Why Does Mr. Obama Pander to Terrorists?

He said, “No.” Any photos of deader than a doornail Osama bin Laden in the White House’s possession will not be released to the public. Mr. Obama is very concerned apparently about offending Muslim sensibilities. This is of course in spite of the fact that he seems to have absolutely no problem with offending the sensibilities of Christians.

Quick to declare not long ago that America is no longer a Christian nation, canceled the White House’s involvement in the National Day of Prayer (while he ran off to pray with 50,000 Muslims instead), and has done any number of things that cause Christians everywhere to roll their eyes and sigh. It doesn’t matter to Mr. Obama though because generally speaking, Christians do not go grab a weapon and threaten to kill someone because they are offended. Muslims do. However, is that the reason Mr. Obama is being so careful with the Muslim world? I don’t think so.

I believe the main reason Mr. Obama treats Muslims with kid gloves is simply because he is one, but refuses to admit it. His heart goes out to the Islamic community. This is his chance as president to turn the tide and make it far more easy for Islam to make in roads into the United States and Israel.

If you consider it, we saw images of people falling and jumping off the WTC during the 9/11 situation. We saw pictures of body parts from people who died in that event. We saw the videos of planes flying directly into the trade towers repeatedly ad nauseam for weeks on end. I don’t recall anyone saying that we should cut back on that due to the sensibilities of friends and family who were left after their loved ones were taken in such a brutal act of mass murder.

I recall watching the planes fly into the WTC and my stomach turned because I realized that shortly after the second of impact, people – real people – died. Poof! Gone into the next life!

Yet, our military kills bin Laden, and then spends 45 minutes in an Islamic ceremony before sliding his lifeless corpse into the ocean. In spite of this, while moderate Muslims tell us that was a good thing to do according to the Qur’an, radicals say different. They say that bin Laden did not receive a proper burial. So whom did the Obama Administration placate? Apparently, only moderate Muslims, who in general, are not radicals and therefore are not interested in killing “infidels.”

The point seems obvious. The Obama Administration spends way too much time trying to suck up to radical Muslims in the hopes that they will at least see him as a true Muslim. I’m not sure if Mr. Obama cares whether or not they leave the U.S. alone or not, just so that he is accepted as a true Muslim spirit.

So after deliberation, Mr. Obama decides that he will not release the death photos of bin Laden. One can only surmise that in spite of the fact that the U.S. taxpayers paid for the military action (as well as Mr. Obama’s salary and the salaries of everyone else involved), we’re not entitled to be given proof or closure. We’re supposed to take Mr. Obama’s word for it.

This is the same man who has deliberately lied on countless occasions, but we are supposed to forget those lies. It is the same man who has done any number of about faces when it comes to policy. Is is the same man who is up a point in the polls one day and down five the next.

In short, Mr. Obama treats the American people like we are babies and morons. It is clear that this is exactly how he thinks of us. During the Iraq engagement, we saw detailed photos of Saddam’s sons after they had been killed. Did the world implode because of it?

Osama bin Laden is dead, according to reports coming out of the White House. Reuters has released a photo of one of the men in the compound with bin Laden in death pose. It’s not pretty, but it is obviously not fake either (though anymore it’s difficult to tell).

Mr. Obama’s decision to not release pictures (or possibly even video of bin Laden’s burial at sea) seems more like the makings of a father who is attempting to deal with his recalcitrant child (U.S. citizens) and simply opts to say “no” because he can.

However, one must wonder if he will eventually give in for another reason. Muslims in Pakistan are gathering and demanding to see proof of bin Laden’s death. Will Mr. Obama cave into their demands? If he does, I can see that he would release them to him, but still not release them to Americans. If those pictures wind up on the ‘Net (and they would if released at all), everyone will see them. Of course, Mr. Obama will still not be credited with releasing them to Americans, but only to radical Muslims who demand what Americans are demanding.

It is during times like these when Mr. Obama’s ego comes to the fore. He knows he has the authority to simply say “no” and will do it on a whim if he feels like it. Yesterday, CIA Director Panetta said the photos would be released. A statement from the White House shortly thereafter negating that claim.

