Facts and Figures on Voter Fraud

November 21, 2012 at 11:51 AM 2 comments

This is certainly a hot button issue for many people.  Those who supported Mr. Obama’s bid for a second term see absolutely nothing amiss with the voting that took place across America.  Others that do not support him believe that voter fraud was very much part of the picture.  These folks are essentially relegated to the “sour grapes” part of the auditorium.

Does voter fraud exist?  Is there potential for voter fraud to be part of any regional or national election?  Because of human nature, I certainly think anything is possible.  With the invention of voting machines, I also believe voter fraud has become much easier to get away with in many instances.

Do I believe that voter fraud played a viable part in this most recent election?  Yes, I do and I have no problem admitting that it was part of the human reasons as to why Mr. Obama won by a landslide.  Before I go any further though, I would like to state emphatically and unequivocally, that God and God alone decreed the final outcome of this last election.  Is that a contradiction?  Nope, not if we take into consideration the various situations that occurred in Scripture that prove to us that even though God oversaw the outcome to certain events, we also learn that individual human beings were held responsible for that outcome.  Is that a contradiction?  Certainly not as far as God is concerned.

David Can Count
Let’s look at just a few of them briefly, all right?  In two separate sections of Scripture, we are told of the same incident, but from a completely different perspective.  In 1 Chronicles 21, we learn that David counts his troops.  Problem?  Yes, God did not want him relying on physical numbers.  He wanted David to rely on God.  But wait! In 2 Samuel 24, we read of the same incident except this time, notice that God is the One who prompted David to count the troops.  Why?  Because God was angry with Israel, so He inspired David to count the troops because of doubting.  This would allow God to bring judgment on Israel later on.

However, in the 1 Chronicles account, the chapter starts off with this startling observation:  “Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel.”  So here, Satan is blamed.

However, in 2 Samuel 24:1, we read that “Again the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, ‘Go and take a census of Israel and Judah’.”  In this situation, it is the Lord who is said to have incited David.  Wow, must be a contradiction, huh?  No, the Lord likely used Satan to directly incite David to count the troops, but He (God) takes credit for it.  We forget that Satan does God’s bidding.  We think he is out there on his own, as a firebrand, doing whatever he wants.  Not true.

Granted, these are very brief summaries of two sections of Scripture and the outcome, along with different perspectives.  So which account is the true account?  They both are true.  They are only reported from differing perspectives.  In each case, David was the one who counted the troops and we see the human reasons why David counted the troops, even though God ordained it.  No contradiction.

Gog Can Think
How about in Ezekiel 38-39?  Here we learn of a man named Gog (a title, like General).  Here is what the text says about Gog.  ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince ofMeshech and Tubal.I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you,” (Ezekiel 38:3-6).

Notice that in this section of Scripture, we learn that because God is against Gog, He (God) forces Gog to gather his troops from many nations in order to go against Israel.  Why does God do this?  Because of the outcome that God will bring against Gog.  He does this for His (God’s) glory and Gog’s utter destruction.  It is interesting to me that because God is against Gog, He (God) will be the One to forcibly cause Gog to turn around and take notice of Israel.

In verse 10, God points out to Gog that on a particular day, “thoughts will come into” his mind and he will desire to attack Israel.  So the complete outcome is thoroughly governed by God Himself, but we are also privy to the human reasons why Gog decides to go after Israel (“You will say, ‘I will invade a land of unwalled village’…“; verse 11 and following).  That’s the human reason, but God controls the outcome according to His purposes.

Judas Can Betray
In Matthew 26, we learn about Jesus’ view of Judas.  Jesus says in verse 24, “The Son of Man is to go, just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.”

Here, it becomes clear that Judas was used in God’s great prophetic plan related to salvation.  He was the one who actually did the betraying of Christ, but it was also written about him way before hand.  Did God make Judas do something that he would not otherwise done?  No.  God simply used Judas because God knew that Judas would do this.  So God controlled the outcome, thereby fulfilling the prophecies related to this incident.  At the same time, from the eternal perspective, God controlled the outcome related to Christ’s betrayal.  No contradiction.

People Can Cheat
Voter fraud is the direct result of people cheating.  They want to ensure a specific outcome, so they do everything they can, including cheating at the voting booth, to bring their desired result to fruition.  There have been many examples of actual voter fraud in our nation’s history.  That is fact.

But the question of whether or not voter fraud was actively used in our most recent election is the concern of many.  As pointed out, there are many people who do not believe it was, or that it was so inconsequential that it amounted to nothing.  Most of these people supported Mr. Obama.  But it is interesting to me how many people I run into who did not support Mr. Obama and also believe that voter fraud played no discernible part in the election.  They scoff at the idea.

