Out of the Heart…
The phrase “fear not” appears more than once in Scripture. Depending upon the translation used will determine the number of times, as the KJV uses the phrase “fear not” 74 times, while the NASB uses the phrase four times, etc. In the end, it doesn’t really matter how many times it is stated in Scripture. If God had only stated it once in the entire Bible, that would have been authoritative enough.
Revelation 12: Satan Out, Woman Persecuted
Part of the reason (if not the main reason), Satan is literally beside himself with tremendous wrath is due to the fact that he knows his time is short and since he knows the Bible better than any human being alive today, he knows how it will end for him. He also knows he has no chance of receiving the salvation that God has only offered to those made in His image. It simply will not happen. He knows it and knows full well where he will end up. I’m sure though he would like to take as many human beings as he can with him to that Lake of Fire. So, he continues his war against God, His Creation and His believers.
Revelation 12: Woman, Child and Dragon
So we are introduced to the following: a woman, who turns out to be pregnant, a red dragon with numerous heads and horns along with a crown on each head. As far as the dragon is concerned, we also learn that this same dragon is one who swept 1/3 of the stars of heaven (angels), so this is an obvious reference to Satan himself. Satan stands before the woman who is about to give birth because Satan’s intent is to totally destroy this child. Satan clearly understood who this child was to be so he intended to stop Him who would eventually become the King of kings and who would reign with a rod of iron, a reference to the coming Millennial Kingdom.
Its Works are Evil
But understanding the mindset of people who knowingly worship Satan (as Lucifer), and believe Satan is really “Lord Maitreya” provides insight into what they work toward, expect and hope to see occur throughout global society. Without this fundamental understanding, it simply seems to us that evil is gaining in society without rhyme or reason. But friends, there are reasons. The things taking place in global society are deliberate and measured in order to obtain or achieve a desired result.
Revelation 11: Two Witnesses and 7th Trumpet
The big question that often arises related to these two men is who are they? Well, the short and best answer is that we do not know! There is absolutely no sense in trying to figure it out either. God has not told us therefore He doesn’t think we need to know. All kinds of guesses have been made but I tend to agree with Dr. Thomas Constable who essentially says that it is likely God will simply raise two unknown men for this particular ministry when the time comes. Certainly, God empowers them as He did Moses, Elijah, Elisha and others, but to suggest that these will rise from the dead is a bit of a stretch. Of course, God can do this if he wishes, but I’m more included to think He will simply prepare two men at that time for that ministry.
It Should NOT Be an Industry
By the 1980’s, people had simply lost interest in the prophetic industry as a whole because none of the prophetic highlights panned out. Few, except diehards wanted to hear anymore of “Jesus was coming back soon!” or anyone’s guess about who the Antichrist would be. They turned their thoughts from prophecy and moved on to living; families, jobs, school, marriages, kids, vacations and everything else connected with simply being human. This led to a common belief among Christians and pastors, that the end times events will “just pan out” and take care of itself.
Always Trying to Cancel God
The prophet Micah was rebuffed and rebuked for daring to tell the people what God wanted him to tell them, but what the people preferred not to hear. The kings, priests and average Israelite tried their best to “cancel” Micah because of his message. They pushed back by demanding that he stop telling them what he was telling them. In essence, they were ultimately trying to cancel God.
Artificially Constructed
Jesus specifically warned that deceivers would come. Paul echoed that sentiment as did Peter, John and other New Testament writers. It’s a very important subject and one that needs our constant attention, yet we often ignore the possibility that we can be deceived. All of this growing deception will ultimately lead to the entrance and acceptance of the coming man of sin or Antichrist; that one final satanically-infused individual who will lead much of the world astray and that’s what Jesus’ main point to His disciples was all about. That is why He warned them to “take heed” or “be totally alert” and even to watch for it to happen. Be aware that it will happen so be on guard. Are preparations in the works now?
Consider Your Ways!
Christian, is your house in order? Are you focused on God, not the issues of this world? Sure, feel free to notice what is going on but do so through the lens of Scripture. God wants our hearts. He wants us to worship and adore Him, to give Him thanks for everything that comes our way. Are you doing this? If not, please repent of that and get right with God.
Euthanizing Common Sense
Today, the Left sees themselves as virtuous “servants” but in reality they serve the lie (2 Thessalonians 2:11), which ultimately means they serve themselves. They do whatever it takes to make themselves feel good, but in actuality, they are literally walking dead, having terminated common sense via wokeness long ago. This is part of God’s judgment on them as Paul clearly delineates in Romans 1. The saddest part is them thinking they have taken the high road when in fact, they are actually taking the low or wide road that leads only to more lies, heartache, despair and ultimately, eternal separation from God.
