Moving Toward Peace and Safety Ultimately Means Destruction, Part 1

It is impossible for the world to have one huge global system of governance without proper surveillance measures in place throughout. It’s not for our safety though, but for the convenience and safety of the elite.
The other day, I wrote an article highlighting my concerns regarding the recent terrorist attacks in Paris. I noted how I believe that this is part of the ultimate con game; using ISIS (Daesh) to bring about the needed regime changes that the elite need to complete. Of course, what they fail to realize is that this is all going according to God’s plans. In essence, He is the One who allows or controls the outcome of these events for His purposes and glory, though certainly those within the evil cabal known as the elite likely believe it’s all their doing. The Bible gives us many examples of how God uses human beings – both good and bad – to bring about His purposes.
One of my favorite examples of this because it is so direct and clear is found in Ezekiel 38 – 39, with the Northern Invasion. There, we learn that a person known only by his title – Gog – will be directed by God to do something that he (Gog) wants to do. In fact, Gog will conclude that the idea to besiege and attack Israel is completely his idea! However, we learn in the passage that it is God who directs Gog by putting “hooks in his jaw” and bending Gog to His (God’s) will.
I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. 5 Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you, (Ezekiel 38:4-6).
Note the first part of that section, “I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out…” That is God speaking to Gog. God is declaring what He is going to do. We constantly try to figure out free will and election and it is impossible for us to do so because we are finite creatures, incapable of fully comprehending God’s ways and how these things work together. But even though we just read that God is going to direct the actions of Gog, just a few verses later, we learn a bit of how God is going to direct Gog yet Gog will believe that the idea to attack Israel is actually his and his alone.
On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. 11 You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages…” (Ezekiel 38:10b-11)
On the very day that God needs/wants Gog to attack Israel, “thoughts will come into” his mind. Gog will see these thoughts and believe them to be his own thoughts. He will act on them, but in reality, it is God who sent the thoughts and it will be God directing Gog’s steps in this matter. Is God forcing Gog to do this thing? No, God simply sends the thoughts and Gog, because of who he is, simply goes with it.
This is the way the elite work. While they fully believe they are doing what they want to do to achieve what they want to achieve, it is God who directs things from start to finish. How could He be God and not have it this way? Yet, as far as the elite are concerned, they fully believe that they are in charge of things. It’s always interesting how human beings ultimately do what God wants done, either willingly or without even knowing that this is exactly what they’re doing.
Since the recent Paris terrorist attacks – as I noted in my previous article on that subject – leaders around the world are calling for more surveillance tools. Though two high-placed individuals got on mainstream news channels to decry the fact that they believe if surveillance agencies had more ability to do what they needed to do to find every piece of “chatter” available to them, attacks like the ones that just occurred in Paris would be a thing of the past. So the push is on for the world to grow into maturity and let our elected officials and government agencies do all it can to keep us “safe.”
However, it’s not just government officials like a congressman or the ex-Assistant Director of the FBI calling for such legalization of blanket surveillance. Others like NYC Chief of Police William Bratton, along with CIA Director John Brennan using the Paris tragedies to plead the case for greater surveillance measures. Bratton stated that the Parisian attacks created a “new paradigm” and in order to do their jobs well, law enforcement is going to need more and better tools.
CIA Director John Brennan took it a bit further, essentially placing the blame for these recent terrorist attacks on people who want to ensure their own privacy.
The truth seems to be that while one might argue that had the government and law enforcement agencies had more freedom to simply gather as much information as possible on anything they believe might be connected to a potential terrorist attack, the question should always be asked whether or not the government can be trusted to delete the information that it does not need? That of course, comes down to a level of trust.
But my point is that seems to be how things are played by the elite. We’ve talked about the Hegelian Dialectic before on numerous occasions and we’ve seen it at work. Regarding the Parisian terrorist attacks, we are essentially forced to believe that no government surveillance agency had any clue about the upcoming attacks. Either that or they did not have enough information to determine where and when terrorist attacks would occur. In either case, I find that incredibly difficult to swallow. Then again, people like Snowden might be complete liars? Each of us will have to decide that one.
Nonetheless, whether true or not, certainly the government and law enforcement agencies seem very much interested in at least telling us that they are willing to do whatever they can to keep us safe. However, in order to do that adequately, they need more freedom to do the type of surveillance they feel they need to do. That will result in fewer freedoms and less privacy for the average individual. Incredibly, many to most will go along with it because they want and expect the government to keep them safe. In reality, that’s not the government’s job, but too many believe that it is so that is the point from which they operate.
As we continue along this path, we will see more of our freedoms removed all in the name of “peace and safety.” The problem though is that this peace and safety will be very short-lived, if at all. The Bible clearly tells us that when people are saying “peace and safety,” it’s going to be anything but that.
We’ll continue with part two of this article next up.