Well, to those people, I generally refer them to True the Vote, a group that has done a good amount of research on the issue and has arrived to some very interesting conclusions.  I won’t bore you with all the details, but I will include some of them here, along with a link to their site so that you can read further details yourself.

In a nutshell, True the Vote reports the following information (with documentation; I’ve left the hyperlinks in for your ease):

I think the above information deserves some attention, don’t you?  Yet, what did we have prior to this election?  Eric Holder’s DOJ repeatedly tried to halt efforts by states to clean up their voter lists.  Holder also fought against photo ID use saying it was too costly for poor people.  Mr. Obama won huge in every state that did not have any type of photo ID law in place.  Coincidence?

There are other issues related to voter fraud that need to be addressed as well.  Does voter fraud exist?  I think it’s very clear that at the very least, the potential for it to exist is there.  With 24 million invalid registrations, nearly 2 million dead people still on the voter rolls, and more, it is ripe for problems.  Yet, the Federal gov’t won’t allow the states to do much if anything about it.

What’s it going to take?  Well, obviously, if every American citizen demanded that the Federal gov’t actually did something, it might.  Or, we might also be on the receiving end of more stonewalling, as they have done with Fast and Furious and now Benghazi.

Governments Can Be Corrupt
Let’s face it, from all appearances, our government has become completely corrupt from the inside out.  While that does not mean that every individual person in Congress or one of the other branches of our government is corrupt, it certainly means that the entire system has been corrupted.  I personally do not believe there is any hope for it as it is because a complete overhaul or replacement is needed.

The unfortunate part is that forces have been at work to corrupt our government almost from the beginning, so it seems that they have had roughly 200 plus years of a head start on the rest of us.  Now that we actually see the full level of corruption, it may well be too late.

We see what’s happening with Benghazi and are dumbfounded.  We first hear what turn out to be lies from the Obama administration.  Then, when we learn that what we heard were lies, a whole lot of soft shoe and sleight of hand takes place.  First, it was the State Department’s fault.  Then memos were “leaked” showing that it could not have been the State Dept.  Then, it became Petraeus’ fault from the CIA.  I guess he would not play ball and accept the blame so he was forced out.  However, he testified anyway and we learned that he included references to terrorism in memos to the White House.

But wait! We now learn the head of National Intelligence (oxymoron, to be sure), James Clapper first said one thing, then changed his mind to the opposite now saying that he was the one who removed the references to terrorists/terrorism in the memo from the CIA.  He also states that he did so with the approval of both the FBI and the CIA. [2]

Obviously, someone is lying, but is that even a crime anymore if you’re part of the government in high places?  It doesn’t appear to be.

Look, people of course will continue to believe what they want about whether or not voter fraud was part of the election.  In spite of anything to the contrary, some will continue to believe the government, except for a few glitches here and there, is fine.  Regardless of True the Vote or any other group that attempts to show that voter fraud is part of the issue related to voting, most will deny the reality of it.  That’s fine.

My ultimate belief is that voter fraud was part of the most recent elections, but God had final say regarding the outcome.  In other words, God decreed that Mr. Obama would be re-elected but from the human perspective, voter fraud helped bring that about.  Contradiction?  Not all all.  You may not like the implications of it, but I cannot help that.

God Does Control
Ultimately, God has decreed that Mr. Obama remain in office for another four years.  Why?  As I’ve been stating all along, God needs this world to get to a point where it becomes one in purpose.  This is what Nimrod tried to do in Genesis 11 because Satan prompted him to do it.  God put a kabosh on that, but Satan continued to try.  God allowed it and here we are today on the cusp of becoming a global society that will merge capitalism with socialism.

The elite wants a world where they will be fully in charge and will benefit from their capitalistic ideas without competition.  It also wants a world where only the elite truly benefits.  The rest of us will be part of the socialistic society they set up for us.  It will be their dream come true and they cannot wait!  According to the Bible, God is going to allow it.

The Growing Threat to Israel What People Do Not Realize…

Don’t bother that the mule’s blind, just keep loading the cart! In the end which is the bigger problem, voter fraud or the voters who roll over and play dead? Remember the Democratic National Convention? An OBVIOUS majority of members on the floor voted no, keep God out of the platform. The ‘leaders’ counting the votes said ” the ayes have it’.

Can it be fraud if it is overt? I’d call it intimidation.

Again you are spot on in that if it’s in the past God must have allowed it.

Very interesting, Dan. “Intimidation.” That’s good and it’s probably accurate. It seems that voter fraud has been so overplayed in this last election, those who were involved in it almost seem to be daring anyone to say anything about it.
