Jesus a Precocious Wine Guzzling Socialist; Obama Has No Clue About Nation’s Motto

My friend over at Prophezine.com, Ray Gano sent out an e-mailed filled with some interesting news posts.  Apparently, in at least one school district in NH, a book is being used called Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America, by Barbara Ehrenreich and her “failed attempts to make a living at various minimum wage jobs across the country.” [1]

One point to make right off the bat is that the minimum wage is just that – a minimum wage.  It was not designed to provide people with a salary that provides for rent, food and everything else.  It is an entry-level (if that) wage that allows people to start off making something.  I recall the days I worked at McDonald’s(r) as a college student and made a whopping $1.85 per hour, a whole five cents more than minimum wage at the time.

Secondly, there is no evidence that Jesus was a “wine guzzler.”  While He may have enjoyed wine from time to time, most people in His culture did so.  Besides water was the not the best thing to drink solely because of the impurities in it.  Wine offered the body some defense against illnesses that were both air-born and water-born.

Like most Socialists, the author has a difficulty with Jesus’ teachings.  She prefers to see Him in a socialist light and was rather disappointed His crucifixion was highlighted in the gospels to the exclusion of what the author felt were His socialistic teachings.  Of course, the other scores an “F” on her ability to discern and even understand the purpose of Jesus’ death as well as her lack of understanding related to His teachings.

Too many people today – among them some of the most well-known “Christian” leaders like Tony Campolo, Rick Warren, Tony James, and a host of others – teach that Jesus was a Socialist.  Not so.  He is GOD.  He did not teach people to give up everything and to share everything.  That is something the early Christians chose to do because of their love for one another.  Even that did not go all that well (just read the early chapters of the book of Acts for proof of that).

The problem with Socialism is that it ignores the problem of greed.  It pretends that greed does not exist.  It also pretends that a desire to earn an honest dollar is also absent.  What Socialism winds up doing is the reverse of what God intended.  God made humanity to care for things and to work for what he had.  After the fall, this same work became real work, causing sweating, aching muscles, pain, and more.  It is because of this that people have an aversion to it.  These people are lazy and deserve nothing.  This does not include the group of people in society who because of honest health ailments require some measure of assistance.

Socialism does nothing except strip from people the desire to earn anything.  After all, why should anyone want to work when everything is given to everyone else?  The very fact that Socialism calls for the redistribution of wealth rules out the concept of capitalism and honestly earning a living.  Capitalism is seen as bad, in spite of the fact that Capitalism by its very nature is amoral.  People and their greed is what makes Capitalism become bad because they use it on the backs of workers to make themselves richer.

Socialism never really touches the wealth of the super-rich.  They are able to protect their fortunes.  Those who speak of Socialism are essentially talking about everyone else except the super-rich.  The rich would want this because it puts society under their control.  This is the way Communism has always been.  The average person has little to nothing.  The upper echelon within Communism have everything.  Socialism, like Communism creates two groups of people: the haves and the have-nots.  People like Barbara Ehrenreich honestly have no clue.  They believe they have the answer.  They believe if only the rest of the world would/could think as they do, the world would be perfect.  It cannot happen because we will always have the rich.  They will always find some way to beat whatever system exists at the time.  The goal of the super-wealthy is to take what little the common person has and while they are willing to spread that around, they are not willing to include their billions in the equation.  After all, someone has to be in charge and since they have the money, they have the power.  Since they have the power, it stands to reason that they are the ones who should look after those who have next to nothing.

Parents in the school district objected to the use of this book on moral and spiritual grounds.  They might as well have been talking to a brick wall for the good it did.  One set of parents are now homeschooling their kids because the district is immovable.

Let’s look at this another way though.  Say these parents were Muslim, instead of Christian and the book in question had made flippant, denigrating remarks about either Muhammad or Allah.  What do you think would have happened?  You bet.  Without so much as a blink of an eye, the district would have been all too happy to do whatever it took to please the Muslim parents.  Why?  Because unfortunately, the source is the same.  In other words, Satan created Islam, just as he created Socialism and Communism.  The district while resisting the objections of the Christians parents, would have actually not have changed their position by caving into the demands of Muslims.  Undoubtedly, the district would have kept using the book, but made provisions for the Muslims who objected to its use.

If radical Muslims from CAIR, or ACORN, or some other radical Islamic group got involved, the district likely would have backed down and eliminated the book.  Why?  Because of their fear and respect for Muslims, but not for Christians.

