Common Core and Privacy Issues

I’ll say right up front that I have not made up my mind completely one way or another with respect to Common Core. I’m still reading and researching. At the same time, I know that many have come out against it and are vehement in their resistance to Common Core. They have their reasons.

Politically Correct Problems with the United Nations

The UN wants to accomplish a number of things. It wants an International Criminal Court established in The Hague. They would have the power to arrest and charge anyone in the world and even have the power to remove constitutional rights from Americans. In essence, the UN sees this criminal court as higher than America’s Constitution. America would lose her sovereignty to the UN.

Obama’s Mounting Troubles

It has to be admitted that things are not looking good for Obama and while people like Julian Bond prefer to simply blame it all on racism, the actual truth may be found elsewhere. Benghazi is putting information into the minds of Americans that the administration would certainly like to have kept locked up. Something is obviously wrong when left-leaning networks like MSNBC, NBC, ABC, and even CNN start reporting the facts about Benghazi.

How Leftist Ideology is Destroying America

Many do not realize the full impact that political correctness has had and continues to have on society as a whole. It is often thought that we must simply be careful what we say so as not to offend others. Certainly, that is a worthwhile endeavor, but political correctness when taken to its logical conclusion does far more harm than good.

On Benghazi’s Hot Seat

The daily chatter regarding Benghazi is getting louder, especially now that some actual media sources have joined in and appear to be pushing others off to the side as if they were here all along. One anchor on CNN is now claiming that “the talking points were edited down from the CIA’s original draft to something that was totally untrue.” ABC noted that one word in particular that changed during the talking point revisions has a damaging effect for the White House. A panel discussion on MSNBC of talking point changes prompted pundits to note that the whole thing smacks of a potential impeachment issue.

Social Gospel, Pt. 2

Jesus approached ministry by often meeting the physical needs of people. But He always shared the gospel with them. He fed thousands. He healed the sick. He cared for people tangibly, but He always taught and preached. That is what Christians are called to do.

Benghazi…What is the Truth and Will It Come Out?

Please note that the information is said to be from a 4-Star Admiral by the name of James Lyons alleges some very interesting information that, if true, could be the downfall for the Obama administration. It may also prove once and for all that the media in America became the laptop of special interest groups some time ago.

The Social Gospel

But not long after Rauschenbush came to be deeply concerned for the poor he began writing extensively about ways to help them. One book he wrote in particular – “Christianizing the Social Order” – influenced protestant denominations throughout America. He eventually came to be known as “Father of the Social Gospel in America.”

California Is Going to Take Your Guns…

Someone who is adjudicated “dangerous” because of mental health problems can be problematic. Evan Westrup, a spokesman for the Governor stated, “This bipartisan bill makes our communities safer by giving law enforcement the resources they need to get guns out of the hands of potentially dangerous individuals.”

Netflix, I am So Over You

I recently wrote an article for The Brenner Brief about how Netflix was playing politics by connecting Sarah Palin to the movie “Iron Sky.” My article is titled “Netflix Takes a Tweep Shot at Sarah Palin with #SarahPalinFilms.”
