Liberals Already Attacking Newt
Liberals never take too long to castigate and denigrate someone they don’t like. Only liberals are really “allowed” to tear apart a political candidate or organization that they don’t cotton to, because as far as they’re concerned, they have to do everything they can to make it impossible for someone on the opposite side of the aisle to fail. It’s simply part of the process that leftheads subscribe to.
Newt Gingrich no sooner announced his candidacy to become the Republican presidential nominee, when the liberals and leftheads alike came out from under their proverbial rocks to throw some of those rocks at Newt. It’s all too formulaic and predictable.
The problem of course is that people tend to allow their own personal candidate to say what he wants and not really worry about holding them accountable. That is for the other party, or the opposing candidate. The reality is that I have yet to see or hear of a political candidate that is above board in all areas. No one can be considered without hypocrisy. The left will never say that and will never shine the light on Mr. Obama. To hear the leftheads tell it, this country is in wonderful shape all because of what Mr. Obama has been doing.
Here are just a few examples culled from one of the places where people can post their comments after a news story:
“And the Republican’s as the most successful war mongering party who drained the entire country of all our money. Billion dollars a day on war while the country dove into a depression and millions lost their house and long term jobs. Put that on your resume, now they come back out of the woodwork in 2012 to start over…….”
“Gingrich is a fool, only an idiot would consider him fit for even dogcatcher. But he sure knows how to milk the money machine for his own personal gain.”
“Ah, Newt, such a shining example of your party’s true colors, scandal, adultery, ethics violation, war monger, and against all women’s rights. Yeah, you are a true Georgia peach, just a little over ripe and dried up.”
“Barack Obama is not far left leaning and is not socialist. Truth of the matter is that he is more of a centrist, and the far left don’t think he is liberal enough. Republican/tea party don’t like him because he is black, as Newt’s Civil War comment so eloquently points out. Mr. Obama could be sent from God, and people will find fault with his agenda. But as of yet, the Republicans have not come up with any one I want to vote for. Their group of buffoons is pitiful.”
And so it goes. Many of these comments are simply asinine. Of course, let’s not forget to point out that the individual who made the last comment managed to include a comment about Republicans being “racist.” It plays well in the media.
The idea that Mr. Obama is a centrist is absurd. He is very far left and people understand this, but the leftheads believe if they deny it enough times (like crying racism) it will become the truth.
Has Mr. Obama gotten us OUT of the war yet? As I understand it, he has gotten us INTO areas like Libya and elsewhere. He has okay’d the mission that sent Navy Seals in to kill bin Laden.
What can we expect as time marches on toward the next election? More of the same from the left and rebuttals from the right, etc., etc., ad nauseum. Let me ask this: who in God’s Name would want to run for politics today? It simply means facing one smear campaign after another. The issues are not discussed. They are twisted so that the facts surrounding those issues become clouded with acrimony and castigation. It takes guts to want to run for office today because a candidate no sooner announces his candidacy and if that candidate is on the right, the leftheads and leftwing media move in for the kill, like vultures on the branch overlooking the latest wounded animal.
If the candidate is on the left, that same leftwing media moves into to throw up every possible blockade in order to protect their candidate. That’s the way it is and Newt understands that.
Am I saying I would vote for Newt? At this point, I have not determined anything. I’m simply praying that God will provide a candidate that conservatives can get behind. I’m also praying that God will lead that candidate all the way to the White House so we can be done with Socialism, and get back to what this country was founded on: democracy as a republic of one nation, under God.

Of course, liberals and leftheads continue the mantra that we are better off under the Obama Administration that the Bush Administration. The hard cold facts seem to disagree. Then of course, I guess if you’re one of those individuals who loves debt, enjoys watching the dollar sink, can party while banks fail and all the rest, then obviously, Mr. Obama’s tenure as president is good for you. So what can we expect if Mr. Obama is re-elected? There is no reason to think that the picture would improve. We would have four more years of the same with liberals loving it and continuing to blame Bush for our economic woes.
Just take the last item in the above list: In the last two years we have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our entire nation’s history.. Over 27 times as fast. Metaphorically speaking, if you are driving in the right lane doing 65 MPH and a car rockets past you in the left lane going 27 times faster, it would be doing 1,755 MPH.

Mr. Camping has made these judgments before and was wrong. Now, he has arrived at the May 21st day through a complicated set of math problems (Mr. Camping was an engineer before he began Family Bible Radio). He states that in his attempts to narrow down the date of Jesus’ return before, his math was wrong. Apparently now, his math is correct.

