew ANYTHING about the book of Ezekiel, you would clearly understand that God has regathered Israel in UNBELIEF and He is getting ready to deal with Israel directly. I would strongly suggest that you take the time to read Ezekiel chapters 36 – 39 as just one source that outlines Israel in these days as we approach the time of Jesus’ return (and no, I have no idea when that will be).

Previously, I said we are done with this conversation. With this post, we are, however, if you are actually interested in my opinion in the fullest, then send me your physical address and I will be happy to send you a copy of my book “Anti-Zionism’s Vitriolic Allegations” completely free of charge. I do not make this offer thinking that it will change your mind (it won’t). I make the offer so that you can more fully understand my position. I do not want to continue to debate, Johnny, as debates are absolutely pointless. Have you ever seen ANYONE change his/her opinion following any type of debate? I never have. Jesus never debated. He stated.

If you want a copy of my book, e-mail me at If you do not want a copy, that’s fine too. In either case, we are not going to continue to the debate. I’m in the middle of writing two more books. I just don’t have time to school you on how wrong you are and even if I had the time, you wouldn’t listen anyway. I’m not trying to be rude, Johnny. I’m simply pointing out the obvious truth. None of us change our minds easily and it is usually only done when God Himself opens our eyes.

I am not done learning about God’s Word and how He works among the world today. I will be learning more about that until the day I die. The reality is that when we approach His Word, we need to do so with the greatest humility because it is HIS Word we are dealing with and to make a mistake there may create huge problems. Just look at Harold Camping and all the difficulties in many people’s live he has caused.

PS – I do not see how you can trust NYT, Washington Post or any of those liberal rags. IF Israel controlled the press as you and others believe, why is there so much passionate sympathy for Arabs and “Palestinians”?

Finally, it does NOT matter what you think about today’s Jew in the Middle East. What you are failing to understand is that God sees ISRAEL – the NATION – and He has a plan for that nation. Whether or not Jews alive today are part of that picture is another matter entirely. Read Romans 9-11. Just as God routinely had to exercise judgment against many of the rebels within the NATION of Israel, He will do so today. He NEVER destroyed the NATION of Israel – ever! He has kept it alive and He has also always kept for Himself a remnant. That remnant today is part of the authentic Church. However, when the Church is gone, there are Jew who WILL become believers (cf. Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21). THESE will be the remnant of the future.

God is NOT done with the nation of Israel and it is clear from Scripture that it is because of HIS plans and purposes, that Israel has been regathered in unbelief. He is getting ready to go mano-a-mano with them (“with an outstretched arm and wrath poured out”).

The promises given to Abraham were NEVER rescinded and what you need to ask yourself is if you are actually opposing God now with your attitude. You say you are a Christian yet I have not heard you ONCE say that you are interested in evangelizing the Jews who do not know Jesus. In fact, I have not heard you say that about the Palestinians either. I have advocated BOTH from here.

Stop looking at the Middle East through the world’s eyes and OPEN the Bible to learn God’s perspective. It may surprise you greatly if you ask Him to open your eyes about the situation.

  • 5. Sharif Hammad  |  May 21, 2011 at 4:33 PM

I do not see the Jews as God’s chosen people. I believe that we all have access to the kingdom of God if we had been holy to God. Being Jewish does not mean having a spot reserved in the kingdom of God. God chose Israel because they “are a people holy to the LORD God. The LORD God has chosen [them] out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession” (Deuteronomy 7:6). God chose Abraham to establish a nation through which “all families of the earth would be blessed.” Israel was the first nation to actually hear God through Christ, Abraham, etc.

EVERYONE is God’s chosen people, not just the Jews. God chooses you if you are good. If you are bad, he still wants you to come back to him. He would never leave you to stray in the wrong path to be eaten by wolves. This is my take on the Bible I may be wrong for it can be interpreted in many different ways.

As to Palestine, the Palestinians are driven out of their homes by force. This is UNJUST. Innocent people rounded up like cattle and driven out of their homes. This is comparable to the Indian Removal Act of 1830 by President Andrew Jackson. This is manifest destiny all over again.

The situation also escalated because of the Hammurabi’s code, which is condoned in Islam. Muslims retaliated with violence, something that “makes the world go blind” (Gandhi). Islam is just a flawed religion in many ways.

