Bill O’Reilly, the View, and Ignorance

It shouldn’t come as a surprise, but when Bill O’Reilly recently visited The View, Joy and Whoopi walked off the set because of O’Reilly’s remarks about the Ground Zero mosque that “moderate” Muslim Imam Rauf wants built.

Apparently, O’Reilly’s belief that the 9/11 attacks were perpetrated by extremist Muslims angered both women to the point that they felt sharing the stage with O’Reilly would be hypocritical for them.  Their only recourse appeared to be walking off the set.  They were chided by Barbara Walters later.

What I think is extremely interesting and we have reported it here before in various blogs, is that even Muslims understand the implication of the presence of a Ground Zero mosque.  Some argue that the mosque is not really at “Ground Zero,” but the fact that it is merely a few blocks away and literally stands in the shadow of where the WTC stood makes it a moot point.  My feeling is that if radical Muslims could get it built where the WTC stood, they would do so.

The problem is that too many individuals in this country, do not believe the truth about Islam – its roots, its teachings, and its intolerance of everything else that is not Islamic.  In other words, if a person is not part of the system of Islam, then there is little to no tolerance.  History proves that Islam – beginning of course with Muhammad – has a nasty habit of either destroying churches and synagogues and building mosques over the area where they stood, or renovating churches and synagogues into mosques.

This process is what Islam has always done to prove their superiority.  It is globally recognized by Muslims everywhere that another victory has occurred each time a new mosque is erected.

In the case of the Ground Zero mosque, though they are not renovating a church or synagogue, they are wanting to build a huge mosque as close as they can possibly get to the site of the 9/11 attacks.  This ensures that the Muslim world will see the presence of this Ground Zero mosque as a victory for the Islamic world.  The reason?  Because every radical Muslim out there understands that the 9/11 attacks were perpetrated and carried out by extremist Muslims.

While there are anomalies associated with the attacks, which do raise some questions as to any culpability of the United States government, generally speaking, most are aware that militant Muslims flew the planes that destroyed buildings and sacrificed nearly 3,000 to Allah.  There is no question and so the radical Muslim world wants to finish the thing off by building a mosque on (or as near as they can get) the site.

Initially, though it may not be remembered, there was talk of building a mosque of some sort directly on the site of the 9/11 attacks.  The statement made by the presence of any mosque on or near the WTC site is one of victory.  It is a claim by radical Muslims that they now have a type of ownership of that area.  The presence of a mosque overwhelms doubt that the 9/11 attacks were accomplished by radical Muslims.

Just as in Muhammad’s day, whenever he conquered a new area, mosques were erected in place of churches and synagogues, so it is that a mosque near Ground Zero speaks of victory, ownership, and the presence of Allah.  This is how the radical Muslim thinks and throughout the Islamic world, any mosque built on or near the WTC, results in a win for Islam.

This is what the radical Muslims of the world want and look toward.  This is what they work for because they believe that the more they are able to claim for Allah, the sooner the final Mahdi will be able to appear in the world and will convert the remainder of the world to Islam, or kill those who refuse to be converted.

People like Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar play directly into the hands of radical Muslims.  First, for their refusal to believe that the 9/11 attacks were the result of extremist Muslims.  Second, they wind up siding with Islam against the United States.  Such action is treasonous, but being treasonous today appears to be politically correct.  This is due in large measure to our current president, who wants more than anything to condemn, and dismantle the United States.

People are ignorant of the ways of Islam.  They seem to refuse to want to believe the truth.  What they fail to understand is that while they are busy refusing to believe that radical Muslims are working very diligently to get what they want, the day will come (if things are left unchecked) when people like Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar will be forced to wear a Burkha.  Of course that seems so far removed from American culture that it is easy to ignore and/or disbelieve.  This also plays into the hands of the militants because they do not even need to work undercover.  Their activities can be seen, out in the open, and still disbelieved.

The ignorance of some is astounding.  However, the truth of the matter is that – for some strange reason – it is politically correct to view Islam as the underdog, the religious group that falls under the mistaken identity that they are trouble makers.  It is politically correct to show disdain for those of us who understand the history of Islam and to see where Islam wants to take this world.  It is politically correct to attempt to ostracize people who believe Islam – in its extremist or radical view – wants to destroy democracy, replacing it with their narrow, legalistic, and controlling ideology.

If this world does not wake up, Islam will get what it is pushing to have.  The idea that Islamic extremists can not only destroy two huge towers in NYC, along with the people inside and then push to have a mosque – a symbol of victory – built right alongside where the towers they destroyed once stood seems impossible to picture.  Yet, it is happening in NYC and it will happen in other places in the United States.

They will wake up and smell the coffee, but it will be too late for America. The government will make people bow toward Mecca in prayer 5 x’s a day. Of course I won’t be one of them, I am a Christian and if I am still here when that day comes, I guess I’ll just be losing my head, literally!! I will never bow before any man, I bow only before the God/Man!!

Fox news has never been one of may favorites to watch, however, I will just to get another perspective on things. Glen Beck I can not stand but, would watch Bill O’Reilly because he seemed a little more level headed. After watching him on the view… What a “pin head.”

I have found that people who generally don’t like Fox is due mainly to the conservative nature of Fox, at least compared to the other networks.

Glen Beck is fine – also conservative.

You’re kidding about O’Reilly. This is the first thing he has done where you can classify him as a “pinhead”? Obviously, you have not watched O’Reilly that much because most people started calling him that (and worse) a number of years ago. He’s always been conservative and he has always annoyed liberals.

I didn’t watch the actual spat that occurred. I read about it from a couple of news sources. The problem I have is that it appeared that both Joy and Whoopi were obviously more concerned about being politically correct than anything else.

It is clear to me and anyone else who truly understands the history and push of Islam, that building a mosque at Ground Zero is an affront to the American people. Even Muslims in Canada recognize the fact that a mosque so close to the very site where 3,000 Americans were sacrificed to Allah plays into the hands of radical Islam. It seems the only people who don’t recognize it are the liberal individuals who are too concerned with political correctness, in lieu of the truth.

Barbara Walters; why do you associate yourself with such people as Whoopie and Joy? They have no class and are, themselves, narrow-minded when it comes to their opinions. I can’t believe you need the money and I can’t believe you want to end your glorious career on a catfight show such as this. What happened to YOUR standards.
