In Talks with the Taliban, and Other Gaffes by Team Obama
Okay, it has become completely clear that we have morons in Washington, DC. Since WHEN can we actually trust terrorists? Isn’t that like paying the ransom to the kidnapper? Apparently, the folks in our nation’s capitol believe they can be trusted and to this end, they have begun general yet informal talks to bring about peace.
This is so upside down, that it is pitiful. The truth of the matter is that once the U.S. pulls out of Afghanistan, I pity the people – especially the women – who will come under Taliban rule. I realize we cannot stay there forever, but does Team Obama actually believe that by entering into some type of peace talks, the problems of a radical Islamic government will be solved?
I don’t think that Team Obama wants to see it solved, at least in the way many of us believe it should be solved (through Democracy). I believe that Team Obama simply wants to cater to radical Islam (in this case, the Taliban) so that they will see Mr. Obama (not necessarily the U.S. as a whole) in a favorable light.
I also think that this is going to backfire severely for Mr. Obama, just as a number of other things are starting to cave in on themselves. Let’s see, we have the fact that Mr. Obama is just back from Puerto Rico, where leaders down there have not seemed to fall under Mr. Obama’s “spell” as our own citizens did in 2008. To them, it appears as though his quick “walk through” of their country was an obvious political move to garner votes from Hispanic communities in this country. The truth is that this is most likely exactly what it was because it was that obvious.
Meanwhile, Michelle is off again on another solo trip, this time to Africa. Maybe she wants to visit Barack’s home town, who knows?
And have you heard about Howard Dean’s tirade this past weekend at some liberal fest? It seems the Tea Party’s values are not the values of America. I would agree to an extent, because liberals have become more obnoxious and more aggressive in shouting down conservatives.
Also this past weekend, conservative Andrew Breitbart attended a different liberal festival and was hounded by one particular liberal who seemed bent on having a one-sided conversation with himself. The most asinine part of it happened when Breitbart finally left in disgust (with his security) while the same liberal lout followed him up the elevator yelling “COWARD! COWARD! COWARD!” repeatedly. Apparently, the liberal lefthead did not see what was actually going on. He failed to understand that a CONSERVATIVE had actually gone to a liberal convention and yet, the liberal was calling Breitbart a coward. Does that make sense to you?
By the way, I’m not defending Breitbart. I know that at least some of his reporting has been questionable. The point I’m trying to make is that this is simply another example of how liberals make little to no sense.
On that same note, Jon Stewart denied to Chris Wallace that the New York Times is truly motivated by left-wing principles and beliefs. As O’Reilly pointed out, there are ten times as many liberal editorials and commentators at the NYT than those who are conservative.
As we have begun to see – especially with folks like Howard Dean – the battle lines have been drawn and liberals (along with the apparently non-existent militant left-wing media) is going to come out in force in every possible attempt to gain the upper hand in the next election. Who can blame them? They have a lot to lose, if Barack Obama (or is it Barry Soetero?) does not come out as victor.
We saw what conservatives were able to accomplish with the mid-term elections this past year and if that keeps up in the next election, then there will be more changes. This of course, has liberals shaking in their shoes. What could happen is that people like George Soros may wind up throwing all their millions down the drain in their attempt to help Mr. Obama remain in office.
We have seen GOOGLE allegedly giving special privileges with respect to a new advertising program at Google, though this is denied by reps at Google. There are some issues that apparently remained shrouded in a bit of mystery. Of course, there are the normal vehement denials by reps at Google and at the Obama re-election campaign headquarters. I don’t have time or inclination to dish on the all the details. Interested parties can check out the facts of the matter by clicking on the link below. [1]
The problem is that – as I have said many times before – this particular administration has really gone off the beaten path. Under Mr. Obama’s leadership, we have seen major policy changes in our nation’s foreign policy as well as policies that affect us within our borders. Yet, the information that comes out of Washington seems all too unreal to believe. In a statement made recently to Jewish leaders, Mr. Obama claimed that he has done more to keep Israel’s borders safe than any other president or official in the past twenty-five years (my paraphrase). Well, then I guess I have my facts all mixed up because it has certainly looked to me that everything Mr. Obama has done has been to destroy Israel’s security, not enforce or strengthen it, including his most recent demand that Israel go back to pre-1967 borders with the Israelis and Palestinians agreeing on how to divide up the Land. Yeah, that’ll work. I can see Israel trying to work with individuals who want nothing less than to destroy Israel. Sure Mr. Obama, you have really tried to beef up Israel’s security. It’s quite obvious.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the only reason Mr. Obama is trying to push to get our military out of Afghanistan so quickly (he will decide by Wednesday, apparently), is because election 2012 is looming. He wants to be able to say that he got our military out of Afghanistan, like he said he would. Will he say anything about the fact that he got us INTO the Libyan debacle?
God is still in control. I don’t see all the ins and outs, the whys and wherefores, but God is in control. He moves in His own way and in His own time. Whether Mr. Obama remains in office is something yet to be seen.
It just seems to me that the house of cards this administration has built is starting to come down. Unless God has other plans, it cannot happen soon enough as far as I’m concerned. Out with the bad, in with the good.
