Dangerous Extremism of the Far Left Needs to Be Stopped

February 3, 2017 at 9:32 AM 4 comments

obamalegacyThe legacy that is Mr. Obama’s is evident throughout American society, more now than when he was in the Oval Office. The reason for this is due to the fact that the protections that were in place for the far left during the Obama Administration are being removed by the Trump Administration, which is returning America back to its original rule of law based on the Constitution. This is certainly rattling the left and many of them are acting like caged animals tearing at the bars of their own making in their attempt to maintain the power they once had.

The Anarchists and Fascists of the far left have fully rejected Donald Trump as the 45th president of these United States, solely because he has made promises and is keeping them. He wants to unite America but the far left has no intention of being united to something they believe is wrong. Because of that mindset, they, along with the media that props them up, are doing whatever they can to show just how angry they are over Donald Trump’s legitimate presidency. The far left argues that Hillary won the popular vote. But, the popular vote is not how presidents are elected in America, with the number of votes calculating the electoral college votes. Hillary lost the electoral college vote and the far left needs to close down their protests and get on board. It looks like neither will happen anytime soon.

The far left is calling for Trump’s impeachment even though he has done nothing illegal to warrant it. They are also routinely calling for Mr. Trump’s assassination and at least one individual has been arrested and charged, and faces five years in prison for tweeting his desire to assassinate President Trump. Going back to June of 2016, another man was arrested in Las Vegas after trying to steal a police officer’s gun to assassinate Trump. That man was in the US illegally, having stayed beyond the terms of his VISA. There are many others which I won’t highlight here, who have also called for Mr. Trump’s death. This is perfectly okay for the far left, but had this happened during Mr. Obama’s two terms, this same far left would’ve pounced.

Unconscionable. Illegal. Violent. The Far Left...

Unconscionable. Illegal. Violent. The Far Left…

The number of people talking about assassinating Trump and tweeting their intentions out on Twitter, Facebook, or other social networks is alarming to critical-thinking and law-abiding people, but this is what the unhinged far left is doing and how they think. For the record, as stated before, it is never permissible to call for someone’s death. Never, but the left does it seemingly with impunity. Glad that door is closing.

Consider the general arrogance of the far left. They have placed themselves in the exalted position of determining what defines “hate speech.” Once they determine what hate speech is, they then believe it is their right and obligation to shut it down, in spite of the 1st Amendment. We saw this quite clearly recently with the violent and criminal protests at UC Berkeley campus in California. The spineless assault by the far left was done as a preemptive reaction to a gay, immigrant man who happens to be a conservative, and who was to give a speech. The Mayor of Berkeley seemed to encourage it and may be under FBI investigation. Had law-enforcement been allowed to do what they are sworn to do, the violence would’ve been quelled.

Charged with threatening the assassination of President Trump.

Charged with threatening the assassination of President Trump.

I cannot help but go back to several portions of Scripture here that clearly detail the attitudes of many during today’s “last days.” 2 Timothy 3 and Romans 1 provide crystal clear looks into the continued downward spiral of hatred and darkness by those who are resolute in their rejection of God. They go from bad to worse to worse still. Their minds become so darkened (literally, depraved), that they are completely unable to think critically.

Visit nearly any social network and you’ll run into people who are Anarchists and Fascists. While they hurl abuse of all kinds at conservatives, even calling us “fascists,” it is really they who are the true fascists. By definition, a fascist is someone who tries to exercise oppressive, dictatorial control over others. For the far left, those who do not believe as they do are targeted for silencing. It is a dangerous precedent.

Years ago, liberals would at least allow and even encourage people to have opposing viewpoints. Those liberals would actually fight for the right of others to disagree with them under the 1st Amendment. Today’s far leftist is not in the same arena as the liberal of old. Today’s far leftist espouses anarchistic violence, fascism, and illegal protesting to achieve their goals. Some in Hollywood encourage protesters/looters from the safety of the sidelines. However, it is also very likely that many of these protesters are paid allegedly by George Sorus foundations and non-government organizations (NGO).

exdem2One individual recently posted on his social network that because of the violent nature of the left, he has finally seen the light and understands the Democratic Party for what it is and he is done. I’ve taken the liberty of posting a screenshot of his rant (minus the expletives). You can feel his disgust for what are the “tantrums” of the far left.

Dennis Prager wrote an article titled, “America’s Second Civil War.” In it, he deals with the problem that is rising up in society and points fingers at the far left. Prager states that America is really in its second civil war and warns that “…given increasing left-wing violence, such as riots, the taking over of college presidents’ offices and the illegal occupation of state capitols, nonviolence is not guaranteed to be a permanent characteristic of the Second Civil War.”

leostanddownberkeleyOne might rightly ask, where was law-enforcement during the Berkeley riots when anarchists and members of Black Bloc and Antifascist Coalition were bashing heads and destroying businesses, ATM’s and private property? Allegedly, a “stand-down” order was given. How many times did America witness this during the Obama years? Ferguson, St. Louis, Sanford, and many other places allowed students and professional protesters alike to go ballistic with few consequences. Is this the new America?

