Truth Suppression
It is becoming very difficult to be a Christian in today’s society because of the way the world suppresses the truth in many areas. Authentic Christians are caught in the crosshairs largely because God and the Bible are caught in the crosshairs. We are coming to a time when I can see churches which believe and follow the absolute truth of Scripture will become smaller and smaller. It would not surprise me frankly, if many of the Christians within these churches resort to meeting in people’s homes, not for the purpose of starting what they hope will be a huge church, but because truth will become so difficult to find in too many churches. Those churches will be interested in pleasing the crowd and in so doing, will become part of the group that suppresses truth.
About Those Open and Closed Doors…
Remember that while we don’t have access to God’s sovereign will for individual decisions, He has clearly revealed his moral will to us and has promised to give us wisdom if we ask. So as long as you aren’t violating his moral will, then ask for wisdom, read the Bible, talk to wise people, consider your personal preferences (i.e., don’t be a martyr) and then choose with freedom.
Vexing of Our Souls?
What are we Christians doing today? Sure, many of us are fighting the good fight of patriotism. We support President Trump and want what is best for the United States of America. Other Christians in foreign nations are trying to do the same thing.
But shouldn’t we also be using our frustration, vexation and feeling provoked within to bring the Gospel message to the masses who so desperately need it? Shouldn’t this be our reaction to the deep-seated hatred emanating from the godless Left?
No One Considers Eternity…
Death comes to everyone of us. It’s going to happen. Think about all those celebrities of yesteryear from Hollywood’s Golden Years. People literally worshiped those people but in the end, regardless of their fame, wealth and power, they could not avoid the great equalizer: death. Celebrities continue to die today. Look at the shows you may have grown up with and ask how many of those actors are still alive now? Death is no respecter of persons. It comes for everyone regardless of rank in life.

Strength to Strength or Emotion to Emotion?
You may feel great one moment, then eat something that doesn’t settle with you and all of a sudden, you’re feeling yucky. Is God speaking to you or is it just your food? This happens to me because of my food allergies/sensitivities. If I used those feelings to determine God’s will while praying about something, I would literally end up being “tossed to and fro” not only by every wind of doctrine, but by every feeling that I feel.

Update on Insanity in Texas
Gird your loins, folks. This is the devil’s playground and God allows it because of the plans He has for this world. One day, Jesus will physically return and deal with the evil directly. It won’t be pretty for anyone who stands with Satan.
As the World Turns…
So what can we do? Well, clearly, we must continue praying, right? We can never set that aside. God hears our prayers. We must, as we pray, be willing to let God be God. By that I mean that we must not insist on what we want based on what we think is the right path. We must give God room to do what He will do especially when we do not understand what His will might be.

Actually living the Christian life is a must, but how? Is this one of the big reasons God sends trials and difficulties our way?
Health Updates
I know the Lord has a plan. He has a response. I’m not sure what the end result will be but I know that I need to trust Him for His advocacy on my behalf and to work in and through me to ensure that His will, not mine is accomplished. Will you join me in that prayer? I would welcome that.

If you have not noticed, Christians are being persecuted mightily. Even those who are not Christian but are conservative and patriotic are finding it difficult to carry on conversations around Leftists who don’t want to hear anything except their particular political bias. They want to shut us down.