Obama Does “Victory” Laps, But Refuses to Halt Proceedings Against CIA Interogators
Just like a hypocrite, isn’t it? It is clear that the intel that ultimately led us to bin Laden’s hideout was gained because of the waterboarding technique used against three captured terrorist suspects a number of years ago (at least three, prior to the beginning of Mr. Obama’s term as president). Yet, when push comes to shove and even though he said he would not pursue charges against the CIA operatives involved in the waterboarding technique, he now says he will not ask the DOJ to stop their pursuit.
While Mr. Obama has spent the past few days doing victory laps and turning 306s in the parking lot, the CIA operatives who used the waterboarding techniqes against the terrorists have been charged or harassed by the “Justice” Department officials and interestingly enough, many of those individuals were part of the Bush administration.
Back in 2009, Mr. Obama promised that he was not going to go after the CIA operatives who were involved in waterboarding techniques and the Justice Department stated that they would provide legal representation in case anyone else wanted to go after them. [1]
However, numerous CIA employees were subjected to harassment by Eric Holder’s DOJ. “John Yoo and Jay Bybee were put through hell on charges that they sanctioned “enhanced interrogation” tactics. Eric Holder issued a 261 page report claiming that DOJ attorney John Yoo committed “intentional professional misconduct,” when he wrote an opinion for Bush about “enhanced interrogation” techniques,” basically charging that Yoo lied when giving advice to G.W. The DOJ recommended disciplinary action against Yoo from the Pennsylvania Bar in 2009. DOJ attorney David Margolis countermanded the recommended referral in January 2010 – saying he did not find “professional misconduct.”
“From November 2001 to March 2003, attorney Jay Bybee served as Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) in the DOJ. Bybee was asked by the CIA if they could legally, aggressively interrogate high-ranking al-Qaeda members captured outside of the U.S. – attempting to have a definition of the term “torture” in 18 U.S.C.Source.
“Bybee signed that legal memorandum which defined “enhanced interrogation techniques” in ways that are regarded as torture by the Obama Justice Department…Again the DOJ went after Bybee as they have Yoo. Bybee was acquitted and was later confirmed via Bush’s nomination to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Both men are facing war crimes charges in Spain and other European countries. BUT the DOJ is likely still unhappy, but because of these two men, Osama bin Laden is dead.” [2]
Recently, Debra Burlingame approached Mr. Obama at the 9/11 event in which he laid a wreath. She asked him that since the CIA operatives three years ago had really gotten the information (through waterboarding) that ultimately led to the discovery of bin Laden, would he be willing to offer his opinion to Eric Holder to stop any legal proceedings against those operatives.

The reality is that Mr. Obama is playing his own political game and he really plays by his own rules. He doesn’t care about the U.S. Constitution and wants to do only what is in his best interests.
Recently, it has also been reported that Disclosure Act, which did not pass Congress, will be signed into law by Mr. Obama himself, using the “executive order” fiat. For those unaware of what the Disclosure Act is all about, here is a quote that should shine some light on the subject:
[T]he order would require all companies that sign contracts with the federal government to report on the personal political activities of their officers and directors.
The White House claims the EO would make the federal government more transparent. But a quick look at who Obama chose to exempt from the EO shows this is false: unions that sign collective bargaining contracts with the federal government would be exempt from the “disclosure” requirements. The clear intent of this bill is to suppress speech and punish Obama’s enemies.
According to a Congressional Research Service review of Executive Orders over the last 40 years, no White House has ever issued an EO dealing with campaign finance. Signing the DISCLOSE Act EO would be an unprecedented power grab by Obama. Quote Via: The Washington Examiner. I (emphasis added) [3]
The simple reality seems to be that Mr. Obama sees himself as a dictator. If others in government will not make his wishes come true, he’ll find a way to do it without their help. The idea that a president of the United States believes that Congress is neither a help or hindrance to him is nothing short of demagoguery, yet most seem perfectly fine with this attitude he possesses!
My question is…when will Mr. Obama be impeached because these are clearly impeachable offenses. The left believes that if they continue to conjure up false accusations of racism, then people will simply drop it, but that is not the way our Constitution works!
We have three branches of government that act as checks and balances yet Mr. Obama appears to not notice the other branches, unless of course they agree with him. A Federal Judge has ruled against Obamacare, but the White House was quick to say they were moving ahead with it anyway. Can you imagine if you or I did that with something? We’d be hauled into jail.
There is a problem with the man in the White House and it has to do with the fact that he is breaking the law and seemingly getting away with it. We need someone in Congress who would be willing to stand up against Mr. Obama’s dictatorial posture and help him understand that he is not above the law.
Hopefully it will happen sooner than later!
