Defunding NPR and Mr. Obama’s Views

It’s funny, isn’t it?  NPR’s Ron Schiller is caught stating the truth that NPR can live without government funding and that NPR would actually be better off without it.  In spite of that, the Obama Administration is continuing on its course to continue with funding for NPR. 

This of course, is no surprise.  If you consider it, Mr. Obama has dutifully done gone against the grain of logic, common sense, and the overwhelming majority of the people.  Why?  Because he cares only for what motivates him personally.  He has an agenda and he wants that brought to fruition.

Since gaining the highest office of the land, he has worked hard to spend the Untied States into financial crisis and yet every time a real crisis happens in the world, he promises more support from the U.S.  Please don’t get me wrong.  I am not opposed to true humanitarian efforts that this country can and should be involved in for the relief other nations are suffering, especially with respect to Japan right now.

What I am fully opposed to is the wasted spending on non-essentials (like helping to rebuild mosques) that do nothing except deplete our Federal Reserve.  These expenditures continue seemingly unabated.

I get the impression that if NPR was caught in illegal money-laundering, the administration would still want to continue funding them.  We have the serious situations with ACORN and other organizations allegedly connected with terror, who have been caught in sting operations showing their illegal activities, yet they continue to enjoy non-profit status.

Do you get the impression that at least sometimes, it seems as though our current administration is simply saying to us something along the lines of “Up yours.  We will do what we want to do and use your taxpayer dollars to do it!”

NPR should be defunded because there is no reason in this day and age that any news bureau should have public funding.  It speaks to the issue of bias.  Of course, we know all too well that all news media outlets have absolutely no bias anyway, correct?
