The Ups and Downs of Israel in Judges
Whose fault is this? Why did this new generation of Israelites grow up without knowing about God Himself or the things that He had done for Israel?! It is solely because parents did not instruct their children in this. If parents did not pass this wonderful information onto their children, how would the children have known? They couldn’t possibly know. This also tells us how lax the nation of Israel had become regarding the Law of God and the sacrifices. It appears there was a large vacuum where God was concerned in the very nation He created.
Joshua Calls Israelites on Failure to Obey
As Christians, we have something the Israelites did not have. We have the Holy Spirit living within us. He seals us unto the day of redemption and nothing can break that seal, not even our puny “free will” (Ephesians 4:30). God the Holy Spirit also empowers us to live a life whereby our words, thoughts, and actions bring great glory to God. Would you agree with me that even with the Holy Spirit within us, it is often difficult to live the life that God requires? Yet, we must persevere. As Paul says, we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). Of course, Paul is not saying we must work for our salvation. He is saying we must work or cooperate with God as His character is being formed in us in this life. The results of our salvation are what need to work out in and through us. It is a process called sanctification that must happen for each and every Christian.
Transhumanism on the Rise
On one hand, it’s always good when science can truly discover things that help us to live a bit longer and in better health. That’s a good thing. The idea of being able to live forever in this life is asinine. We’re not meant to do that because in our fallen state, we would simply go from bad to worse…forever without dying. I cannot imagine that state. God stopped that from happening after removing Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden and placing angels to guard it to keep them from going back in and eating of the tree of life (Genesis 3).
Q Posts from March 3
Q ends this particular post with “Enjoy the show. Dead cat bounce.” Interesting. First, I’d love to enjoy the show, so hopefully that means that the public will actually see something happening very soon. Q has said that before though, so we will see what happens. The phrase dead cat bounce is actually a phrase connected to the Stock Market. When a company’s shares go into free fall, but then bounce up a bit before completely dying. I guess it actually has its origins in if a cat falls from a very high place, it will bounce instead of landing on its feet alive. The phrase was co-opted for the Stock Market, although Anons are not in complete agreement over Q’s actual use of it though some believe it applies to the MSM (if kept in context of this particular Q post), and it means that the MSM will ultimately “die.” If that happens, maybe we’ll start to see news bureaus that actually report the news instead of what we have now with MSM as the (CIA) “state-sponsored” media.
Joshua 1 and Israel’s Empty Promise of Obedience
The difference between Matthew 7 and 25 is no real difference at all. It’s two sides to the same coin. The only people who will get into heaven are those who exercise faith in Christ and His redemption on our behalf. Those individuals will – to some degree in this life – exhibit works that stem from the faith they have in Jesus. The people who have been playing at religion by doing those things that appear to be good and righteous but do not have the requisite faith in Christ, will not gain access to heaven. It’s really that simple.
Donald Trump, the Bible, and the End Times, Pt 3
One side of the triangle was now gone. With only two sides left, the “triangle” that was cannot stand for long. Most of the world missed the meaning of the sword dance, but compare that to how Mr. Obama was received by the Saudis during his term in office. He was not treated as an equal and in fact, did not express himself as an equal to the Saudis. There was a good reason for that and maybe we’ll get into that in another article.
Behold Your God: Before All Things and Holds All Things Together
There is nothing that exists that Jesus did not originally make. Sure, people have “created” things by taking one thing and marrying it to another thing. But Jesus created “ex nihilo” (Latin), or “out of nothing.” I can “create” a fence or as I’m planning on doing, finish a patio cover, frame in it, and then screen it in. It will be my “creation,” but all I’m really doing is taking wood that someone else processed, nails and screws, and screening to build something that keeps the flies out of our back patio. Ultimately, God made the wood and everything else from which companies take bare resources to make nails, screws, and screening. I don’t really create anything. I simply build it or put it together.
Prophets and Dreamers from Deuteronomy
So we learn that there are two categories of false prophets/dreamers. The first in Deuteronomy 13 is the one whose prophesies come to pass but his intent is to drag people away from the living God to error by worshiping other false gods. The second in Deuteronomy 18 speaks of the false prophet who prophesies falsely – what he declares simply does not come to pass. In both cases, we are to avoid that person. We should “mark” them in our minds – make a strong mental note about them – and warn others as well. If we warn others and they do not heed our warning, it is on them.
Donald Trump, the Bible, and the End Times, Pt 2
In spite of all the good that might be accomplished under Trump that could have long-lasting effects for America and the world, the reality is that whatever Trump is able to accomplish may inadvertently create a strong foundation for the coming world unification. We are talking about a financial reset, a new global currency, the appearance of peace throughout much of the world, and a new day of what many might consider to be their longed-for Utopia.
Behold Your God: The Only Creator
God has bestowed upon us and within us the ability to worship Him, to adore Him, to actively seek Him as we go through our daily lives. In fact, this is one of the main reasons we were created in the first place. This should make us want to know Him better. But if I look at my life, I find that often, I pray for things that I want, or that I think I need, or something else. How often do I take the time to focus on the fact that not only did Jesus create all things, but that He wants me to focus on the fact that He is Creator God?
