Unadulterated Truth About Dearborn’s Arab Festival

A while ago, I posted a few blogs about Acts 17 and the events surrounding their incarceration because of radical Muslims in Dearborn, MI.  At the time, I had written to the Mayor (John B. [Jack] O’Reilly, Jr.) with my initial concerns.  He eventually wrote back and “explained” the situation from his perspective.  Of course, according to him, members of Acts 17 did everything wrong and deserved arrest.

Months later, it seems clear that the courts did not agree with our fine mayor and acquitted them on all counts.  Hmmm, wonder what went wrong, Mr. Mayor?  Could it be that you were lying to cover the fact that you were supporting part of your constituency that had large numbers in your area?  Dearborn is an interesting city with a very large (and growing) Muslim population.  Even the Chief of Police appears to be Muslim and, according to Acts 17, has refused to return the group’s cameras in spite of the fact that the courts have determined that the members of Acts 17 are completely innocent.  In other words, they were exonerated, but as far as Haddad is concerned, they are apparently still guilty. (Note:  recently, the cameras were actually returned to the group.)

I would like to publicly apologize to the members of Acts 17 for believing that they may have done something wrong.  From all angles, it appears that they did not do anything wrong, except butt heads with the radical Muslim machine that exists in Dearborn, MI.

I recently wrote another note to Mayor O’Reilly and said the following:

“It is clear that I have been duped.  A while ago – after members of Acts 17 were unlawfully and unconstitutionally harassed and arrested by members of the Dearborn Police, I wrote a letter to you with my complaints and concerns.

“A short while later, I rec’d a letter that had been composed and sent out as a broadcast to the various media and individuals who wrote to offer their concerns.

“I read your letter and took it on faith that what you told me was true, so I took your side and posted it on my blog.

“Unfortunately it has become very clear that you either lied or stretched the truth until it was clearly unrecognizable.

“The situation with Acts 17 vs. the city of Dearborn is unconscionable.  The city and you Mr. Mayor should be ashamed to have allowed radical Muslims and their Shariah Law to do what they do.

“Recently, in Australia, a Muslim woman was pulled over by a police officer.  In Australia, anyone can be pulled over by a police officer who simply wishes to do a random brake check.  Such was the case.

“For the officer, it can be truly said that had he not been using his dash cam, he probably would have lost his job, or been severely reprimanded.  The woman accused him of racism and called him several other names, also claiming that he was in big trouble.  Why?  Because he asked her to remove her veil (burqa) so that he could confirm that she was the individual on her license.  She not only refused, but later accused him of trying to rip her veil off.  She went before the media and even made a formal complaint against the police officer.

“The video verified that none of that happened and in a court of law, she was found guilty and sentenced to six months.  She now says that she did not make the formal complaint, but someone else in a burqa did.

“Other Islamic leaders are decrying the sentence saying that the judge should have used compassion.  However, the woman not only did NOT use compassion, but gladly lied about the actions of the officer and it was only when she was found out that she began to change her story.

“Good luck with Shariah Law in Dearborn.  I’m glad I know this ahead of time so I can avoid your city.

“Americans like you never cease to amaze me.  You think that by catering to special interest groups, they will get what they want and leave you alone.  No, they get what they want and continue to want more.

“Can’t wait until your courts start to use Shariah Law in deciding court cases.  This is of course in spite of the fact that this land is STILL governed by the U.S. Constitution.  That does not seem to matter though, does it?

“Politicians: the ones who tell the truth are few and very far between.
