Why the World Caters to Islam…

Money.  It has to be money.  Good ol’ greenbacks.  Most in the world do nothing unless they are motivated to do it and what better motivation than money?  For most people, there is no better motivation.  Certainly money is one reason Islam prospers.

If you stop to consider the FACT that Islam is backed by some extremely wealthy foreign individuals and groups, it makes sense that Islam’s rise in America is based on the fact that this foreign money is pouring into the United States on a near non-stop basis.

How else could groups like CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) exist?  Huge amounts of money are being poured into their coffers because there are too many Muslims who believe that Democracy, free speech, and all that goes with it needs to be eradicated.

There is another reason as well.  It is a built-in bias AGAINST Christianity.  Anything that knocks it.  Anything that removes Jesus from the meaning of Christianity is what the world wants to praise and emulate.

There is a growing sentiment within Christendom (not Christianity, but in the worldwide group of visible churches and organizations we call Christendom) that seeks to equate Allah with the God of the Bible.  It is routine, as if there is absolutely no difference between the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the god of Islam (stemming from Ishmael).  It is clear – from a biblical viewpoint – that not all of Abraham’s descendents honored Abraham’s God.  It is quite clear, in fact.

Yet in spite of this, too many who call themselves Christian and evangelical, cast off the idea that these two entities are completely different.  The truth is found not only in the lifestyle of each religion’s founder – Jesus and Muhammad – but also in what they both taught.

If we compare Christianity with Islam, it is exceedingly easy to determine that there is next to nothing that is similar.  Islam is built on violence, while Christianity is built on love.  Jesus lived a perfect life, died a painful death, and rose again.  Jesus willingly submitted Himself to those who desired to kill Him.  He did not resist and fulfilled Scripture throughout the process.

Muhammad lived for himself and lived a life by the sword, killing as many Jews (and others) as possible.  In fact, during a time in his life when it seemed that he was intent on wiping out as many Jews as he could, the Qur’anic sayings of that time reflect his hatred for Jews in general.

It is difficult to understand how people can be so blind to the reality that is Islam, yet we are told through the apostle Paul that God would send a delusion so that they will believe the lie (cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:11).  Paul is speaking here of the end times – the times in which we are now living.  He notes that people during this time will not want to hear the truth, but would prefer lies because they are far more palatable.  The truth often brings with it the need to repent.  Lies do not.

The most frustrating thing is that there are too many people who see absolutely no threat with respect to Islam and this is in spite of what Islam has managed to accomplish throughout many parts of the world.  Leaders routinely turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the complaints against Islam.  It is as if they have taken common senses and locked it away in a safe somewhere.  They have become very good at acting deaf and blind.

Even when we have people like Michael Youssef – who knows a great deal about Islam, having grown up under a social dictatorship – writes about Islam from personal experience, people refuse to believe him.  Others like Dinesh D’Souza, Wafa Sultan, Brigette Gabriel, and Pamela Geller are routinely either disbelieved outright or slandered because of their knowledge concerning Islam.

Just today, I received an email from a woman who chided me for my lack of understanding where Islam is concerned.  Apparently, Islam provided driver’s licenses for women, gave them the right to vote, and other freedoms before many other ideologies!  Who would have thunk it, based on the way women are routinely treated in Islamic countries today?

Daily we here of the atrocities and excesses of Islam, yet people continue to ignore it, or attempt to shift blame onto Christianity.  How about this 47-year old man whose marriage to an EIGHT-YEAR old girl was upheld by a Saudi judge?

What kind of a marriage could that possibly be?  The little girl’s entire life is before her but she is already effectively dead because she has been forced to marry a man nearly six times as old as she is!  But someone will come along and point out what happened in the Old Testament CENTURIES ago as if that has ANY bearing on life TODAY.

What happened in the Old Testament occurred because God’s plan was to eradicate idolators from the Land that He intended to give to the nation of Israel.  God knew of course, that the law of entropy would work against His nation, just as an apple left to itself will eventually rot.  It does not get better.

God knew that those in His Land were worshiping other gods, gods that had no power, but were getting all the credit for everything.  He wanted them gone and He had (and still has) the right to do what He sees fit.  His directions were to eradicate all people from the Land because they had all defiled it.  Unfortunately, Israel chose to let some live and because of that, had problems for centuries.  In fact, the reason they have problems now is due in part to the fact that they allowed certain groups to live.

