Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood v. Coptic Christians

It’s been going on for some time, but under Mubarak, things were kept from getting out of hand.  Now, with the overthrow of Mubarak’s regime, things are getting out of hand.

A number of months ago, I personally heard Mosad Yousef say to the audience of which I was apart, that the Muslim Brotherhood would never be in control in Egypt as there were too many young people who wanted democracy.  He guaranteed it.

Apparently, either he knows nothing about the Middle East or he was lying about what actually happened and would happen.  As it turns out, the Muslim Brotherhood is gaining the upper hand and they are wasting no time in showing their disfavor and disapproval toward any and all Christians who currently live in Egypt.  Churches are being burned by the score, Christians are being attacked with rocks, swords and anything else that’s handy and it certainly seems that Muslim Brotherhood is using force to put people in their place, even if it means destroying their houses of worship and killing them.  Ah well, what’s life to those who believe the rest of the world’s non-Muslim population is made up of infidels, deserving of death?

What I find most interesting is that whether in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, or other places in the northern part of Africa, the United States has been there and interestingly enough, it has been under the watchful eye of Mr. Obama.  People are still upset with Bush for getting us into Iraq, then Afghanistan, but no one seems to be bothered by the fact that United States ground troops have been in various parts of Northern Africa for some time, all under the guise of “democracy.”  What?  That’s right, good ol’ imperialistic democracy.

But wait a minute.  Didn’t Mr. Obama’s alleged father hate the United States because we seemed to be the police for the entire world?  Wasn’t what was viewed as imperialism by the United States something that Mr. Obama’s old man hated and passed along to his son, Mr. Obama?  Huh, that’s interesting.

So let me get this straight, in Dreams of My Father, Mr. Obama lays bare what he felt was wrong with America as understood from his father.  The idea that America would go into various nations under the guise of “peacekeeping” missions, only to wind up telling these nations how to run their governments was something that the likes of Mr. Obama could not stomach.

Yet, here he is in the role of Commander-in-Chief and he is doing the same thing that he originally hated the United States for?  Since the insurgency (that many say was started because of the United States and/or the U.N.), found within countries like the Sudan, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and elsewhere, began one civil war after another that led to the dethronement of the individuals that were in charge of those countries, the United States (and others) have gone into these countries under the guise of creating democracy.  However, it appears that in a number of them (Egypt as one big example), democracy has not had a chance to come to fruition, much less grow throughout that nation.

In fact, it is BECAUSE of the insurgency and America’s support of it, that the Muslim Brotherhood has taken on greater weight and power within the nation of Egypt.  The fact that Coptic Christians are being killed and displaced as they are and that their churches are being destroyed at the rate to which this is occurring tells us that democracy has not had a chance and never will have a chance.

Yet, the current administration continues to support the rising tide of Muslim Brotherhood Islamic ideology in Egypt, which has outmaneuvered not only Coptic Christians, but secular Liberals in that region of the world.

“[O]ver the past few months, Washington has been engaging with Muslim Brotherhood representatives and preparing US public opinion to accept the idea of an Islamist Government in Egypt after the “rushed elections.” President Obama mentioned the Copts in his famous Cairo speech but the Copts are nowhere to be seen in the policies of his Administration. It looks like the Administration has settled for an Egypt shared between the military and the Islamists, while civil society, bloggers, youth and Copts will fall to a second class citizens’ category.” [1]

Is it any surprise that our current administration would be “engaging  with Muslim Brotherhood representatives”?  It shouldn’t be considering the fact that in all likelihood, Mr. Obama is a Muslim bent on supporting Islam by whatever means necessary.

The most tragic part is that millions of dollars is being “invested” in Egypt by paying the military to “keep peace.”  Unfortunately, their version of keeping the peace means gunning down innocent protestors like Coptic Christians who simply want the freedom to worship and to be left alone.  That certainly is not asking too much, but in reality anything that is not Islamic is asking too much, as far as the Brotherhood is concerned.

The Muslim Brotherhood thinks in purely Islamic terms and though it is a religion to them, it is also an ideology, which if allowed, would control every aspect of society.  Case in point:  just today it was announced that an actress in Iran will receive as punishment (for the movie she was in) 90 lashes and one year in jail.  Think about it:  90 LASHES!  That all by itself, is extremely physically and emotionally debilitating and on top of that, she will spend a year in jail.  All because of an acting role she had in the movie “My Tehran for Sale.”

This is what Muslim Brotherhood and other hardline Islamic extremists are all about.  First, they want to take away people’s right to say what is on their minds.  Freedom of speech would go the way of the dinosaur if Islam had its way and the situation with the actress mentioned above is merely one example of it.

Mr. Obama and others in his administration want to “purify” the Internet by making it illegal for hate speech to exist.  The problem with that is that it would be this administration’s definition of what is hate speech.  If we were to do that, a good portion of the Internet would have to be shut down solely because of people who would be accused of making hate speeches.

Yet, we can listen to one of the leaders of the New Black Panthers (after his case was erased by the DOJ) spew his hatred on the streets of Philly.  There, he routinely states that blacks need to start killing “cracker babies.”  Apparently, this is not hate-speech, nor is it considered incitement.  However, if you say something negative (even if TRUE) about Islam, well, prepare to come under charges.  It has been happening in England, The Netherlands, France, Belgium and a myriad of other places throughout Europe and will likely soon begin in the United States, if it hasn’t already.

It is absolutely amazing that Islam continues to receive free passes on nearly all counts whenever they push against the societal norm.  They are exempt apparently.  They are special.  They deserve preferential treatment.

If they want a mosque here, no problem.  Build it.  If they want to enlarge it, no worries, let them enlarge it.  Yet, I know pastors and church families who have been told that they cannot build their church there or there.  They’ve been told that they cannot built it larger than so many square feet.  I know churches that have fought tooth and nail to be able to add on to their existing building and the city fought them every step of the way.  It seems the only people who argue against Islamic encroachment are the citizens.  Too many city councils seem all too quick to give Muslims what they want.  Gee, I wonder if it has anything at all to do with MONEY?  Most churches are supported by the people that attend that church and the money comes from them.  However, Islam is often supported by extremely wealthy Muslims in the Middle East or elsewhere who are all too happy to spread as much money around as possible in order to get the next mosque up and running.

If as Fulford and others have stated, the Cabal is coming to its end (the one that controls America, with George Bush Sr. in charge), I hope it happens soon.  It’s about time some of these criminals head to jail for a long time.  Between them, the Federal Reserve, the Trilateral Commission and a few other groups, they deserve to be stripped of their power and made to repay what they’ve stolen from the American people.

Maybe when that happens, fewer politicians will be “bought” and fewer favors will be given to those who have purchased those favors.

In the meantime, the tragedies continue in places like Egypt where if one happens to be outside the Islamic ideology, better look out.  Your life is certainly in jeopardy and there is really no one in this world who is looking out for your interests.  Don’t expect this administration of the U.S. to help, because they are too concerned about making sure that the Muslim Brotherhood comes out on top!
