Love Your Neighbor
I find that for myself, loving others is not quite as easy as some find it, though I also know that I’ve improved over the years and that of course, is due to the Presence of God’s Holy Spirit within me. Yet, the frustration of still knowing that I have such a long way to go exists. Will I ever see huge gains in this life? I’m hopeful. Very hopeful. I know that it won’t happen by accident, but only by my perseverance in pursing God’s character. This is only done by submitting myself to His will even when I don’t fully understand what His will is, but know that I must submit to Him.
What About Our Immune System?
If I had been born and lived in a different country like Canada, Great Britain, Communist China, or the Philippines, life would be very different for me. However, God has placed me in the United States. I am guaranteed tremendous freedoms to pursue life, liberty and happiness. The federal government is supposed to protect my rights, not squelch them. Though Paul told us our true citizenship is in heaven, he was not afraid to use his Roman citizenship to his advantage at times.

Are You Afraid, Christian? Part 2
Wittkowski’s point (and I would encourage everyone to read the entire article), is that when we move among other people in society, there is a “herd immunity” that is developed because we briefly come in contact with people who may well be carrying the flu or viruses and may not know it, or be asymptomatic. This is often why doctors who see many patients per day do not often get sick. They spend very little time with those sick patients and the contact they do have allows their immune systems to rise to the occasion to defend their bodies from illness. He believes because we are sheltering in place and not moving as we would normally in society, we are actually causing the Coronavirus to hang around far longer and not helping our own immune systems “taste” the virus to fight it off.

The very process that government is using to keep us “safe” is also the cause of fear and frustration to many. In fact, the main people I see being afraid and acting out of that fear are those who believe if they step out of their homes, they will contract Coronavirus and die!
Perspective on Coronavirus
In another ten page article, we read, “Christians must keep in mind that the majority of public health and other government officials currently guiding their populaces (and actually terrorizing them in many jurisdictions) regarding the coronavirus pandemic are immersed in the dominant
worldview of our culture: atheistic materialism.”
Quarantining ALL of Society Because SOME are Sick?
I agree with Trewhella when he says that too many Christians today are marching toward statism, which elevates the state (government). We simply go along. We are obeying the state to the exclusion of God’s Word! This should not be! It does NOT mean we become violent or confrontational. It simply means we use common sense and obey God’s Word when it comes to societal rules for living.
What’s the End Game?
There is a great deal of fear-mongering out there today. We are told that no one knows how contagious this virus is and the best way to combat it is to close shop and stay away from people! This was never the case with any other airborne illness is recent history, yet without supporting evidence, the government is telling us to shelter in place.
Curiouser and Curiouser…COVID-19
Unless I’m completely mistaken, this “pandemic” is not even coming close to the situation that existed with SARS or even last year’s Flu. Thousands upon thousands died and during the Obama administration, he seemed to wait until a few thousand people had died before he even began to do anything. Even then, there was never any reference to a pandemic. Society did not grind to a halt.
Wuhan Virus Blues – the Bad and the Good
Remember, it all boils down to destroying the economy by any means necessary. This was also happening under Obama and since it was, the ginning up of fear was not necessary by the MSM since President Obama took his sweet time to get anything done when these diseases reared their ugly heads. In effect, he allowed the diseases to go unchecked for too long before he did anything, but you won’t hear the MSM tell you that. They’re too busy lying and fear-mongering.
