There is Jihad and then there is Stealth Jihad

Most people who even think about “jihad” think about suicide bombers and men dressed in robes and sandals carrying AK-47s and grenade launchers screaming “Allahu Akbar!” when they have successfully killed innocent people because they believe Allah is pleased when they do so.  Of course, we must remember that to the radical Muslim mindset, the only good Jew is a dead Jew so in that sense, Jews are never “innocent.”  Those who support Jews or Israel itself are also not innocent.  So you see how this works?  In essence, the radical suicide bomber never really kills an innocent person or persons.  They simply kill people who are opposed to Islam, therefore, they are opposed to Allah.

What Islam does not want us to consider carefully is the notion of “stealth jihad,” a term that is used to describe how Islamists use a “non-violent form of jihad that undermines America’s culture and Constitution.” [1]  This occurs in several ways and it is something that Imams and Muslims in general here in the United States try their best to pretend that stealth jihad does not exist at all, but it is something that is in the overworked imaginations of Americans and others.  The unfortunate part of this is that many people would agree with those Muslims who take this viewpoint.

I would be willing to bet that most of us have experienced being “played” by someone we thought was a friend.  Outwardly, they treated us fairly and acted like a friend.  Inwardly, they were something else entirely and eventually that facade that they present to us breaks down and we see the truth about them.

This is what con men are made of and it is why they are often so successful, leaving a trail of victims behind them as they increase their fortunes along the way.  Con men are by their very nature, extremely duplicitous.  They are actors extraordinaire.  They love what they do and they do it well.

It is difficult for me to believe that a Muslim can be a good Muslim without being a good Islamist.  In other words, to be a valuable part of Islam, one must be sold out to Allah and be willing to do whatever is necessary to accomplish worldwide caliphate for Islam.

Whether they think so or not, those Muslims who consider themselves to be moderates are merely red herrings.  I’m not saying that they know or are deliberately red herrings.  They may actually believe they are moderates, peaceful Muslims simply wishing to live in peace with their neighbors.

However, because these Muslims are not willing to take a serious stand against their radical counterparts, they inevitably wind up presenting a cover for them.  It seems to be the greatest form of propaganda that exists.

For instance, “All-American Muslim,” a new “reality” show on TLC showcases the lives of so-called normal Muslims living in Dearborn, MI.  Problems with the show are many.  First, Dearborn has become the capitol of Islam in America.  Every year an Arab Festival occurs and while there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, some of the problems that have resulted from it, with the arrests of a number of members of the evangelical team “Acts 17” as merely one example.  In spite of the fact that Acts 17 did nothing to provoke Arabs, and the Arabs were the ones who started the physical attacks (pushing, shoving, spitting, etc.), the police arrived and arrested members of the Acts 17 team.  They were tried and fully acquitted of all charges, which means that the police (complicit with the mayor) falsely arrested people who were not breaking the law.

But what you see on “All-American Muslim” is nothing like this.  The program does not highlight the multitude of problems that exist not only in Dearborn but throughout Michigan because of the Islamic presence.  Instead, the program focuses on a few Muslim couples who allegedly have the same problems that the average American experiences.  We see on Muslim male discussing what he likes in women.  We see two Muslim women – one with a head covering and one without – discussing their children or schools.  It’s all very normal.

The problem though is that there is nothing normal about Islam.  Islam was born out of violence, its main prophet lived by the sword, and to this end Islam exists today.  The entirety of Islam is one of violent take-over of civilization in order to enter into another caliphate, where the world will be once again ruled by Islam.  The last caliphate was the Ottoman Dynasty, but Islam looks to a future caliphate when the final mahdi will rule in peace.  This peace though is only peace because Islam will have the upper hand.

Today, I read on the ‘Net that a Baptist group has decided that they will not allow interracial couples to become members.  Not everyone in that small church in Kentucky feels that way and because of it, arguments have broken out.  Should churches ban interracial couples from becoming members?  Nope.  I don’t see that in Scripture at all and what that church leadership is doing is wrong, in my opinion.

If the church I attended wanted to do the same thing, I would stand up and speak against it.  If they persisted, I would leave that church.  Moderate Muslims seem unwilling to condemn the actions of their militant counterparts, preferring instead to attempt to vilify someone like myself who is trying to educate people about Islam.

