Walk-Ins? Really?

It’s really interesting to me to see how various groups of people view things happening in the world. Clearly, the world is in a constant state of flux; a continued upheaval. Yet, when you speak with people across the spectrum of politics, they provide different answers as to why this is the case. The Left blames the Right. The Right blames the Left. Christians blame Satan who works through people knowingly or unknowingly given over to him and his purposes. The truth certainly appears to be that Satan is quite busy doing whatever he can to override God’s will and purposes. If we simply look at the events occurring throughout global society, it would be rather easy to say that evil is winning. Of course, that’s not true, and even the people who agree with the upheaval do not necessarily see things as evil.

For instance, because of the war in Syria, millions of Muslims from 3rd world countries are being forced by the UN and various individual leaders of nations to accept these refugees. It’s the humanitarian thing to do, we are told. Anyone who doesn’t like the idea is labeled “racist,” “bigoted, “fascist,” or all three.

But we don’t hear too much about the Syrian war anymore. It’s clear that certain world leaders want Assad to step down. President Obama called for that to happen during his second term in office. Qaddafi, Mubarak, Assad, and others were either “allowed” to step down or were forcibly removed. The question is why was that the case? We’ve dealt with that issue previously and it seems apparent that globalist leaders want control of the Middle East and specifically, Israel and Jerusalem. There’s plenty of oil and natural gas to be had; natural resources that the Elite want to gain control over and they can’t do that unless they have a stooge or puppet in as leader who will do whatever he/she is told to do. We see this with numerous world leaders like Angela Merkel, who is most likely an agent (or front) for powerful people who remain in the shadows. She has gained financially and even been given awards for her efforts to force EU nations to accept Muslims. A few countries like Poland and Hungary are fighting back and resisting Merkel’s efforts. Unfortunately, when your nation is part of the EU, you are expected to do the bidding of EU leaders. We’ll see how that works out.

But it is also very telling that President Erdogan of Turkey has threatened to send millions of Muslims from Turkey to other parts of the world for resettlement. Why is there supposedly a “need” to resettle millions of Muslims from Turkey to other nations around the globe? It may very well be that world leaders are using the Syrian crisis as an excuse to overwhelm civilized nations with 3rd world Muslims; many of whom are only really interested in growing a new and final caliphate throughout the world. We’ve seen what has been happening in England, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, and elsewhere. Muslims do not want to assimilate, which tells us that for them, Sharia law is the only compliant way of life. They use that mentality to ignore laws of nations into which they are settled and too often, courts give them a pass. Obviously, something is very wrong.

What is also interesting to me is what we learn from New Age teachings because they help us identify principles being used by leaders of the world now. If we simply look at the world, we might think that chaos is approaching. Something is certainly happening that is meant to usher in something else and of course, New Agers would say that the something coming is something better than what we have now.

While many look forward to these changes and are anxious to see them and even help make them happen, others looks aghast at them because of the underlying strong current of Marxism underneath the growing societal conflict. Neither Marxism or Socialism has ever achieved anything good…for the average person. The only people who benefit from either “ism” are those in power or their immediate subordinates, whom they require. Their needs are always cared for and they never go without.

Just a quick glance at Venezuela today shows us what Socialism creates, yet we have people in elected positions in America like Bernie Sanders who constantly give us pep talks about the alleged benefits of Socialism. He does this all the while owning at least three expensive homes and some sources estimate his net worth as just being shy of a million dollars. But for years he’s been a public servant and one can only wonder how so many public servants (on both sides of the aisle) become as wealthy as some do? The point is that while Bernie Sanders may talk the talk about Socialism, he does not live it.

Regarding the New Age, for years many of the self-appointed leaders within that loosely knit quasi-religious movement have made all sorts of assertions and claims regarding the future. Again, we’ve highlighted many of those assertions here in past articles. But what is interesting is what people like Ruth Montgomery have told us will happen in the future (from her viewpoint during the 1990’s). She’s written highly-acclaimed New Age books “automatically” from, she says, a group of spirit guides.