I have to admit that I converted to Christianity. I agree with most of your opinions except for Jews being God’s favorite. I think that your articles are very intelligent. I have been reading them often and I learned alot from them. The only thing I disagree with is the Jews being God’s favorite. God is perfect and the idea of racial favoritism is imperfect. God is not a racist; he treats everyone equally. God Bless!

    • 6. modres  |  May 21, 2011 at 5:00 PM

Sharif, it’s quite obvious that you do not see the Jews as God’s chosen people.

You fail to understand God’s purposes in CREATING the nation of Israel, which is the ONLY nation He ever actually created. From the Jews came the Messiah, Jesus Christ. This Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, died on the cross, and rose again. I’m quite aware of what your Muhammad has said about the subject, but then again, he came on the scene some 600 years AFTER Jesus’ life and the Bible had been canonized. The Bible was written ultimately by God, using over 40 human authors and stretched over a period of 1,600 years. The Qur’an on the other hand, was written based on the life of one man, over a period of roughly 50 years.

Yes, God DID use Abraham to establish a nation through which all families of the earth would be blessed and that occurred with the birth of Jesus Christ because it is through Him and ONLY Him that salvation is made available to ALL people. This does NOT negate the fact that the Jews WERE/ARE God’s chosen people because He CHOSE that nation to be the light to the world through Jesus Christ.

The Bible says that everything I do that I consider to be GOOD is garbage. In other words, because my life is tainted with sin from birth, there is NOTHING I can do that God will see as good. The only way to have my sin removed is through faith in Jesus Christ. Once I believe in the atonement, HIS righteousness replaces MINE. You are still working under your own power. In fact, Islam teaches that salvation MUST be earned, just like every other religion. Christianity is the only one that teaches that Jesus did it all – He paid the price.

If God had NOT created the nation of Israel, Jesus the Messiah would NOT have been born. Had He not been born, salvation would not be available. The apostle Paul tells us that we owe a debt to the Jews because it is THROUGH them that salvation comes to humanity. You reject that – that’s up to you.

I quite realize that being Jewish does not make a person automatically saved. That’s clear from the book of Romans alone. When Is say that the Jews are God’s chosen people, I do not mean what you think I mean (read on). God chose Israel BECAUSE He had a plan, not because they themselves were already holy. Moses was considered holy, but many within Israel were rebels and the nation constantly needed purging. Thousands died through God’s judgment on Israel repeatedly over time. They were called for a purpose that they often rejected.

This does NOT minimize or mitigate God’s promises to the “nation” of Israel. When I refer to the “nation” of Israel, I am referring to the REMNANT that God has always kept for Himself. Moreover, the Land of Israel is God’s Land. It is not to be divided by men at the whim of some UN council or anything else. The reality is that God’s purposes WILL be accomplished in the Middle East. There is coming a time when the Antichrist will step out onto the world’s stage and he WILL be able to make peace with Jews and Gentiles, but it will be short lived. This is all clearly laid out in Daniel, Ezekiel, Revelation, Matthew, and other books besides. I have written any number of books and commentaries on this subject.

When you say you “converted to Christianity,” I would love to know what that means. God does not choose a people based on RACE. He chose a people based on His own eternal council of the Godhead. Of course, God is not a racist, but it is also true that He chooses some while others are rejected. Have you not read these parts of the Scriptures?

Sharif, I truly hope that you ARE a Christian, but I would really like to know what makes you think you are. Christianity is not something someone simply “practices.” A person can be a Buddhist one day and a Hindu the next because all that means is following one particular set of principles or rules.

Christianity is FAR deeper than that. It is – as Jesus said in John 3 – being BORN AGAIN or BORN from above. This is the rebirth that everyone needs to go through in order for salvation to be REAL. I would be happy to send you some of my books free of charge that fully explain this. I’m not trying to judge you or second guess you. I’m concerned because I meet so many people who say they are Christian but when push comes to shove, it is something they merely “put on” like a coat, as opposed to experiencing the rebirth of John 3.