Yesterday, I received a response to my article about Muslims demanding that people stop saying “Merry Christmas!” and his response was interesting to say the least.  He apparently thought that if he presented his information in such a matter-of-fact way, I would have little to no response.  Here is what he said.

“What a shame that in this day and age we still have prejudice instead of tolerance, that we still must face the hatred of others who refuse to see the likenesses in our religion rather than the differences, and that we must suffer the ignorance of others about our religion when clearly the verses in Qur’an are only meant for defense and not aggression or oppression of others. In fact, non-Muslims have certain rights given them that Muslims don’t have. Did you know for example that non-Muslims can live in a Muslim country and opt out of serving in the military? Yet they enjoy the protection it serves them. This blog clearly shows that there are many who still need to be educated about Islam. And here, I will say it, “Merry Christmas”, even though the holiday predates Christianity and its origin is pagan. Even though it was not a holiday which entered the church until the year 325 AD at the Council of Nicea. Even though the bible clearly states in the book of Jeremiah that we “should not do as the pagans do and fix a tree with nails and decorate it in gold and silver”. Even though most biblical scholars say Jesus was not born on December 25th. And even though the people who benefit from the holiday most are not the needy of the world, they are the department stores selling the lights and gifts to family and friends which are seldom appreciated. So while the children are crying from swollen empty bellies in Africa and Palestine (where Palestinian Christians suffer as much as their Muslim neighbors at the hands of Zionists), “Merry Christmas” to you.

If you read his comments carefully, a number of things jump out at you.

1. he refuses to condemn any Muslim even radicals
2. he prefers to believe that jihad has to do with the “inner struggle,” not the outward, physical struggle against Islam’s enemies
3. while he states that the verses in the Qur’an are physical in nature, they are to be used as a means of defense, not aggression
4. he tries to point out that non-Muslims have greater benefits under a caliphate than do Muslims
5. he tries to point the finger at Christianity and its “hypocrisy”
6. he condemns “zionists” as the real problem

He starts off attempting to implicate me as someone who is “intolerant” and “uneducated.”  Rather than being willing to admit that there are many Muslims who have taken the Qur’an literally and view anyone outside Islam as the enemy, he shifts the focus to me, to Christianity, and to “Zionists.”

This is a form of “stealth jihad” because he is trying to educate through fault-finding of the one who posted the blog in the first place; me.

I would wholeheartedly agree with him that it is a shame to see the type of intolerance that exists today.  Of course, he meant my intolerance, but completely ignores the intolerance of radical Muslims throughout the world.  I haven’t killed anyone.  I use this blog as a means of educating people about Islam.  For that, he views me as uneducated and intolerant.  The fact of the matter is that ALL radical Muslims are intolerant, hateful, and uneducated.  However, he finds no reason to condemn them or their actions.

He points out that “we must suffer the ignorance of others about our religion when clearly the verses in Qur’an are only meant for defense and not aggression or oppression of others.”  He says this as if understanding the Qur’an metaphorically is universally understood!  The truth is that countless Muslims understand the Qur’an literally and because of it, believe they have the right to attack those outside of Islam without provocation.  Yet, he pretends that these radicals do not exist, or that their numbers are so small, they are not worth mentioning.  In truth, the Qur’an forbids him from speaking against another Muslim, so he dutifully avoids the subject altogether.

What we are seeing in this day and age is a rise in anti-Semitism, the likes of which we have not seen since Hitler’s day.  Robert Spencer (Jihad Watch) points out that in one of his books, “Stealth Jihad: How Radical Islam Is Subverting America without Guns or Bombs.

Pam Meister from Family Security Matters points out the same thing and quotes parts of Spencer’s book.  She says, “Those of us who get the bulk of our news from the Internet are probably aware of pro-Hamas rallies that have taken place across the nation over the last couple of weeks. To name just a couple: in Los Angeles, the Islamists chanted “Heil Hitler,” “death to the Jews,” “death to Israel” and “down, down, USA!” In Fort Lauderdale, Jews were exhorted to “go back to the ovens.” As Spencer noted, “Never before in American history have we seen people openly, on American soil, and in full light of video cameras, saying that they want to see a renewal of a genocidal ambition, and they want to see a whole people exterminated.” [2]

