If Only My Great Grandmother Had Had Access to Abortion

It is amazing to me how those on the left think. I’m sure I’ll never get used to it.

Chelsea Clinton just made an astonishing statement that she laments that her great-grandmother “did not have access to services that are so crucial that Planned Parenthood helps provide.” Apparently, Chelsea’s grandmother was born out-of-wedlock to teenage parents.

Let’s look at the so-called logic here, shall we?

Chelsea is saddened that her great-grandmother was unable to have an abortion because of the situation she found herself in after she became pregnant with Chelsea’s maternal grandmother.

The maternal grandmother was ultimately born because abortion services were not available.

The maternal grandmother eventually gave birth to Hilary Rodham Clinton.

As we know, Hillary gave birth (I’m assuming) to Chelsea Clinton.

Had Chelsea’s great-grandmother had an abortion, Chelsea’s maternal grandmother would not have been born.

Hillary Clinton would not have been born.

Chelsea Clinton would not have been born and would not have made her recent comments that ultimately end up being her own death wish.

What is the matter with the left? Are they so stupid that they cannot see past their own idiocy? Apparently.

So intent are they in supporting the death machine of abortion mills that they make nonsensical statements with a straight face that belies the fact that they are unable to use logic to their own advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen…I give you…the new left. Always fighting for the underdog so that more taxpayer dollars are available to pay for the murder of newly non-born babies every day, to the tune of nearly 4,000 in the U.S. alone.

As far as the abortive left is concerned, every child should be a wanted child. That’s the mantra. It means that only pregnancies that are fully planned should be brought to full term and delivered. All other babies can be brutally torn apart from the womb as they are destroyed in pieces by a practitioner of medicine who calls himself a doctor. It’s solely up to the woman…alone even though she didn’t become pregnant…alone.

Chelsea Clinton either has not connected the dots or worse, she has connected them and even though her stated opinion means her own demise before her life began, she is willing to stand behind her comments because of her strong belief in the fact that women should have total control over their own bodies. Of course, this flies in the face of choosing not to have sexual relations outside of marriage, or at least using protection that seriously minimizes the chance of becoming impregnated in the first place. No, that would be asking too much and I’m not even discussing the small percentage of incidents when a woman is impregnated through rape or incest.

It is clear that most women who have abortions have repeat abortions. That makes abortion the contraceptive of choice for them.

Gosh, with such brilliance on display by Miss Clinton, isn’t it clear we need more people from the left to belch their asinine views about abortion? How can we live without it?

No, I won’t offer a cheap shot about wishing that Chelsea’s great-grandmother had abortion services available. I just wish before those from the left opened their mouths, they would think things through just a little bit more.

Between listening to Jay Carney not answer one question after another (to the tune of nearly 10,000 questions), Robert Mueller do the same, and plenty of others on the left who wouldn’t know how to actually give a simple “yes” or “no” if their life depended on it, I’m not sure if it’s refreshing or revolting to hear remarks from Chelsea Clinton speak ultimately about lamenting the fact that she wishes she had not be born.

If ever there was a case of someone professing themselves to be wise but actually being a fool, this is it (cf. Romans 1:22).

Cheese and crackers, I am at a loss to explain such stupidity.