Another reason they have problems today is due solely to the fact that Ishmael’s descendents are of Arab descent.  Ishmael was not the child of promise, though Islam teaches that he was, and not Isaac.  Ishmael was the result of Abraham’s union with Hagar, Sarah’s handmaiden.  Instead of waiting for God to fulfill His promise about the coming promised son His way, Sarah suggested to Abraham that he “help” God out by lying with Hagar.  This he did and nothing has been the same since.  Had Abraham not chosen to listen to his wife and refused to take a short cut to the fulfillment of God’s promise, the situation in the Middle East would look far different today from what exists now.

Had Ishmael not been born, neither would the nation of Arabs been born.  With no Arabs, there would be no nations of Arabs surrounding Israel now, nor would there be a group of Arabs claiming to somehow be culturally and ethnically different from all other Arabs (the Palestinians) demanding their own state.  They have no right to a separate state because they are merely ARABS and Arabs already have Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Iran, Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Turkey, and many other nations in that area including Saudi Arabia.  How many nations do Arabs need?

And speaking of those Arab nations, one of them – Pakistan – has just outlawed the use of certain words while texting on a cell phone.  The words include:

• rectum
• breast
• Jesus Christ
• back door
• harder
• idiot
• Budweiser
• athlete’s foot
• flatulence

I can see wanting people to use better decorum and suggesting they not use words like the above (except for Jesus Christ).  At the same time, this is what Islam does.  It removes freedoms under the guise of religious sanctions that are designed to bring about the next caliphate (Islamic rule over the world).

But one of the biggest things that Islam wants to do is to make criticism of Islam a crime; specifically a hate-crime.  This would be accomplished through legislation of course and it already exists in the United Kingdom where people who criticize or – God forbid – denounce Islam will go to jail!  This is absurd and only proves that Islam has something to be afraid of that it has to create laws making it illegal to critically analyze Islam.  What is to become of freedom of speech?  If Islam has its way, free speech will go the way of the dinosaur.

No such laws would be enacted to protect Christianity though.  The idea that people should stop speaking harshly of something they hate – like Christianity – would be seen as the most gestapo-like tactics, yet it is fine for laws to be put into effect that would make it illegal to do the same with Islam.  The reason?  It is said that Islam is so misunderstood, therefore people need to stop with the knee-jerk reactions that often come through lack of knowledge.

That might be fine if was the truth, but it is not the truth.  There have been too many books and articles written by people who have left Islam, or who have witnessed the atrocities of Islam to say that these people have no clue about the subject of Islam.

Islam will one day wear out its welcome, but I wonder how much more we will see before it does?  How much tighter will the noose grow around the neck of the average person before people rebel en masse?

Many people reject Christianity because it is too “confining.”  Like seat belts, people want to avoid Christianity because it makes them – they say – feel guilty.  No, it is not Christianity that makes people feel guilty.  Authentic Christianity is freeing.  People learn that they can actually be freed from the judgment that will befall all people who continue to live their lives as if God does not exist.  They learn that though they can do nothing to alleviate their guilt, they learn that Someone else has and that Someone is Jesus Christ.

Muhammad has done nothing for anyone.  His entire life was lived to serve and please himself.  He did what he wanted, killed whom he wished, and an entire ideology was born because someone thought he was important.  Muhammad’s life was built on hatred, anger, and greed.

It would be like celebrating the life of Jim Jones, or David Koresh, or any number of false prophets who claimed to be something they were not.  Matthew 24:5 says “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”  Muhammad was one of them.  He came as a type of Christ and in fact, offered himself to the Jews as their messiah.  When they balked, he killed them.

On the other hand, when Jesus offered Himself as Messiah on the day He rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, while He was initially accepted by the people of Israel, He was ultimately rejected by the leaders of Israel.  Instead of killing them, Jesus submitted Himself to them and they killed Him.

Anyone who believes that the God of Abraham is the same as the god Allah is not only mistaken, but I have to question their own Christianity.  Do they not understand the gospel as presented by Jesus?  Do they not see how many prophecies He personally fulfilled?  Which prophecies did Muhammad fulfill?  None.

Islam claims far more than it is able to prove and this is why it wants to shut people up, taking away their right to criticize it.  Islam believes it will one day rule the entire world and there are too many people in this world who seem to think that either this is merely a flight of fancy on Islam’s part and that it could not really happen, or they are here to help them make it happen.

There are really only two sides to this entire dilemma.  Either you are for Islam and against freedom, or you are for freedom and against Islam.  There are no other sides; no other alternatives.  Sorry, but that’s the truth, whether you like it or not.