We hear this more and more routinely.  In fact, it has become so common that no one seems bothered by it.  Do we hear about it in the mainstream news though?  According to Meister, “So where was the mainstream media? Aside from a story on the Fort Lauderdale event on FOX News, they were nowhere to be seen. I understand the thrill of covering Michelle Obama’s plans for redecorating the White House and the Obama children’s first day at their new school, but one would think rallies that advocate genocide might garner a little interest from the free press that prides itself on bringing us all the news we need to know. As a result of their negligence, many Americans remain in the dark. “This ought to be the largest story of the last 20 years,” said Spencer. So why isn’t it?” [3; emphasis added]

Note the bolded sentence above.  This is what Islamists in this country hope for and expect.  They count on the fact that most Americans have no clue because this works in their favor.

The imam who wrote me (and whom I quoted above) was nonchalant in his approach and took on the approach of a teacher informing a student.  He hoped that I did not know as much as I do about Islam.

Last week, when I voiced my concerns about halal-compliant turkeys being sold by Butterball, I noted on their forum on their social networking page, a number of people responded with sarcasm and disdain.  To them, a turkey that was halal-compliant was no big deal and since I was complaining about it, I was obviously a bigot or worse.

The truth is that Butterball is guilty of stealth jihad.  They did not announce this new procedure to make their turkeys halal-compliant.  They told no one about the ceremonies surrounding the process that made the turkeys halal-compliant.  Butterball did not separate some of the turkeys for halal-compliance while keeping some that would not go through the process.  In doing so, I cannot help but wonder how many orthodox Jews may have eaten one of their turkeys without knowing that they were eating a turkey that had been dedicated to Allah?  This was lost on most people who simply thought that I was making a mountain out of a molehill.

Even Christians on the forum were too busy quoting Jesus when he spoke about the fact that eating food does not make a person unclean.  Of course, these same individuals seemed not to notice the admonitions by Paul in Romans 14 and 1 Corinthians 8.

One has to wonder as well why Butterball decided to keep secret the fact that they made all of their turkeys halal-compliant?  Kosher foods are not done in secret.  They are plainly labeled as Kosher.  Not so with halal-compliant foods.  You have to really dig by going to a website like halalchoices.com to find out what’s halal-compliant and what is not.  You might want to check it out to find out if your favorite candy bar is on the list.

But let’s get back to our friendly Oklahoman Imam (he said he was from a small town in Oklahoma).  Note how he tried to turn the tables on me – a Christian – by quoting from Jeremiah where the prophet talks about not “do[ing] as the pagans do and fix a tree with nails and decorate it in gold and silver” which was supposed to point out my alleged hypocrisy.  Of course, what the imam did not realize is that Jeremiah was talking to Jews, of the nation of Israel.  I am not Jewish and I am not part of the nation of Israel, therefore I am under no obligation to observe that rule, no more than I am under the obligation to ensure that I do not boil a kid goat in its mother’s milk.

As I pointed out to the imam, a little knowledge puffs up, which is what he has concerning the Bible.  I’m sure some Islamic leader went through the Bible to pick and choose some verses that could be used against Christians.  Orthodox Jews do the same thing.  What they fail to realize is that unlike the Qur’an, the Bible actually has a context and if we try to interpret the Bible separate from that context, we can make it say anything we want it to say.

The Qur’an – on the other hand – has very little to no context at all.  What we can do is determine when during the life of Muhammad he allegedly said what he said.  For instance, the imam believes that the verses in the Qur’an clearly show that a Muslim can defend himself but is not to be aggressive without cause toward others.  Unfortunately, Muhammad’s life did not agree with this and it is clear that on a number of occasions, he attacked Jews and others who were minding their own business.  I will take some time in future blogs to specifically address these times.

When it is either an imam or the liberal media trying to prop up Islam either by misrepresenting it or by ignoring the genocide rallies noted above, we see stealth jihad at work.  The media for the most part has become complicit with Islam in their attempts to overthrow many of the freedoms that most Americans take for granted.

I recall years ago, while living in California, a neighbor who worked for the Sheriff’s department told me that we really had no clue how our gun rights were being eroded.  Most of it we never even heard about until after a law was passed.