Please e-mail me your physical address and I will send you books completely free of charge – no strings attached at all (

You are ignorant and confused about many things regarding Israel:
1.) The oppressive occupiers of Israel and surrounding Palestinian lands are not the rightful owners of said lands. They are illegal “squatters” and land thieves. The Colonial and Imperialistic British of 1948 had no internationally recognized legitimate land title to Palestine. Therefore, no legitimate title to Palestinian lands could be passed on to the Zionist Ashkenazi Jews who now lay claim to these lands. The greater international community does not recognize Israel’s claim to “statehood.” Only the USA with its corrupt congress and politically “connected” Jewish Lobby, and a few other assorted nations, recognize such complete nonsense.
2.) People who disagree with the concept of present day “Israel” and her illegal borders are not “racists” or “anti-Semitic.” Individuals have a right to disagree without being labeled “devils” or “evil doers.”
3.) The Jews occupying Israel are Ashkenazi Jews from Spain, Portugal and other parts of Europe; and are also descendents of the ancient Khazar tribes. These “Ashkenazi Jews” are not the biblical Jews of Jesus’ time. They are a totally different people.
4.) Present day Israel is not now and has never been the Ashkenazi Jewish “homeland.” This is a myth perpetrated by the Jews to curry sympathy for their illegal and brutally oppressive occupation of Palestinian lands and sub-human mistreatment of Christians and Muslims who live there.
5.) The word “Jew” is a fairly new word invented in the 1800s. The “Jews” of biblical times were actually a tribe of people called “Pharisees.” They practiced Pharisaism, not Judaism. Jesus was not a “Jew” by either race or culture. He was not a supporter of Pharisaism, as he often spoke out about his displeasure with their practices – proof that the Jews of today are not “Gods’ Chosen people!”
6.) There are no real “Semites” alive on the planet Earth. Any claims of “anti-Semitism” by the Jews or by others are therefore bogus and without merit under any and all circumstances.
7.) The 1967 War was started by Israel; not Egypt or Syria. Our American News Media is owned and controlled by the Ashkenazi Jews and is bias and corrupt. Our public is continually bombarded with biased and untrue political propaganda about how the Jews in Israel are always the “innocent victims.” According to our news media; every time Palestinian men, women, and children are slaughtered, it is in self-defense. This is totally absurd and is a big lie! Our news media are “traitors” to the American people and should be ashamed!
8.) The Israeli “Mossad” are the World’s most ruthless terrorists; bar none. They wrote the book on terrorism and sanctioned assignations.
9.) Israel’s interests and our interests in the USA are dissimilar; not the same.

    • 8. modres  |  May 21, 2011 at 4:44 PM

No, I’m neither ignorant or confused. In fact, I have responded to every one of your illegitimate claims in a book I previously wrote a few years back called “Anti-Zionism’s Vitriolic Allegations.” I have no interest or intention of reposting the 176 pages of it here.

It absolutely AMAZES me how folks like yourself think. I’m sure you fully believe that the Protocols of Zion are real, accurate, and legitimate of the Jews’ desire to dominate the world. With that in mind, it is impossible to carry on any sensible mode of discourse with you.

Regarding your second statement, tell that to the “left” because if I criticize Mr. Obama, I am automatically seen as racist by some. The reality is that there is a general air of anti-Semitism in this world. It is what guided Hitler (and even Luther toward the end of his life), along with many other tyrants and dictators. The idea that you believe what you believe is pathetic. Your 9 statements are extremely incorrect. Did you get this information from The Urantia Book? I’ve been studying that book for some time and it is a joke – nearly 2,100 pages of fact mixed with fable!

Your 9 statements are nothing more than collective mythology. It is difficult to take you seriously with some of your statements (like #5). Give me a break, please. This is sad that you actually believe your statements not only have merit, but contain truth.

One would think that if the media was controlled/owned by “Ashkenazi Jews,” they would have done a far better job of positioning the Jewish people in a much better light. Unfortunately, if that was the case, the plan has backfired since a majority of people think as you do. Majority does not always equate to being correct. It is a fact that the Pharisees did not rise until the time between the testaments and died out around the 3rd to 4th century. They’ve recently been resurrected and Israel now has in place the Sanhedrin once again after centuries of absence.

You know, frankly, I would be embarrassed to pass off what you’re saying as truth. It would be far better for you to keep your mouth closed than to say the kind of things you are saying with a straight face. In that case, discerning people will simply hear what you have to say and it will be nothing more than confirmation that you are a complete idiot.

You’ve had your say. I think we’re done here, Johnny. Take your falsified and conspiratorial information and go to one of the many forums that believe as you believe. Knock yourself out with that.

