Psalm 37: The Lord Laughs

10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;
Indeed, you will look carefully for his place,
But it shall be no more.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth,
And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12 The wicked plots against the just,
And gnashes at him with his teeth.
13 The Lord laughs at him,
For He sees that his day is coming.

The verses above from Psalm 37:10-13 tell us God laughs at the wicked and their plots and verse 13 tells us God’s reaction to the wicked; laughter. This truth also implies a couple of things. First, in order for God to laugh at wicked people, He has to know they will not succeed in spite of their hubris. This is beyond doubt!

Have you ever seen a chihuahua try to sound ferocious? I have and it’s comical, not threatening or scary. As we got to know our neighbors after moving in, they had a chihuahua who was just like that. At one point as I walked in the  ir yard, she came barking and snarling and tried to bite my ankle. She didn’t break the skin and it didn’t even leave a mark. It felt like someone tapped me slightly with a hammer. It got my attention but that was it. The dog didn’t realize I could’ve dropped kicked her across the yard. Of course, I’d never do that to any animal because I like animals quite a bit. It was just a bit comical that this small dog was trying her best to do an impression of a doberman, but simply didn’t have the presence or actual might to carry it off.

This was her reaction to me almost every time I went over there. I could not get her to “like” me and relax and I like to think that animals like me. Then one day, she died. In talking to the owner, he said one night, she was on the couch, looked up over at him, then sighed a very heavy sigh and that was it. I’m not saying the dog was evil. I’m simply saying that this presents a picture of evil workers who are here one day, barking, snarling and working against God refusing to come to Him in humility and then they die and are no more. This is sad and should cause our hearts to go out to them at least in prayer for them.

Second, the fact that God laughs at evil people (or workers of iniquity), also means that for those who love Him and seek to serve Him in their daily living, God will obviously meet their needs and often provide more than they could even think. If God knows the outcome of the wicked because He has determined it, then He also has the capacity to help His children in spite of the workers of iniquity.

Remember Psalm 37:3?

Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.

The sense here is that as we deliberately choose to trust our Lord, we will leave our problems with Him. Because we leave them with Him, we are then free to focus on “doing good” or put another way, living the Christian life the way He wants us to live it. We trust the Lord to provide, to guide and to protect and therefore, we are free to focus on doing good things, meaning, completing His will for us. His will involves things like the following:

• treating others as we want to be treated
• loving others as we love ourselves
• going out of our way to help
• honoring our parents
• being a blessing to people
• praying for others; saved and unsaved
• giving sacrificially
• filling a need when it crosses our path
• being faithful about attending church to fellowship with others and worship the Lord in unity
• ignoring the things that seek to pull us away from God
• cleaning our lives so that we are free from sin
• in short, living a life that brings Him glory

The more we do the above, the more God will guide us during those times when we do not see His will clearly about decisions we need to make in life. Granted, this is not necessarily easy and we may find ourselves in our own “Garden of Gethsemane” type of experience where we face something terrible and it takes time and effort to truly give it to the Lord. If we persevere, I’m convinced He will help get us through it.

If we are constantly focusing on problems we face by worrying about them – how we’ll get through this, what do we do about that, where will the money come from for that other thing, etc. – then we are clearly not trusting Him are we? It is sometimes that painfully obvious and all of us are, at times, burdened by our own shortcomings and failures. But we need to move on by forcing ourselves to trust God so that we can be freed from the struggles and worries that often plague us. I’m not saying this is easy. I’m saying we must persevere in doing it.

Evil people are that because they choose to be. Christians are righteous solely because we have placed our faith in our Lord who gave Himself for us on Calvary’s cross and died in our place, doing something that we cannot do for ourselves. Do you believe that? If so, you have eternal life.

Even so, we Christians often fail because of our lack of faith or trust in the Lord. We tend to place our trust in other things; things we can see, hear and read.

For instance, I realize there are Christians who actually believe our government and pharmaceutical companies are there to help people with respect to the CV-19 situation today. I’m not convinced of that because of the way things have gone down for the past nearly two years. Why were some medications banned and essentially no early treatments were offered or even tried? Instead we were told to wait for a vaccine that would “save” us from CV-19. We were told it would be 95% effective, but it’s far less than that. It won’t even stop the spread and can even be the cause of the fully vaxxed coming down with other illnesses due to weakened immune systems from the vax. Remember this is all for an illness with a 99.8%+ survivability rate. Here’s a video from Dr. Bryan Ardis, interviewing Dr. Carrie Madej and former Pfizer employee discussing what’s in the Pfizer vax.

In fact, it appears that this drive to vaccinate people by our “helpful” government may ultimately lead to Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), in people. Read the report and learn that “…doubly vaccinated 40-70 year olds have lost 40% of their immune system capability compared to unvaccinated people. Their immune systems are deteriorating at around 5% per week (between 2.7% and 8.7%). If this continues then 30-50 year olds will have 100% immune system degradation, zero viral defence (sic) by Christmas and all doubly vaccinated people over 30 will have lost their immune systems by March next year.”

