Technocracy to Tribulation

technocracy_tribulationThis world has been moving toward becoming one ever since the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11). What God thwarted then was only temporary because His purposes had not come to fruition regarding the nation of Israel and the birth of the Savior. Had God allowed Satan to gather the world together through Nimrod, uniting the world as one then, it is likely that the Savior would not have been born because Israel would not have come into existence.

However, since Satan’s temporary defeat at Babylon, he has been allowed by God to once again begin to bring the world together as one. However, because of languages and cultures created by God at the Tower of Babel incident, it clearly took Satan a great deal longer to bring people together since he had to start over from scratch. Before Satan could bring anyone together, he first had to help them to communicate with other cultures and that took many generations to even begin to accomplish.

However, now we are here in 2015 and we see the world rapidly moving toward some type of union. With recent decisions made by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS), there are clearly more things in motion to bring the world together as one.

I’ve just finished a book called Technocracy to Tribulation and in it, I spell out not only what is going on under our noses (forget the obvious things and focus just on what we often fail to see), but where it is all likely leading. The important thing to note is that Satan made five promises that are recorded for us in Scripture and found in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. These five promises are all related to one main promise and that is that Satan sees himself as becoming “like the Most High.” The absurdity of this promise is without question because Satan is a created being, though his narcissism does everything it can to ignore that fact. A created being is always a created being. He will never be an “uncreated” being like God. He can never push God aside and replace Him as God or as the Most High. He only thinks he can do so.

Interestingly enough, the entirety of Satan’s career looks forward to the Battle of Armageddon. In Revelation 16, we see the preparation for it as the angel pours out the 6th Bowl of God’s wrath, which in that instance, dries up the “great river” (aka Euphrates River), so that the kings can be gathered for battle. For battle against whom? The battle is against God.

12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. 13 Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

15 “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”
16 Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

Satan will gather the world’s armies together for one purpose – to attempt to defeat God Almighty. This has been his goal, the desire of his heart. Satan was created and no sin was found in him until that day when he was so enamored with himself, so proud of his beauty, intelligence, and supernatural power that he actually began to think he was equal to God. Satan then promised to become like the Most High.

This is the entire reason for everything that Satan does and God is allowing Satan to do whatever he can to bring his promises to fruition. He will fail and he will fail miserably, but by then, the entire world will witness his failure and demise. In order to get to that point though, the world must be brought completely under Satan’s thumb and this has been and continues to be happening in global society.

Technocracy to Tribulation highlights many things that have been happening in society that have been moving the world toward the Battle of Armageddon. Satan has deftly used the world’s resources and leaders to bring about a one world system that comprises politics, economy, social mores, and all the rest. God will even give Satan a very large helping hand when He (God) pours out a delusion over the earth that will cause people to believe Satan’s lies wholeheartedly (2 Thessalonians 2:11). While it may seem unfair that God is helping Satan out, God only sends the delusion because people have consistently rejected God’s truth. God doesn’t send the delusion willingly, but only because this is what the world actually wants (Psalm 2).

As Christians, we can become worn out with frustration at what we see happening in the world. We wonder where is God? We remonstrate one another for not doing “enough” to keep Satan’s lies at bay. The reality is that God is the One who is allowing Satan’s lies to take hold in society. God is the One who will actually help Satan’s lies to become seen as truth. God is doing this because He wants Satan to have every opportunity to take his best shot against God. This best shot leads to and culminates in the Battle of Armageddon. It is also where Satan – though using his puppet spiritual son, Antichrist – will himself be fully defeated by God as Jesus returns to this earth physically. Paul records the incident for us in 2 Thessalonians 2:8 for us.

Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming…”

We look at the world and we are shocked. We should be, however, we forget something too often. This is the world. These people are lost. They have no concept of God and His truth. Truth for the world is a moving feast. It is not static nor is it set in stone. Truth is as changeable for the world as a skin is for a snake. We cannot expect the world to place themselves willingly under God’s thumb. Their father is Satan and until they choose adoption into God’s family through Jesus Christ, Satan will forever remain their father. How can we expect fallen, corrupt people of the world to do what is right? It’s an impossibility. It is difficult enough for Christians to do what is right all the time because though saved, it still requires us to submit to God so that His purposes will be lived in and through us.

Technocracy to Tribulation is a book that may interest you. It deals with how Satan has been clearly at work behind the scenes building a one-world system that he will eventually use in his final attempt to overthrow God. The idea that Christians can fight against this coming system is absurd. Our focus should be on bringing the truth to those who live in lies and I’m talking about salvation here.

Think about it.

I fully agree with your post. And even without having read your book, I will fwd your post to my 20 + email list knowing that many of them are puzzled and fearful about unprecedentedly evil domestic and global developments, truly satanic, that are actually part of God’s end time scenario. Your book hopefully will clarify such imminent prophesied events, both pre and post Rapture, and set their minds at ease, especially if born again and looking forward both to an imminent Rapture and then downward from an heavenly observation deck.