Again, Muslims are willing to put action to their objections.  They are willing to call for “fitna” or “jihad” against those who oppose Islam, its founder, or its god.  People know this and though most are afraid of radical Muslims, there is a very strange respect that goes out to them as well.  I have a sneaking suspicion the people who respect radical Muslims do so for reasons unknown to them.  They fail to see that they respect radical Muslims because of the satanic system that operates underneath it.  It is the same respect they have for authors like Barbara Ehrenreich, whose denigration of Christianity is from the same source – Satan.

We are going to see more and more of this.  Christians are not able to pick up weapons and go after the perpetrators.  We are to leave it completely in God’s hands, something that radical Muslims do not believe.  They believe the opposite that they are to take matters into their own hands and apply Shariah Law whenever they can.

After a while however, it gets to the point where we find ourselves thinking about Psalm 2, in which the triune God speaks to Himself as the Holy Spirit, as the Father, and as Jesus.  The opening sentence is a tell-all, “Why do the nations rage?”  All of what is happening in our society causes authentic Christians to ask along with Psalmist “How long, O Lord?

Psalm 74:10 – “O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?”

Psalm 94:1 – “O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.”

This is what Christians long for, as we wait patiently for God to restore all things for His glory.  We wait patiently for Him to take action against all things that stand against Him.

We know also that the Lord is patient because He wants no one to perish, yet we grow so tired of the constant mocking, the egregious placating and acceptance of evil.  True Christians long to gain release from this body of death and to know Him face to face.

Evil is not only raising its ugly head, but it is ramping up its attacks on anything that has anything to do with the Living God.  We know that Satan hates Christ’s followers not only because he hated Christ first, but because Christ through the Holy Spirit lives within us.  Our hearts are vexed because of what we see and hear happening in this world today.  While on one hand, we want people to come to know Jesus as Lord, Savior, and God, we also long for the end of all this so that nothing will ever bring dishonor to God again, including ourselves.

This attitude that has permeated society extends all the way to the White House as we have seen numerous times before.  Apparently, in a recent trip abroad, President Obama stated that the motto of the United States is E Pluribus Unum.  He explained to the Indonesians listening that this alleged motto of the U.S. is similar to Indonesian’s, which says “unity in diversity.”

I’m not sure who Obama’s speechwriter is, but he/she should be fired.  Then again, Obama himself should resign as someone totally unfit to be our president.  Most of us are aware that America’s motto is actually “In God We Trust,” but since President Obama tends to drop any references to God as often as possible, it is not surprising that he did so during his recent trip to Indonesia as well.

Unfortunately, it makes him look like a moron and I have no objection to that.  However, by association, it makes the people of the United States look like morons because they are the ones who elected him.  Actually, I believe both the media and the super-rich got Obama elected.  They created this groundswell of blind and unbridled adulation for someone who was essentially unknown.

A number of representatives from the Capitol have sent President Obama a letter.  Their concern is evident and so should yours.  “According to the Washington Times, members of the Congressional Prayer Caucus also remarked that President Obama has displayed “a pattern” of dropping references to God in his public addresses, previously leaving out references of the “Creator” in reciting men’s “endowed” rights spelled out in the Declaration of Independence.

“By misrepresenting things as foundational as the Declaration of Independence and our national motto, you are not only doing a disservice to the people you represent you are casting aside an integral part of American society,” the representatives wrote in a letter requesting the correction.” [2]

If I were President Obama, I would be thoroughly embarrassed, but that won’t happen here.  President Obama, being the true narcissist he is will have the people who speak for him explain it away.  They will insist that what was meant by his comments was not to castigate or deny America’s founding roots, but to bridge any alleged gap between America and other nations in the world.  If Obama says anything, he will come out and poke fun at those who were concerned at all.

This is the way it works in a world controlled by Satan.  When I say controlled by, I always mean under the watchful eye of God.  Satan does nothing without God’s permission, yet he is allowed to do what is necessary to bring God’s plans to fruition, even though Satan is fighting for his own ideas and his own future.

There you have it, folks.  Two more indicators of how this world is moving.  At times I wish I could see behind the supernatural curtain that keeps our eyes from penetrating into that spiritual dimension.  Can you imagine the activity?  Can you imagine the malevolence?  No, I don’t really want to see it, at least not in my human state, with an unglorified body and continued presence of the fallen nature.

What can we expect?  More of the same and it will become even more obvious that intolerance toward Christianity and toward the God we worship is the main agenda for the world today.

In actuality, how much longer will it be before we are brought into God’s presence, where we will see our Savior face to face?  I cannot imagine it being that much longer myself.