This is not good news at all and if it is true, it provides more evidence that quite possibly, this “vaccination” has several purposes, one of which is a depopulation tool. Yes, I’m aware that sounds “conspiratorial,” but I’ll remind readers to ask how the Tribulation and the situation that will exist inside the coming Tribulation will actually occur. What will society look like as we approach the time when the Tribulation begins? I’ve already talked about the fact that inside the Tribulation, millions of people will die. How is it possible pharmaceutical companies would have not known this destruction of immune systems would occur?

We now know beyond doubt that “America’s doctor” Fauci, it turns out, lied about the NIH funding for “gain of function” experimentation. Fauci is head of NIH and has been for decades and he signed off on the funding for gain of function. So he lied to Congress, but what will be done? Nothing likely as many within the agencies that can charge him with lying to Congress won’t do so.

Moreover, Fauci provided part of the funding for a horrific experiment done on beagle puppies. They were drugged, their heads were locked into cages, their vocal cords cut (so their noise wouldn’t disturb “scientists” working nearby), and hungry sand flies dumped onto their heads. Many were eaten to death. Who DOES this unless they are possessed by DEMONS???!!! No sane person in any sense of the word would involve themselves in this type of experiment, all in the name of “science.” What was the purpose for such an experiment? I cannot see one at all, but granted, I’m not a “scientist,” so there’s that. People want answers. I’m also reading that he funded experiments on monkeys where acid destroyed part of their brains allowing their terror to increase in response to certain stimuli. Why was this done? Would it have anything to do with the fact that monkey brains are not that different from human brains, so were they doing this to find out what they can do to people? Sounds like something Hitler’s Mengele would do…

I cannot imagine what we do not know regarding all the studies that have or are taking place now. I’d rather not think about it either but imagine what God sees daily. Nothing is hidden from Him (Hebrews 4:13).

Evil people have always worked to destroy the righteous and this has been the case for thousands and thousands of years. The Bible is filled with example after example. One example I’ll provide here is with King Ahab and the vineyard he wanted to buy from Naboth, a righteous Jew near the palace (1 Kings 21). Naboth said “No” to King Ahab and so he pouted about it and was beside himself. Not to worry because his wife Jezebel figured out a way using the Mosaic Law. It involved false charges and liars and Naboth was stoned to death and guess what? King Ahab got his vineyard. This is what evil people and workers of iniquity do. Sometimes the Lord protects His own from this type of treatment and other times He does not. In the end though, that righteous Jew received more in the next life than he ever could have hoped for in this life. Ahab and Jezebel? They are awaiting their final destination in hell, a place of utter darkness where gnashing of the teeth and a continual reminder of their sins will plague them forever even when they are judged and thrown into the Lake of Fire.

Yet, in spite of the truth of the above situation and the fact that evil people have always tried to take advantage of the righteous, too many Christians continue to place faith in government agencies largely run by atheists and/or Leftists/Marxists and this extends to large companies outside of government that tend to dictate to government because of the lobbyists and large amounts of money given to those in Congress. It boggles my mind how so many can actually believe our government wants only what is best for us. Pharmaceutical companies are in business to make money. It is difficult for me to believe there are no cures for cancers and other things. But Big Pharma cannot make as much money off of cures as they can from treatments, so we have a plethora of treatments. I’ve noticed though how so many super wealthy people often live very long and illness-free lives. Not all, but too many don’t seem to suffer as many of us suffer.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the way medicine approaches treatment after John D. Rockefeller got hold of it and began exercising control? Most doctors today simply treat symptoms and don’t deal with the source of the problem. It keeps people coming back to their doctors repeatedly. Why not just eat as clean as possible and strive to be healthy through that and moderate exercise, while avoiding the things that do us harm, and I’m not simply talking about alcohol, smoking and drugs? There is something evil (in my opinion), with the way today’s medicine treats illness. It seems to be designed to make as much money as possible first and foremost. Everything now is corporately controlled regarding our healthcare. The days of the town doctor are over. What was the purpose behind it?

King Ahab is a perfect example of the way evil people see the righteous. They hate us with a bold, nearly uncontrollable hatred. They gnash their teeth at us because they have aligned themselves against God and in doing so, have partnered with Satan and his demons and that is how those supernatural beings react to the righteous. It is a deep, deep hatred and if they had their way, they would not only set upon us and destroy our physical lives, but they would drag us to hell with them. Fortunately, they can only do the first part if God allows and they will never be able to fulfill the second part. When we die, we die in victory, immediately to be in our Lord’s Presence forever and ever.

It seems that evil people do what they do for several purposes:

• control
• wealth
• power

If we remove ourselves from that system, we have a much better chance of trusting the Lord and then focusing on living the way He wants us to live. One day, evil people and workers of iniquity will be gone completely. They won’t be found. That’s a big deal if you ask me. In the meantime, we need to move ahead with a two-pronged approach:

• trust the Lord
• do good

This type of life speaks volumes to the evil worker. It may even bring about their salvation.