It would seem that the far left are not interested in talking. In fact, logic seems to be something they are most definitely not familiar with and their violence proves it. I’ve watched many videos and seen many photos and the absolute anarchy and destruction rained down by these professional protesters is difficult to watch.

As stated at the beginning of this article, the far left continues to do whatever it can to overthrow American principles; principles and laws based on the Constitution. As Prager notes, “The left, however, is opposed to every one of those core principles of liberalism. Like the left in every other country, the left in America essentially sees America as a racist, xenophobic, colonialist, imperialist, warmongering, money-worshipping, moronically religious nation.

Trump supporter beaten unconscious by far left fascists who then wrote on the man's face exactly what they do NOT live by.

Trump supporter beaten unconscious by leftist fascists who then wrote on his face exactly what they do NOT live by.

This is exactly why the far left can – for now – unite with Islamists as they both seek to destroy Western Civilization. Once that might be accomplished, these two groups will turn on one another since Sharia Law under Islam is far more restrictive than anything within the Constitution of the United States of America. For now though, they are strange bedfellows, existing together under the banner of anarchy in the hopes of destroying America.

Because of all that’s been happening, it has become very clear that CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post, and many others are simply mouthpieces for the far left. Even President Trump has cut ties with CNN because of all the fake news they’ve been reporting and there are a multitude of examples to draw from as proof.

In one recent example of coverage from The Hill of President Trump’s comments regarding the attempted machete attack in Paris attempts to show President Trump as a bigot because he laid the blame of the attack at Islam’s feet, without proof. The Hill stated he had no proof, yet the attacker who was shot by police could be heard yelling, “Alluha Akhbar!” Either the individual is Muslim or an Islamic sympathizer, but The Hill disregards this and instead focuses on Trump’s alleged “Islamophobia.”

In another example, the New York Times falsely reported that President Trump had come out against Israeli settlements. This is simply not true. They falsely reported based on their misunderstanding of the clearly worded White House statement from last Thursday.

It is becoming very clear to the majority of people (roughly 60% of Americans support Donald Trump; over 80% republicans and 54% democrats), that something is very rotten in America. The values and principles created and guaranteed by the Constitution are willfully being ignored with serious attempts made to erode them. It is what Prager calls “left-wing nihilism.”

With the defeat of the left in the last presidential election, the defeat of the left in two-thirds of the gubernatorial elections and the defeat of the left in a majority of House and Senate elections, this is likely the last chance liberals, conservatives and the right have to defeat the American left. But it will not happen until these groups understand that we are fighting for the survival of America no less than the Union troops were in the First Civil War. (Prager)

The truth seems to be that God allowed/placed Donald Trump as the 45th president of the United States. He has a purpose for that. While Christians should never place politics above the gospel, there is a very clear need to fight for what is right by resisting what is wrong. I’m not saying that we need to take to the streets and act like the far left anarchists and fascists. What I am saying is that all people opposed to the far left need to use every legal means at our disposal to push the far left back into submission and to resist their onslaught. Their time is over.

For those who have been reading this blog for some time, this may appear on the surface to be something different from what’s been previously stated. It’s really not. I’m not advocating violence as an answer to the far left. I’m also not stating that we should put our politics above a person’s need for Christ and His salvation.

What is being stated here is that it appears as though God has provided a respite in Donald Trump from the Marxism of Mr. Obama and many others in Congress who continue to obfuscate and obstruct the democratic process. Rather than stooping to the far left’s demonic level, we need to show that there is strength in truth and in doing what is right; that we have the patience, stamina, and wherewithal to see things through. We may not ultimately succeed, but it will be a very powerful testimony to those who are lost that we stand for what is right and we will not back down.

The truth is that unless law-enforcement is given permission to do their jobs, violent and destructive protests will continue. That is the first order of the day. Put pressure on elected officials to support law-enforcement to keep citizens safe from unchecked violent mobs. Support the president’s temporary ban on travel from certain countries that happen to be Islamic. Remember, Trump is simply doing what Obama did several years ago, and what Clinton did before him, and what Carter did before him in the 1970’s. There is nothing new here but the media continues to malign President Trump, lying that he is banning Muslims. This could not be further from the truth. While we’re on the subject, why doesn’t Saudi Arabia not take even one displaced Muslim refugee? They don’t because they don’t want to have to deal with Islamic terrorism. Yet, the rest of the world is supposed to step up?

I agree with Dennis Prager. This may be the last chance to turn things around. In either case, the Lord’s will is going to be accomplished even if that ultimately means losing ground. In spite of that, we can still stand with what is right and pursue that.

The far left has grown exponentially under Obama’s Marxist administration. But they are still clearly outnumbered. They think because they make a lot of noise and cause destruction that the average person will be terrified and recoil into abject submission. They are wrong. I don’t know of anyone who is going to back down because of the threats from the far left.

