Prophecies of Daniel 2, Part 3
It is extremely important to understand that it is in this particular chapter, Daniel 2, that God provided a very broad picture of prophetic content for the earth from that point in human history up to the time of the physical return of Jesus, or His second coming. Based on this, it is easy to understand it was very likely God Himself who prompted Nebuchadnezzar to make such a demand of his wise men as he did. It was essentially God proving Himself and His sovereignty through Nebuchadnezzar to the world. We have seen that time and time again, God’s Word has been proven to be true.
Prophecies of Daniel 1, Part 6
In Daniel 1:8-14, we see Daniel’s desire to remain faithful to God. In Daniel 1:15-16, we see Daniel actually remaining faithful to God. His desire to remain faithful to God carried him through so that in reality, Daniel was faithful. It all starts with our desire. If we want to be or remain faithful to God, that is more than half the battle and wanting to be/remain faithful will help us get there.

Jack Kelly of Grace Thru Faith Goes Home to His Lord
The Book of Job is an example of the difference between Union and Fellowship. Job’s righteousness made him proud, a sin in God’s eyes. When Satan asked to torment him, God had to agree in spite of the fact that Job was one of the most righteous men on Earth, because he hadn’t confessed his sin. As long as Job relied on his own righteousness he was vulnerable to attack, and none of his complaints could change that, even though he remained a child of God. When he confessed, God put a stop to the torment and restored him. The lesson Job learned through his ordeal (and that we’re supposed to learn as well according to Romans 15:4) is that when we justify ourselves, we condemn God. Whenever we start thinking that we don’t deserve something bad that’s happening to us, we in effect accuse God of being unjust. It’s part of our human nature to look outside of ourselves for the blame, but it delays our reconciliation with God.
Why Are You Interested in Studies of End Times?
The goal of studying anything related to the end times is this: it should cause us to focus on the fact that eternity is always a breath away…for everyone. This fact should create within us a strong desire for one thing. That is, we should become more focused regarding the Great Commission. The thought of eternity, whether it is in Jesus’ return or our going to meet Him in death, should refocus our thinking onto what is right, what is true, and what is worthy as Paul tells us in Philippians 4:8. What is more praiseworthy than focusing on spending eternity with Jesus?
I Will Be Like the Most High, Part 6
Folks, you may be one who needs to find a balance between a Christian’s involvement in the political arena and evangelism. I would hope that you would err on the side of greater evangelism and less on politics. God’s plan is written in stone. It is unchangeable just as His plan to create Israel and bring forth from that nation a Messiah, a Savior was unchangeable. This Savior would make salvation available to all who would come, believing, trusting in the Name that stands alone, rising high above all others, “so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,” (Philippians 2:10).

I Will Be Like the Most High, Part 1
In essence, what we will eventually learn is that while God offering salvation is most definitely something that brings tremendous glory to God, it is not His highest purpose. It is only part of His highest purpose. The overriding higher purpose of God has been to prove the entire universe and every creature within it that this so-called battle between “good” and “evil,” God vs. Satan is no battle at all. Not only that, but it will be forever written into the annals of future history into future eternity that sin was finally exhausted and still, God won. Sin actually will come to an end when Satan will have done everything he can to bring his own paltry, arrogant-driven promises to fruition.
Prophecies of Daniel 11, Part 19
As we learn in Daniel 9:27, peace is brokered by the Antichrist (the first Seal of Revelation 6) and the world celebrates! True peace for at least seven years! However, by the middle of the “week” or final seventh year, Antichrist shows his true face by replicating what Antiochus Epiphanes IV did in 168 BC. At that point, Antichrist will take his seat in the rebuilt Jewish Temple and desecrate it, recreating an “abomination of desolation” that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24. This abomination of desolation will be real, it will be physical, and it will be visible. In fact, it is very likely that seconds after Antichrist goes into the Holy of Holies, that act of defiance will be televised throughout the world and across the Internet. At this point, the Jews who put their faith in him (for peace), will realize what they did and run to the hills, where God will protect that remnant for the final three and a half years of the Tribulation. This is all in the book of Revelation.
Watch Out for Those Who Teach God Speaks to Them, Pt 3
Numerous passages in Scripture teach us that the Holy Spirit indwells true believers (Romans 8:4, Ephesians 1:13b-14). There are a lot of people running around today who call themselves Christians, but unless they are authentic or true believers, the Holy Spirit does not indwell them. If the Holy Spirit indwells us, then we should assume that He exercises His power in and through us as well. His job is to recreate the image of Christ within us (which will not be completed until the day we step through the door of death into eternity). In John 5:17, Jesus asserted the truth that says He and His Father are always working even to the present day. That means that God has things to do and regarding the Church – His Bride – the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (or Him). This means that in spite of Satan’s best efforts – which includes getting Christians to live in unbelief – God will get the job done!
Heresies Overtaking Churches Today, Pt 4
The NAR seeks to move people even further away from any connection with Christianity by shoving the Great Commission out of the way and replacing it with a form of socialized concern for people in society. Therefore, in this scenario, people who attend church (or not) and are seen actively helping people in society (the poor, the disenfranchised, etc.), and doing what they can to fight against the forces of globalism by wanting to “take back America” are seen as Christian, whether they are or are not.
Why Do We Tend to Automatically Believe Beings from Other Dimensions? Pt 1
To simply believe that all entities in other dimensions are filled with integrity is to believe that all people in this realm are also all filled with integrity. It doesn’t work like that. But here’s the biggest problem. Unless you are woken up to the possibility that at least some of these spiritual entities are not concerned about you and want to rob you of the opportunity to receive salvation, you will likely continue to believe that they are all good and want nothing but the best for you. Not only is there no proof for that belief, but you cannot even prove it to yourself! In spite of that, you choose to believe about these spiritual entities what you would never believe about another human being!
