No Sharia Law in THAT Courtoom…Thank God!

We reported not long ago on a TV exec – Muzzammil Hassan – who killed and beheaded his wife.  Unfortunately, he is Muslim (as was his wife), and it looked too much like an honor killing, instead of the charade that Hassan was trying to pass off to the judge and jury that he was abused by his wife and couldn’t take it anymore.

Truth be told, Hassan’s wife had been abused by him and wanted out of the marriage.  This enraged Hassan who saw this as bringing dishonor into his household.  Never mind that he caused it because of his stupidity, selfishness, and radically Islamic views.

The jury believed Hassan was guilty of murder and the judge awarded Hassan with the harshest possible sentence; 25 years to life!  The fact that this man killed his wife (of whom it is said he was much taller than she), and then tried to blame the victim is incredible.  The fact that if he had done this in some Islamic country somewhere, he would have been found innocent, is also something that is tragic, because it happens daily throughout this world.

Can you imagine if our courts used International or Sharia Law to govern these types of cases?  Judges and/or juries would be forced to find the defendants innocent of all charges.  After all, it would be an honor killing.

I just read yesterday that a young girl, who was raped by her uncle, was beaten to death.  First, the relatives beat her, not the Uncle who raped her.  Then, she was taken before the elders of the village.  They tied her to a stake in the public square and went ahead to give her the 100 lash penalty.

After 81 lashes, the girl passed out.  She was taken to the hospital where she died from her wounds.  Gee, never let it be said that radical Muslims have no heart.  I mean, after all, they did stop beating her when she passed out from the pain.

The uncle?  He vanished because the last time he did this, the elders forced him to marry the girl he raped.  I guess he did not want to marry another girl after raping her, so he fled.

It is unconscionable to me that grown men can act like this and think it is okay.  The reason they believe it is okay is solely due to the Islamic ideology that they have grown up under.  Their brainwashing tells them that women are nothing, merely things to use, abuse and cast away.  Children are seen in the same manner.

Where is the outrage from feminist groups here in the United States?  In fact, I don’t recall any of them saying anything concerning the trial of Hassan.  If they did, I never saw it to read about it.

Fortunately, Hassan was tried and convicted in a court of law under the U.S. Constitution.  In spite of the fact that members of the Muslim community told Hassan’s lawyer to stress that this was not an honor killing, but simply domestic violence, it is clear that Hassan would not have tried to do what he did had he thought he would have been found guilty of murder.  Two of Hassan’s own children testified against him at his trial.

I cannot imagine what it must have been like to live under the authority of this tyrant.  He will go to prison and even though his lawyers will appeal, it is doubtful that Hassan will receive any reduced sentence because of it.

I applaud the judge and jury in this case.  They saw the truth and were not afraid to uphold the rule of law so that a radical Muslim, who thought nothing of killing his wife (stabbing her over 40 times and then beheading her), would receive the correct punishment for his heinous crime.

Islam goes too far and if you do not believe me, I would encourage you to read the Qur’an for yourself.  When you have done that, start reading some of the Hadith as well.  There are too many ignorant people in America who do not see what is happening in the rest of the world, wherever Islam attempts to take control of a population.

Why people continue to place their heads in the sand can only be explained by the fear they must feel at not knowing what to do or how to address the situation.  It requires strength and a willingness to look terror in the face.  Few seem willing to do that.  They are wrong though if they believe it will go away all by itself.  Unfortunately, for these people, when terror overtakes them, it will be far too late for them to do anything about it.