Can you imagine what a meeting between these two would have looked and sounded like? There’s Mr. Obama, feet up on the desk in the Oval Office, arms either folded across his chest, or hands interlocked behind his head. Across from his sits Leon Panetta. As Panetta explained why he believed the photos should be released, Mr. Obama simply stared expressionless, listening. In the end, Mr. Obama may have thanked Panetta for offering his “input,” then later on decided to go his own route.

I wonder if Mr. Obama said “no” because Panetta had the mendacity to jump the gun? If would follow then that if the photos were released, it would look as if Panetta was calling the shots, not Mr. Obama. Like Hollywood, everything in politics is wrapped up in how things appear.

I can easily see Mr. Obama putting his foot down to let everyone know that he’s the boss. He makes the decisions. Anyone who jumps the gun will be put in their place in no uncertain terms.

Narcissism is a funny thing. It often causes people to make decisions not based on intelligence, but based on their feelings about something. If Mr. Obama feels that Panetta got the one-up on him by announcing that the photos would be released, what better way to put Panetta in his place and remind the world (once again) that the dictator-in-chief is in charge and the world should never forget that.

Actually, that’s not even true, because like celebrities in Hollywood, behind every successful actor/musician/celebrity lies a host of people who helped make that person who they are and just as quickly as they got them there, they can remove that mantle of fame. Mr. Obama is no different. He has “handlers” and those handlers will only give him so much play in the leash because they have to jerk it back, reminding him of the fact that they, not he are really in charge.

The bigger question here though is this: why does it matter to the Obama Administration whether or not radical Muslims ever come around to “liking” us? The answer: it doesn’t. Mr. Obama simply wants to make sure they like him. After all, unlike the people who put Mr. Obama in office, in more ways than one, Muslims are likely his people, not us.

This would explain why he has recently decided to release “up to 2,000 photographs of alleged abuse at American prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan in a move which will reignite the scandal surrounding Abu Ghraib prison in 2004.

“The decision to make public the images sought in a legal action by the American Civil Liberties Union comes amid a political firestorm over alleged torture of detainees under President George W. Bush.

“Some of the photographs, which will be released before May 28, are said to show American service personnel humiliating prisoners, according to officials.

“The images relate to more than 400 separate cases involving alleged prisoner abuse between 2001 and 2005.” [1]

My goodness. So it’s okay to release 2,000 images of prisoner abuse from Abu Ghraib because it involved Muslims being mistreated and is a black mark (no pun intended) on America. But when we capture and kill the most wanted man in the world, it somehow isn’t prudent to release a photo(s) of a man that directly caused the deaths of nearly 3,000 people?

That’s okay. I take no offense at that. The only think I am offended at is the fact that Mr. Obama wants to pretend that he has my best interests at heart when in point of fact, he could care less about my interests, needs, or wants. One more reason why this man might find himself being ousted after only one-term as president.

I am an immigrant myself but I am NOT an illegal alien. I came to this country legally. My family and I waited 20 years to get to this country. Illegal immigrants offend me as they step on my rights. Whenever I go to the grocery store I always find them buying the most gourmet stuff while using foodstamps. I also always find them using their Medicaid in ER’s. In highschool, they barely know any English and so our educators have to teach them English via special workshop classes. They take advantage of our taxes. My dad (also a legal immigrant) also got his job stolen by an illegal alien! According to JFK, “it is not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.” What has illegal immigrants done for our country? NOTHING! Let us get things straight here my friends, AMERICA WAS BUILT BY LEGAL ALIENS, NOT BY ILLEGAL ALIENS!

