As the World Turns…

So what can we do? Well, clearly, we must continue praying, right? We can never set that aside. God hears our prayers. We must, as we pray, be willing to let God be God. By that I mean that we must not insist on what we want based on what we think is the right path. We must give God room to do what He will do especially when we do not understand what His will might be.

Letting Go and Letting God?

In every situation we face as Christians, we must proceed bathed in prayer, always prepared to come to a point where nothing more can be done. It is at that point, we let go and trust that God has accomplished what He has chosen to accomplish. It doesn’t mean we do nothing. It means we proceed slowly, with caution, trusting the Lord to guide us in heart, thought, word and direction. When it appears as though we can go no further, we must then trust that for now at least, God has brought us as far as He wants to in that particular situation.

Social Network’s Continued Censorship Against Conservatives, Christians and Patriots

If you have not noticed, Christians are being persecuted mightily. Even those who are not Christian but are conservative and patriotic are finding it difficult to carry on conversations around Leftists who don’t want to hear anything except their particular political bias. They want to shut us down.

Lack of Discernment is Becoming the Norm

God gives wisdom to those who ask for it and it often doesn’t come with any type of ecstatic experience. It’s just knowledge born of wisdom and discernment. It’s very “pedestrian” compared to the antics that are on display at too many meetings and churches today.

This and That from Around the World

That’s actually been the problem with churches today. I’ve talked to numerous pastors who agree that the church needs to “change,” to update itself, to do whatever it takes to bring the unchurched into the church. But is this the actual goal of the Church itself? In other words, it appears that many have made the Church something that is man-centered instead of God-centered. For too many, the goal or purpose of the Church is to mainly and even solely reach out to the lost of this world and that’s it.

18 Years Ago Today, America was Attacked

Vigilance is required by all God-fearing Americans. We cannot close our eyes to what is happening. We cannot simply say that “It doesn’t matter because God is in control.” While that is certainly true, He does expect us to stand and fight for what is right. If we can, we should live quietly, minding our own business, but those days seem to be gone. We are being invited into an ideological war whether we like it or not.

Impartations and Feelings

Too often Christians don’t see the obvious because they are too busy trying to see beyond the curtain that separates us physically from the spiritual realm. Sometimes, the answers are far more obvious but because of the way the pharmaceutical and food companies have brainwashed society, we rarely consider the fact that many of our health issues (including depression), might be connected to what we eat! When I began to wake up to that fact, it changed my life.

Wrestling Against Spiritual Powers

You cannot willingly murder innocent children for a living and not be affected by it. You cannot submit yourself willingly to an abortion once, twice, three times or more and not be affected by it. The guilt experienced must be overwhelming and while my heart goes out to these moms and doctor-murderers, they are still accountable for their actions.

Problems with Today’s So-Called Prophets

Notice though that in the next section, the officials and people came to the priests and spoke on behalf of Jeremiah stating that he did not deserve to die because they said he spoke to them in the Name of the Lord. So, at least some of these people did not believe that Jeremiah was a false prophet or a blasphemer. Ultimately, the Lord was in control.

Gun Control Bait and Switch?

Either President Trump is playing Congress and has no intention of signing anything that further infringes on the 2A or he is honestly considering it. The fact that he has ordered the ATF to outlaw bump stocks and is considering banning suppressors is enough to make me very concerned. It is not far-fetched to think that President Trump is truly in favor of Red Flag laws, which will be abused by the Left to simply confiscate guns from law-abiding people.