  • 9. Sharif Hammad  |  May 20, 2011 at 1:20 PM

There will only be peace in the middle east if Palestine was given their land back. Israel stole Palestinian land with the help of the British. The palestinians were driven out of their homes by the Jews without giving them any sort of compensation. Right now, they are second class citizens in their own land. I hope this will be resolved peacefully.

    • 10. modres  |  May 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM

Exactly. The Palestinians do not want Israel in the Middle East at all.

By the way, decades ago, ANYONE who lived in Palestine – whether Jew or Gentile – was called a Palestinian. It was only after Yassar Arafat came in did he set it up so that the world began to see Palestinians as Arabs only. What a coup.

Way back in 1947, the U.N. was working on an Israeli-Arab two-state plan. It wasn’t Britain at all, but the U.N. The partition was approved by a 2/3 votes, with 33 for and 13 against.

When Israelis first came BACK to the Land (in fulfillment of various sections of Ezekiel), there was NO ONE living there except Bedouins. It was only AFTER the Arabs saw what the Jews were able to do to the land (it began flowing with “milk and honey”) that they decided they wanted it.

As far as Arabs being second class citizens, give me a break. Maybe we should discuss how Jews are treated by Arabs? Maybe we should discuss how Jews have been and continue to be treated by the world? Maybe we discuss the rising tide of anti-Semitism.

It will not be settled peacefully, because neither Arabs or Muslims WANT peace with Israel at all. What they want is an invisible Israel. Jews are routinely arrested when they step on the Temple Mount if they “move their lips” because appears as though they are praying. Arabs constantly pelt Jews (and even visiting Christians) with rocks at times if they try to go to the Temple Mount.

The state of Israel was born in May of 1948. The entire Middle East is composed of ARAB/MUSLIM/ISLAMIC countries, yet the “Palestinians” who are not a specific people group, do not have a unique language or culture are NOT happy with that. They want Israeli land too.

Give it up, Sharif. Israel is entitled to land. When Israel endured an unproked attack from Syria and Egyptian forces in 1967, both Syria and Egypt had every intention of TAKING Israeli land. That plan failed and when Ezekiel 38-39 occurs, with what is referred to as the “Northern Invasion,” it will fail again.

People of this world do not get it. It has little to do with JEWS and everything to do with GOD because it is HIS Land and He will do with it what He wants to do with it. In fact, He has already TOLD us what He is going to do with it and so far, He has not been wrong. People like yourself though do not place any value in the Bible because you don’t think it’s true. Take some time and do the research.

While you’re whining about how Israel allegedly treated “Palestinians,” let’s chat about how the Arabs have treated the “other” Palestinians – the Jews who were living in the same areas of Arabs when Yassar Arafat came to power.

Regarding East Jerusalem, the Jews have a claim on the Temple Mount which Arabs deny. In fact, the Arabs are busy digging UNDER the Temple Mount and destroying ancient artifacts that prove Israel was there long before Arabs came to the Land. The Arabs are also busy building another mosque UNDER the Temple Mount, which is also against current laws.

The Jews were in the Land long, LONG before Arabs and WAY before Islamists. In fact, if you research the Old Testament carefully, you’ll see that everything God did from Abraham at least, was done in the area that became known as Jerusalem/Israel. Abraham took his son Isaac (not Ishmael) to Mt. Moriah. Centuries later, Jesus was sacrified via crucifixion on this same Mt. There are a ton of events which call attention to the fact that the nation of Israel had that Land before Arabs did. The reason – according to the Old Testament; cf. Deuteronomy 18) that God used Israel to drive out the nations of the Promised Land was due solely to their idolatry.

When Israel succumbed to the same temptation, God chastised them by chasing them out of the Land, but then ALWAYS returning them to it later on and judging the nation that God used to chastise Israel.

You do NOT want to mess with the Apple of God’s Eye. Deuteronomy 32: 9-10 says “For the Lord’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.”

Please notice that God is speaking of JACOB here and the people who came directly from Jacob’s loins, which were his twelve sons, who formed the nation of Israel. Ishmael is not even in the picture here, Sharif.

Sorry, I don’t feel sorry for the Arabs. They have made their own problems and somehow have managed to get much of the world to side with them. That tide will turn though.

