Michelle Obama and America’s “Damn” Flag

Who would have thunk it? Apparently, this video shows our glorious First Lady badmouthing the fact that she had to stand there with hubby Barry while they watched the flag pass by in some sort of parade.
While her remarks cannot be heard on the video, what she said was verified by a teacher of deaf students.
It’s difficult to know who hates our country more, Mrs. or Mr. Obama…Sure glad Mr. Obama set aside that “coil of rage” he carried for so long…

This comment was made circumspectfully, with dignity and free of vitriol. It was on target. To a non-lip reader, it is rather clear that Mrs. Obama ended her statement with the word “flag” and preceded it with a word that was most likely descriptive.

So Vance, are you saying you agree with Mrs. Obama’s comment, or are you saying that YOUR comment is free of vitriol…?

And China is perhaps the second part.

You read lips now, do you, Simon?
The reality is that whether it was for the U.S. flag or some other flag, the disrespect is obvious. Let’s say you’re right and it is the Chinese flag…do you honestly believe that it is OKAY for the president of the United States and his wife to bash the ceremony surrounding it?
In fact, because of the many times that Mr. Obama has bowed to foreign dignitaries, I cannot imagine that Michelle would be so crass as to badmouth a foreign flag when it is so obvious that America is what those two hate.

I wasn’t necessarily disputing what the First Lady did or did not say because I certainly cannot read lips. I wasn’t talking about Chineese flags – sorry if I was confusing. I was just following from Neslon’s comments and asking whether the rise of China is divine judgment on the US in the same way as some might also see Obama as in instrument of America’s destruction?
I certainly agree that it wasn’t appropriate what Michelle Obama did if she did in fact do it – my understanding it isn’t really clear despite what some ‘experts’ are saying. As you said in another blog about Hermain Cain, I think people should be careful of judging without proper evidence.

Since an expert read Michelle’s lips, I tend to believe the expert. Had it simply come from someone who “thought” they understood what she said, that would be a different story.
In this case, I wasn’t judging Mrs. Obama, so much as simply taking what has been stated by an expert as the truth – that she said “All this for a damn flag.”
The reality is that it is clear from her facial expression that she was in fact denigrating SOMETHING. That much is clear. If you couple this with the fact that both – Mr. and Mrs. Obama – clearly have disdain for this country, then it makes what she allegedly said far more believable.
So, taken as a whole, it’s fairly easy to believe that she was castigating the flag.
Don’t forget, Mrs. Obama said WAY back after her husband had been elected president that this was the first time she was actually proud of her country. That says a great deal. Mr. Obama himself also wrote in his book about his “coil of rage” that he had toward white people and America in general.
It’s not that difficult at all to believe that she said what some expert lip-reader said she did say.

If memory serves me, Billy Graham once said that if God did not judge the U.S. he would have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. I think Obama is part of God’s judgment and this is only the beginning.
