Society Has Become Seriously Brutish

This is our society. People are very quick to condemn. They are very quick to shout invective and the first swear word that comes to their minds. In lieu of that, they’ll use hand signals.

Wisdom and Foolishness

When you deal with terribly foolish people, sometimes it is simply best to ignore them (v 4). At other times, we cannot allow them to get away with their lies and the best response is one that is factual and unheated (v 5). Let the chips fall where they might. If the person is truly a fool, they may not benefit from the truth you share, but he may start thinking about what you say even if he gives the impression that what you just said makes no sense at all.

Big Tech Attacking Democracy

Right now, Big Tech appears to be attacking America’s Constitutional Republic. Once they are satisfied that they have accomplished what they set out to accomplish, how long before they commit to a full frontal, direct assault on Christians and Christianity?

Notorious False Prophet Says Calling Him a False Prophet Will Invoke God’s Wrath

You can ordinarily watch Mark Taylor blather on with his notoriously wrong prophecies on the television program belonging to the disgraced televangelist, rapist, tax-evader, and felon, Jim Bakker. Taylor is one of the many charismatic prophets, like revivalist and “Holy Ghost Bartender,” Rodney Howard Browne, who have made pro-Trump spiritual prophecies into a cottage industry.

Chem Trails? 5G? What’s It All About?

The possibilities regarding 5G seem limitless at least compared to what exists now (4G). The huge exponential jump from the current 4G (2.4 MGhz) to the coming 5G (60 MGhz) is stark. Regardless of any possible dangers of the coming 5G, it appears to be on its way and there’s little to nothing people can do to successfully curtail it. Even President Trump is completely behind it. He says it’s largely due to the creation of more jobs. Certainly it’ll do that. But at what price? Our loss of health? Our loss of privacy?

Misunderstanding of God in Book of Job

Job trusted God in the beginning. He continued to trust God through the misery that visited him, yet it was a bit touch and go because while Job seemed to have legitimate complaints, in reality, he learned a great deal from what he experienced. God brought him through it and in the process, more of Job’s pride was erased as he learned to accept the fact that God is God alone and His reasons for doing anything are His, whether He chooses to reveal His attentions to us or not.

A Word from the Lord?

This is the big problem with people who believe themselves to have God’s ear wanting them to be counselors to others. The unfortunate part is that the people they counsel often take their counsel as complete truth and endeavor to follow their instructions to a “t” instead of going to Scripture and checking things for themselves.

Stories, Stories, and More Stories…

Folks, as time progresses and we move closer to the time of Jesus’ return, we must remember that He warned us about the false Christs, the false teachers who would lead many astray (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21). Things would be gearing up to see more and more heretics gaining prominence within Christendom. Because of the way people chase after their “felt needs” today, they are tossed about by every wind of doctrine trying to satiate their itching ears.

We Can Learn Lessons from the Kings of Israel

Asa’s life as king is a good lesson for all of us. Is it your supreme desire to follow God, to seek Him and His ways, to live for His glory? Is that your aim? If that is not your aim, you will do what dictates your heart and not bring glory to God. It’s that simple, though when it comes to where the rubber meets the road, it is difficult because our minds tend to wander away and fix themselves on our own felt needs.

Modern Day Prophets vs Old Time Prophets

Let’s look at a real prophet for a moment. The text of 1 Chronicles 17:1-2 explains. King David was saddened by the fact that he lived in a beautiful palace of cedar, while the Ark of the Covenant from God stood under a tent. David bemoaned this fact as it did not appear to be fair to him.