As a devout Christian, I believe that Obama is doing a CRAPPY job in his oval office. His policies go against traditional Christian values. For example: his support for the Gay agenda. If we allow “marriage” among homosexuals, there would be more homosexuals. We all know that homosexuals spread diseases. They harm their own body. Sodomy is a sin.
“All things are lawful for me’ but not all things are helpful. ‘All things are lawful for me,’ but I will not be enslaved by anything. ‘Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food’ — and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I therefore take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! Do you not know that he who joins himself to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, ‘the two shall become one.’ But he who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. Shun immorality. Every other sin which a man commits is outside the body; but the immoral man sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you… ? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body” (Corinthians 6: 12-20). I do not hate nor care about homosexuals as long as they keep their hands to themselves. Homosexuality is learned behavior, it is not something that we are born with. I have heard many stories of molested children turning into homosexuals after they got raped. If same-sex marriage becomes legal, consider our rights once again violated.

Obama also supports Islam. We all know that Islam is evil. Men wont be able to bomb themselves and take people with them on their own. They need the support of Satan to commit such grisly acts. They do not tolerate other belief systems other than Islam. Sure there are moderates but what have they done so far to stop their ‘Muslim brothers?’ They even call us ‘people of the book.’ Also he supports the terrorist organization called Muslim Brotherhood. Obama is also known to attack the Bible many times. I have reason to believe that he is the antichrist. Hitler gradually trampled on the rights of Jews before the imposing the holocaust. Let us just hope that Obama gets booted out of his oval office. What else can we expect with an antichrist president?

Actually, Australia is doing a great job if you chose to do a little research and as an immigration lawyer (with experience in both Aus and the UK) I can talk about this with some authority. When our conservative Prime Minister John Howard (who I supported) was in power, he instituted the ‘Pacific Solution’ (wikipedia it) which created special off-shore immigration detention centres. Our illegal immigration (which is largely Islamic in origin) dropped to zero. Our left-wing current Prime Minister (who I do not support) repealed these laws and then the numbr of Muslim Boat People sky-rocketed again. However, she has now just anounced the reintroduction of off-shore detention facilities in Papau New Guinea (read the front page of the Australian Newspaper (our equiv to FOX and owned by Rupert Murdoch, who is after all an Australian). We don’t have millions of illegal Hispanics or muslims in our country like the US and the UK. We get a lot of criticism from the UN and others but we don’t care. You could learn a thing or too from us.

P.S. I may not be American, but as the quesiton was a stragetic-military-political blog about Obama releasing photos of bin Laden’s death, and given that will impact the War on Terror, where Australian soldiers will be affected (including some of my personal friends in Afghanistan, given I use to be an Aus Army Officer), and given Aus is the US’s number #2 ally after Britain (or didn’t you know that), I think I have just as much right to weigh in on the issue.

  Actually, that’s not my understanding at all, Simon, and I HAVE done the research. I also have friends who live there. I’m not talking about illegal immigration. I’m talking about the encroachment of Islam in Australia. While you may not have millions of illegal aliens in your country, you have a HUGE problem with Muslims and Sharia.
  
  You may THINK you have as much right as anyone to weigh in on the situation regarding the Osama bin Laden situation, but in truth, as if affects the United States, you don’t. The problem is that Mr. Obama tries WAY too hard to pander to Muslims. Whether he DOES or does NOT release photos of bin Laden will have NO affect on Al-Qaeda’s or any other terrorist group’s decision to create more problems in the world. They will do it ANYWAY. You can NEVER placate a bully. NEVER. They only respond to FORCE, or maybe you didn’t know that…

    Fred, despite what your friend might tell you, there isn’t a real problem with Muslims or Sharia in Australia – yet. At least not in comparison to other countries such as the UK – where I lived for a time. You would have to give specifics for me to know what you are talking about. It sad for the state of US-Aus ANZUS alliance and other future alliances that you think things concerning the War on Terror, and in particular whether it is worth the propaganda coup for Muslim to release the bin Laden photos, is only a ‘US concern’. Glag to see our recent support and involvement in virtually every US military and diplomatic action in over 100 years is well appreciated.

    I wasn’t comparing a sharia problem in the UK with a Sharia problem in Australia. Everything is relative. I was simply stating that any problems related to radical Muslims in Australia stands on its own and simply by trying to compare it with another nation only points out relativity, but does not negate my point at ll. You read my comments and immediately compared any radical Muslim problem with the UK. That’s not what I did. I simply pointed out that Australia has problems.
    