Montgomery talks a great deal about the subject of “walk-ins” in her books. One in particular book – Herald of the New Age – has quite a bit to say about “aliens” and “walk-ins” and how these spirits (or beings), will greatly help global society move toward a new and final age. For those who don’t know, the New Age defines a “walk-in” as a spirit who takes up residence inside a person while that person’s spirit willingly transfers somewhere else. According to New Age teachings, the reason this happens is due to the belief that the original spirit cannot develop any further, so it agrees to change places with another, more highly advanced spirit. If this sounds weird, it’s because it’s really part and parcel of the overall belief in the system of reincarnation that is not only part of the New Age, but numerous religions from of old. Remember, in the New Age, reincarnation is a big deal and a person’s spirit travels through one person and another in different life experiences to work out their karma and eventually get to a point of what could be labeled “perfection.”

What the New Age calls “walk-ins,” Christians would probably call demonic possession or at the very least, a completely incorrigible and depraved individual. It can happen when people willingly give themselves over to evil. Romans 1 is very clear about it and as we progress through that chapter, we learn that even apart from demonic possession, human beings can become so evil, so darkened in their thinking that they act and think more like brute beasts than humans. (Watch a few videos of AntiFa or BLM acting like they normally act and you’ll see what I mean.) This occurs because they spend so much time chaffing against the idea of “God” and want nothing to do with Him that God finally “throws” them over to their reprobate mind and darkened thinking (Romans 1:24-28). The final result of this is clearly outlined in verses 29-32.

They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. (NIV; emphasis added)

In the above verses, there is no mention of any type of direct possession by demons and certainly nothing that has anything to do with “walk-ins.” The clear ramifications of the biblical text is that a human being can become so perverse, so evil, so repugnant in their thinking, speaking, and actions, and this can happen without demons necessarily promoting it. At the same time, it can be the result of demonic activity because the above description is their goal and defines what they themselves are like.

Satan and his dark forces exist to bring this about in each and every human being. Fallen angels live to thwart God and they often do this by turning His divine order on its head, using human beings to achieve those ends. This is why we have what we have in society today with transgenderism and/or people who believe gender is fluid and they don’t want to be pinned down on it.

There is a great deal taught within the New Age that of course is diametrically opposed to the truth of God as revealed in Scripture. But beyond this, there is a great deal of talk and discussion about aliens, walk-ins, and other beings who are allegedly helping guide our global society to the next phase, the Age of Aquarius, where everything will be perfect.

Many within the New Age see all of the chaos occurring in society now as the “birth pains” before that new age dawns. As that chaos grows New Agers will give themselves over more earnestly to the tenets of reincarnation and philosophies like that. They believe that it is through those anti-God venues that they will achieve the perfection they seek. The chaos is coming, but they will not see it as being God’s arm of judgment against godlessness. They will see it as the pains of global new birth that will usher in their Utopia. Many leaders within the New Age believe these birth pains will last for seven (7) years, coincidentally the same length of time as the coming Tribulation in which God pours out His judgment on humankind.

Christians understand that these birth pains are the ones described by Jesus in His Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. These birth pains will lead to a “new age” but it will not be the Age of Aquarius that so many yearn for and seek. The present birth pains will lead to and incorporate the seven years of Tribulation, which will end in the physical return of Jesus. When that happens, those alive will experience abject horror (unless they know the Savior, of course).

If we stop and consider it, the fall of humanity occurred because Adam and Eve no longer wanted to be under God’s thumb. They tried to reject His rule and remove themselves from the “chains” of His authority because Satan told them they could be their own gods. Humanity has been trying to become our own gods with every generation since the Fall. We are leading to a time in society when the world will actually believe they’ve done that. The Antichrist will step up and lead the entire world away from God. Society will willingly follow.

The subjects of walk-ins is a deceptive concept. The belief among many within the New Age is that many of our current leaders are “walk-ins”; individual spirits so advanced and who have chosen this specific time to be in adult bodies, that people follow them willingly while ignoring all of the illicit things they do for selfish gain. These leaders are often charismatic (not in the sign gifts sense), and because of it, they tend to mesmerize people. A coming delusion sent by God Himself will ensure this (2 Thessalonians 2:11).

Consider Bill Clinton. The man is allegedly a rapist who has gotten away with it. Even though he had an affair with one person that we know of, other women have accused Clinton of raping them. He was investigated and even impeached, but remained in office because there were not enough votes in Congress to remove him from the presidency. Today, people on the Left have no qualms about Bill Clinton. They see him as a captivating leader, a many who only wants what is best for society. He’s extremely intelligent, can speak off the cuff, and allegedly has a photographic memory. He is certainly a seemingly congenial individual who appears to know how to lead. Few know what he’s like in private though.