I can tell you that things in California are not looking good for gun owners.  There are many lawsuits against gun ranges pending.  In spite of the fact that legislation was defeated in the courts regarding citizens being forced to buy ammo face-to-face, more legislation is on the way.  It would seem that politicians in California want to outlaw ammo as much as possible.  Some want to negate the ability to purchase it on the Internet.  Others want to add a waiting period to any ammo purchase as if any of this will affect gangbangers and criminals.  Laws only affect law-abiding people, but politicians will be able to wear a button on their sleeve proclaiming how they have made California a safer place.  For who?

Here in Georgia, things are completely different, but of course, that varies from state to state.  Over Thanksgiving, we were in South Carolina and stopped in at a Bass Pro Shop.  We were looking at guns and my son wanted to check out a Beretta.  The man behind the counter asked him if he was 21 and he’s not, so he was not allowed to hold the gun.

People who are anti-gun are not bothered by these laws.  They welcome them and applaud them because they agree with them.  However, when it comes to Islam, most are unaware of what is happening behind the scenes.  Most do not know how our rights and privileges are being eroded because of Islam.

When Muslims come to this country to live, they expect to maintain their Islamic lifestyle.  This means that when they go into public, if they wore burkas in their previous country, they continue wearing them here.  No problem, right?  Except when it comes to having their pictures taken for a driver’s license.  Or, having to remove their long scarves while on rides at some amusement park for safety.

Last year Six Flags had a “Muslim Day” in which park employees were expected to dress appropriately.  This meant that women employees needed to button all the way up, wear longer skirts to not show much leg, and be very careful of using inappropriate language so as not to offend.  That’s interesting, because no one cares if I a – as a Christian – am offended when I hear some park employee swear or use off-color language, but for Muslims, we’ll make an exception.

When I contacted the park and asked them when they were going to have a “Christian Day,” I was told that they have Christian bands throughout the year.  I countered that it was not in the least like having a “Muslim Day” where one particular group was given priority over another.  Six Flags would never have a “Christian Day” for a variety of reasons.  Can you imagine the atheists who would crawl out from under every rock to boycott such an event?  Either that, or they would enter the park en masse swearing and doing whatever they could so as to offend Christians.  These same atheists would not dare do this for “Muslim Day.”

So why are Muslims getting special treatment?  Why is it they are seen as an “underclass” that needs to be helped up, so to speak?  It is because the average person has no clue of Islam’s true intent.

I am not saying that we need to hate Muslims!  I am not saying that we need to protest the fact that Muslims are here in America!  What I am saying is that Americans need to become far more aware of the true nature of Islam and how Islam is changing the landscape of America.

Just because someone is anti-gun and approves of all the anti-gun measures that are rolling through legislatures, does not mean that others should sit still and do nothing.  It is the same with Islam.  Islam demands special privileges and too often receives them.

People really need to start asking themselves why they feel “sympathy” toward Islam.  Moreover, they need to ask why Islam is receiving so many privileges that no other group in America receives.  These are important questions to ask and consider.

People also need to start studying on their own about Islam; what it means, where it came from, and where it is headed.  A little knowledge puffs up, or makes someone dangerous.  Complete knowledge about something is what actually activates critical thinking and helps people to make informed decisions.

Stealth jihad is a phrase that describes how many Islamists remain under the radar, attempting to change the fabric of American society from within.  They are not going to use bombs because they want America for themselves.  To Islam, America remains the Great Satan and must be destroyed.

The Muslims today who consider themselves to be moderate or peaceful may not be.  We unfortunately have no way of knowing and while that sounds paranoid, it is the scope of reality.  When push comes to shove, the moderate Muslim will be given the choice by the radical Muslim: adopt the radical Muslim’s approach or die.  Most will adopt when they realize that they are outnumbered and can do nothing to defend themselves.

CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad “In 1998, Ahmad said before an audience of Muslims, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” [1]

Whether or not Muslims are moderate, peaceful, or radical, the fact that we have in America an organization like CAIR that enjoys protection under the very Constitution that it seeks to overthrow tells us a great deal.  It really doesn’t matter that there are moderate or peaceful Muslims.  The thing that matters is that there are radicals like Omar Ahmad who literally believe that their mission is to become dominant in the United States and the world.

The imam who wrote me chided me because of my alleged intolerance.  However, faced with statements by people like Ahmad, it is clear that I am not the one who is intolerant at all.