    I can NOT give you any specifics because to do so would put my friends (that’s PLURAL) in jeopardy.
    
    If you honestly (and NAIVELY) believe that showing a picture of dead bin Laden is somehow going to incite radical Muslims MORE than the fact that he has been KILLED, you are sadly mistaken.
    
    What the world does NOT seem to understand is that radical Muslims WILL NOT BE PLACATED. They are already EXTREMELY upset now that bin Laden was killed. The UK, Pakistan, Syria (and other Middle East countries) are in an uproar over it.
    
    What they have found on the hard drives and other items taken from bin Laden’s compound simply shows us that this man and the terrorist network has/had NO intention of backing down since it is becoming clear that many terrorist attacks were in the planning stages.
    
    But YOU and others are saying, “Gee, let’s not show the photos of a dead bin Laden, because that might incite radical Muslims to do something.” How asinine is THAT? We have over 30 terrorist camps in this country that have been used to train Al-Qaeda operatives. One in Islamberg (New York) is completely empty of all men. Why? They went to Afghanistan to fight our military guys and that was BEFORE bin Laden was killed.
    
    Your line of “reasoning” makes no sense to me at all. When Saddam’s sons were killed, much of the world said “that didn’t happen” and it was only when the bodies were actually shown that doubt became truth.
    
    Instead what do we do? We spend 45 minutes giving bin Laden a Muslim burial that simply says to the radical Muslim world, “See? We know that Islam is superior to any other “religion of the world,” and we are afraid NOT to obey the tenets of Islam. Word is that bin Laden was not even a true Muslim, but in my view, the ONLY reason we did what we did is because Mr. Obama’s true sympathies lie with Islam, as if giving bin Laden a Muslim burial would somehow placate radical Muslims. Give me a break. That’s like saying that if you are nice to a bully, they will respect you. No, bullies understand one thing: force.
    
    Now, we have BOTH made our points. We disagree, correct? What is the point of continuing to “discuss” it, Simon?

We can all only speculate, but aren’t we at war? And in war isn’t it strategically important not to give your enemies propaganda. Yes, we probably pander too much to Arab auidences and sentiments. However, a picture of Osama bin Laden with a huge hole in his head is likely to be the best ‘I want you’ recruitment poster since Uncle Sam and Lord Kitchner. Yes, that is unfair, but that is the reality of the War on Terror and the nature of the enemy we must now fight! We are not fighting a reasonable enemy, and we must fight smarter; not just harder.

  Today, Mr. Obama was involved in speaking before a number of Hispanic events here in America because they celebrate Cinco DeMayo. I’m still not sure why we celebrate it here in America and the people of Mexico do not even celebrate it like Hispanics do here.
  
  Be that as it may, Mr. Obama was heard to say that all kinds of congratulatory things to Hispanics in attendance. His goal is to find a way to provide blanket amnesty to over 20 million illegal aliens (he calls them guest immigrants) without going through Congress. Why? What better way to increase the Democrats who would vote for him?
  
  Mr. Obama is way too sensitive where Muslims are concerned. He tries too hard to placate people who will NEVER like us. Yet, with Christians, he could care less. He is the first president to say that this country is no longer Christian. He is the first “Christian” president to ignore the National Day of Prayer and he goes out of his way to treat Muslims as though they are superior to everyone else.
  
  I don’t see your end of the world doing a better job fighting the encroachment of Islam by the way.

Why does Obama have 2 different birth doctors?

The White House release of a copy of Barack Obama’s long-form Hawaian birth certificate continues to raise more questions – since the name of the president’s attending physician differs from previous published reports.

The name on the purported birth certificate lists Dr. David Sinclair as the obstetrician who delivered Obama in 1961.

But reports by the Buffalo News and supposedly confirmed by the hoaxbusting website Snopes.com indicate the name of Obama’s birth physician was Dr. Rodney T. West.

Here is an image of what the White House claims is Obama’s official, long-form birth certificate, with Sinclair’s name listed as the doctor.
