Beginnings of Sorrows?
I don’t know what tomorrow will bring for my life, much less two months from now. But God knows. Not only that, His timing and will take precedence over everything. So my job is to be in tune with God as much as I can possibly be while living in a world that absolutely hates Him and all who follow Him. What I find fascinating is that I rarely think of the Rapture at all. It’s simply not something that’s in my front vision. What I do see are all the problems, corruption and evil in this world and know that God will sort it all out. In the meantime, I expect things to get worse and if I did not know better, it’s almost seems as though the Tribulation has begun, based on what I’ve said about the first four seals of Revelation 6. Though we could simply be in the “beginnings of sorrows” phase.
White Horse and Rider?
Revelation 6:1 introduces a rider on a white horse. What’s he all about? He clearly conquers politically because he has no weapons; a bow with no arrows. But what type of political conquering is he doing and what is his purpose? It seems as though he is first among various riders to gain more control over the world’s populace. Has that been happening?
Ready to Go Gluten Free?
I believe this is why Jesus specifically points out the coming famine (#5 above). When CV (pestilence), was first revealed and economies went into lock-down (the first time in history in all my 65 years of living), the supply chain immediately began to take a hit. Most didn’t realize it at the time because things were still available in those “essential” stores that were allowed to stay open. Then we began to hear about the shipping container situation and how things were stalled in China’s ports as well as ports on both the east and west sides of the USA. Many ports were shut down due to CV, so nothing moved.
Are Globalists Winning?
Globalists may appear to be winning, but their end will come when our Lord returns physically to this planet to judge the nations and establish His Millennial Kingdom. Our job is to watch, work and pray while we wait for that glorious event.
Life Is Bittersweet
As I look to the horizon, seeing as far as I can see (which isn’t that far), I realize that life has seriously changed and not for the better and will continue on that path. We are experiencing extremely high fuel prices, which of course, affects everything else and the result is serious inflation. The folks in DC appear to be doing absolutely nothing to help the situation at all, but seem intent on allowing things to worsen. Who knows where it will end? Since I am not a prophet, I certainly have no way of knowing. God has not clued me on on the end result of this situation.
Narrow Your Prayer Focus
I’m suggesting we change focus so that the focus is more on things closer to home; family, friends, church people and those around you that you know are unsaved. It is far easier for me to believe that God hears those prayers and will respond favorably, as opposed to prayers to change the course of this world. His Word teaches us that this is not going to happen until everything has played out according to the perfection of His will.
Spirit of Antichrist Rising
The digitization of global society via 5G Internet/WiFi network is a major step in putting things in place that will ultimately allow the coming man of sin to not only gain control of this entire world, but will effectively be able to mold the way people think in real time.
Perspective: Because He…
So where do we go from here? What does the Christian do to overcome the negativity, the bad news, the effects of Satan being allowed to control more and more of global society? There is only one thing I am aware of and I will admit I’m not great at putting it into practice…yet, but I am working on getting there.
Growing Away
But the globalists got what they wanted because a very large percentage of church-goers stopped going and have never gone back. It has become the way for too many today. Our kids, unfortunately, are among them. Now, they would argue that they have small children who take naps during the time of church service and to disrupt their children’s routine is something they want to avoid. I get it. My wife gets it. In fact, since we raised our own children, we absolutely get it. However, we always found a way to be fairly consistent in attending church. The great falling away?
Revelation: 70 Weeks and Rev 4
In a nutshell, the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:24-27 is really an extension or take-off on the 70 years that Daniel had been reading about in the writings of Jeremiah, where he predicted that Israel would be thrown out of their land and taken captive for that length of time. As Daniel read this passage from Jeremiah (Jeremiah 25:11-12; 29:10), he realized that the 70 year period was almost up and of course, he was very excited about that. This lead him to pray his heartfelt prayer in the first 19 verses of Daniel 9.
