How Does the Christian Actively Love?

Here’s the problem though, as far as I can tell. Most people when they think of what it means to be a Christian, they think in terms of a list. That list comprises things that a person is allowed to do and that same list highlights things that a Christian is not supposed to do. It’s natural to think in those terms.

Apparently It’s Not Safe to Wear a “Romney” T-Shirt to School

You would think with the number of situations that have evolved directly due to teacher emotional abuse, other teachers throughout America would learn to shut their mouths when it comes to politics. Unfortunately, this seems not to be the case.

Does Obama Believe There is No God But Allah?

Why would anyone – who declares himself to be a Christian – wear a ring (or any jewelry) that depicts the first part of the Shahada, which is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam? The Shahada declares “There is no god but Allah (and Muhammad is his prophet).” It is distinctly Islamic in origin and anyone who would wear a piece of jewelry with this inscription on it surely must believe himself/herself to be associated with Islam. Authentic Christians know that Islam is not compatible in any way, shape, or form with Christianity. Unlike what some believe, it is not the same god that Christians and Muslims worship. The two are not even close. There is no commonality between the two. Muhammad came roughly 600 years after Jesus but decided that he knew the “truth” about Him, telling us that Jesus never really died on the cross. According to Islam, Muhammad is greater than Jesus. How can these two religious ideologies have anything in common?

The Less-Than-Civil Left…

It tends to boggle my mind that those on the Left can do what they do and say what they say without any real remonstrations from the media. But then again, as most are aware, there IS a media bias and it is in favor of Mr. Obama. That much we know and it has been proven repeatedly that it is hardly worth discussing. It simply goes without saying. We all know that most of the problems associated with the Obama Administration have been all but swept under the rug. He appears to be untouchable in so many ways.

Ellen G. White IS Seventh-day Adventism

By far, the most oft-repeated comment I receive from current Sevent-day Adventists has to do with the admission from them that even though they are part of the Seventh-day Adventism sect, they do not (emphasis on “not”) necessarily follow the teachings of Ellen G. White. Let me try to keep this short and succinct even though this is a very broad subject.

The Left and their Lies…

Does FOX News lie? The stories that I have personally checked that have been broadcast on the network have checked out. Does this mean they never stretch the truth? I’m sure they stretch the truth from time to time, especially if it’s a show like O’Reilly or Hannity. These guys are not so much news anchors, but political pundits and stretching the truth seems to go with the territory. This is why they have people with opposing viewpoints on their shows who discuss various aspects of a talking point. The end result is that the viewer needs to decide whether or not what they are hearing is truth or bluster.

It All Comes Down to This…

It is obvious to most of us that people in general want to be successful. For some, that means becoming a CEO of a major Fortune 500 company. For others, it means being the best educator around. Still for others, being in a highly-acclaimed rock band means success. Whether a person simply wants to excel in their chosen career path, or whether they see themselves as a star of stage and screen, people in general want the success that often comes with arriving at the apex in their chosen area of expertise.

Big Bang Theory Taping

Because of a friend we know rather high up in Warner Bros., we were able to obtain VIP tickets to see a live taping of one of our favorite shows, The Big Bang Theory since the show is taped at Warner Bros. even though it is aired on CBS. We were delighted and this past Tuesday, October we sat in a studio audience watching them film an episode called “The Extract Obliteration.”

Romney Was Aggressor

It was interesting to see a somewhat defensive Mr. Obama attempt to outsmart Romney. It really didn’t work. In the days before the 2008 election, Mr. Obama was cocky, created to be that way by a media that had fallen in love with him. He had no real record and had not been proven yet. He had everything to gain and nothing to lose.

Standing Line at Coldstone’s…

While standing in line waiting to be served at a Coldstone in Downey, CA tonight, a young seemingly intelligent, geeky-looking couple (that is not an intended insult) in front of us was animatedly discussing politics, tonight’s debate, and the upcoming election.