We can’t relive the past or even find the truth there, maybe. I don’t believe that all is fair in love and war. Neither do I believe we should stand with our country…right or wrong. I want my actions based on TRUTH alone. Could Isreal keep all the sacred sites and give the Palestinines different unused land? If….and only if the surronding countries promise to live and let live in peace. War has never brought lasting peace. War always creates further division. How can one man Obama speak for our whole country? His position is to see to it that the laws of our land are administered. He position is not to make up laws or be a dictator.

Charlotte, you say we can’t relive the past, yet that is exactly what Mr. Obama wants Israel to do. Beyond this, you say that there can be peace in the Middle East if the surrounding countries promise to live and let live in peace. Therein lies the problem since it has been clear repeatedly that the Arab countries do NOT want Israel to exist in the Middle East. When you have that type of mentality, it does not matter HOW you try to gain peace, because the Arab/Muslim side of things will NOT discuss peace with Israel. It’s a sham. They are putting on a show for the world.

If you actually believe that peace can be obtained in the Middle East and that the countries surrounding Israel are INTERESTED in peace, then I’m afraid you are a bit naive, Charlotte. I don’t say that to offend. I say it as a matter of fact.

The Zionist Israeli Soldiers and government officials are state sanctioned political practictioners of murder, terrorism and apartheid. How can the Israelis expect to be treated with respect by the same people they degrade and murder?

This author of this story presents us with a”revisionist faity tale” that is not based on the facts. Israel started the war with it’s neighbors, invading Syria and Egypt without provocation!

But, more impoprtant than the 1967 war itself; what happened after the war ended?

In violation of international law, Israel has confiscated over 52 percent of the land in the West Bank and 30 percent of the Gaza Strip for military use or for settlement by Jewish civilians…From 1967 to 1982, Israel’s military government demolished 1,338 Palestinian homes on the West Bank. Over this period, more than 300,000 Palestinians were detained without trial for various periods by Israeli security forces.

Make no mistake about it, these Israeli Zionists are neither a “religious people” (97% do not practice any religion); nor are they the Biblical Israelites of Jesus’ time. They are not the “chosen people of God” returning to their promised homelandand; nor are they “semites.”

The author of this farce would have us believe that it is okay to steal from your neighbors and keep your ill gotton gains as long as you were supposedly attacked first.” What absolute nonsense!!!!

You know, you are the one who has done a fair amount of revising history. Beyond that, your anti-Semitism is clearly in view here, which I would suggest guides your beliefs.

I’d like to know how you actually came to believe that Israel ATTACKED Syria and Egypt. Where did you actually get your information? It seems clear from every other source that Israel was attacked on the Sabbath BY Syria and Egypt, yet you dispute that. Since THEY were attacked, how is that Israel violated international law in taking land? Do you think for a moment that both Syria and Egypt would have NOT taken land, or did they attack Israel because they wanted to have a picnic?

I beg to differ with you on your spurious attempt to interpret Scripture. The blessing/curse that God told Abraham in Genesis 12, 15, and 17 has NEVER been rescinded. The Jews STILL represent God’s people and the Land they sit on is STILL God’s Land. Whether or not they are “religious” or not has nothing to do with the picture. God will deal with wayward Jews, just like He will deal with all people who toss Israel under the bus and trample His promises.

It really is a tragic shame when people like yourself approach Scripture as you do. You hold Israel to a far higher ideal than you do any other country, as if you are blind to the many times Israel rebelled against God, He kicked them out of the Land, then ALWAYS brought them back.

It should bother you that anti-Semitism is at an all-time high and it is growing. That fact alone should be a red flag to you, but instead, it simply convinces you further that Israel is wrong.

How far BACK do you want to go? The United States is a little more than 200 years old. Gee, shouldn’t we give all the land we “stole” back to the Native Americans? How about that?

Or maybe Spain should apologize to Mexico. Maybe Islam should apologize to the world.

Your line of thinking is so patently naive, it’s really pitiful, but it is also becoming the norm that people think as you do, in spite of the facts to the contrary.

You think the Arabs are beyond impugnity? Think again. The problem is that you are focusing on Israel so much, that you see no violations of any other country. Wake up to the reality and actual historical facts. I have hard, cold research dating back to way before 1932. What do you have?

You people are as unbelievable as your messiah, Mr. Obama.