In this day and age, it is important to realize that we must watch our backs. We must do what is right and we must also always be prepared to give an answer for the hope we have in Christ (1 Peter 3:15). It is still very possible that those across from us who are diametrically opposed to us may yet see their need for Christ, but a great deal of that depends upon how we respond to the far left.

Worshiping God with Strange Fire… Leftist Social Justice Warriors and Matthew 25

Thanks for the excellent clarification. Let’s remember that post apostolic believers were an underground church living in catacombs for nearly 3 centuries as are even now saints in China and Islamic nations…..laboring for Him under cover while awaiting the imminent Rapture.

And Christians may soon face similar similar satanic wrath in the US, both as true believers and in name only. Why? Because the First Amendment protection guaranteeing religious freedom of expression under Jefferson’s separation of church and state has been widely trampled and at best is a dead end or one way alley.

But only true believers will be Raptured whereas the multitude of professing Christians in name only tragically will have to live through the unprecedented persecution and suffering in the subsequent Tribulation. Sad but true, because God said so in the Bible, yet simply avoidable by truly accepting AND serving Jesus as LORD not only Savior.

Glad my comments made sense. There’s always the chance that written verbiage can be misinterpreted. 🙂

Yes, Christians have certain protections in the USA for the time being, but throughout the world many brothers and sisters in Christ are always in danger of many forms of persecution including death.

My wife has to take Uber from time to time and she meets some very interesting people, many are Christians from other nations. One individual – a Christian – managed to escape from Turkey not long ago. He was telling her that in Turkey, everyone carries an ID card in which the word “MUSLIM” is printed on it. There are no other choices. He also said that Christians often wind up being “missing” or dead solely because they are Christian. Under Islam as you know, this is perfectly permissible and even expected. Christians living under Sharia Law are “dhimmis” or “slaves” and as such, can be mistreated, beaten, and even killed. Since they are slaves, there is no consequence to dealing with Christians in that manner. Paying “dhimmitude” or a slave tax can keep the Christian alive, but even that is no guarantee.

Too many within the United States are not aware of the massive persecution that is happening in other parts of the world. It is quickly becoming a religious “pandemic” yet even there, God is fully in charge. Life in this world is extremely temporary.

Jesus and his disciples gave Christians clear instructions in matters of faith, or our personal salvation and duties as transient Christian pilgrims in Satan’s world. But none for battling the evil forces in our society, then and now. Look at Jesus, the Apostles, Paul……how many protest rallies did they organize or attend to change Roman or Jewish laws? None! Neither should we do that now!
Our divine commissission demands exclusive focus on saving souls not on reforming societies which is best done by secular protest groups with a vested interest in improving their remaining time on earth that will surely be far more pleasant than the eternal existence in a real hell after death and judgment.
Life may be shorter than we think but may allow some time to think or comment as you did.
Niebuhr’s Serenity Prayer is a good antidote for intractable problems.

I would agree. The difficulty though is in dealing with how often vexing evil in life can be. We see the evil and we wonder what can we do?

Certainly prayer should be our constant companion. Seeking His face and His will. Avoiding evil and resisting it are also part of that.

Protesting? I would agree that it probably should be avoided. There will likely be times though when the courts can and should be used to maintain rights under the Constitution.

The end goal however is to live as Christ lived. Paul took advantage of his rights as a Roman citizen when it was necessary due to the gospel and that’s the time we should use it as well.

Thank you for giving me the chance to be perfectly clear. I do NOT think that Christians should be out protesting, although under the Constitution, peaceful protests are allowed. That is my opinion and each Christian will have to decide for themselves their own course of action. I think in cases where Christians are pushed up against a wall regarding the dissemination of the gospel, we have the law on our side. If the courts continually rule against Christians in spite of the clear meaning of the law, then that is the way things go.

I also solidly believe that prayer should be used on behalf of those who lead this country. We were to pray during Obama’s Administration and we are to do the same thing under the Trump Administration.

I also believe it is a good idea to understand how evil in society works. Ultimately, I CONTINUE to believe that the world will continue to move toward a global system of governance and there is absolutely NOTHING that can be done to stop it, according to God’s Word. I also believe that one specific major event will be the catalyst for moving past the point of no return. That event, in my opinion, is the Rapture, which I believe will occur prior to the coming Tribulation period. The results of this one event will cause major calamity throughout the world and will be the underlying reason why people of all walks of life, from all over the world will seek the leadership of one individual who will seem to be able to lead the world into an age of what they think is global prosperity. We know that this will be the WORST seven years this world will ever see, followed by the physical return of Jesus and the setting up of His Millennial Kingdom.

In the meantime, I agree 100% with you, that our job is to preach the gospel in word and deed. I do not believe for myself that I should participate in any protests, however, there are other Christians who would disagree with me, believing that peaceful protests as outlined under the Constitution are legitimate forms of Christian expression. As I’ve stated many times before, it can be a bit dangerous to become involved in social justice or political progress because it can easily undermine the true purpose of our calling. For that reason, I cannot participate in marches or protests because I can easily see myself being moved from the path. But not everyone is like me either.

Thanks again for your excellent comments! 😀
