Van Tassel, in the 1950’s, held public meetings where the public could ask questions of Ashtar and where answers would be provided, channelling their information through Van Tassel. The Ashtar Command revelations were compiled into a book that details future events that will take place on the earth. Interestingly, Ashtar himself is said to be, “a Beloved Christian Commander and a very beautiful Being.” [3] Fascinating, isn’t it? Angel of light maybe to deceive? I think so. I do not know what will happen, but I will say that we are living in incredibly dangerous times. But we are also living in times that God fully controls because He is sovereign. There is nothing to fear. God has our backs as long as we remain true to Him and His calling. We must continue presenting the truth of the Gospel in word and deed. The left will not make it easy for us, but the Lord will provide, He will strengthen, and He will empower those who are called according to His purposes and who endeavor to sacrifice all for Him. I hope that defines you. I hope and pray that defines me.

Eventually, God allowed Satan to begin again to direct the affairs of men – however slight – toward a unified global system of governance, as he had blatantly tried in Genesis 11, in order that the Scriptures might be fulfilled. Remember, Satan is being allowed and even used by God Himself to bring a unified world to fruition. That is key. However, it must never be forgotten that Satan is fully limited by God Himself and under His control.
Persecution’s Growing Dominance in the World
The one main organization in China that oversees religious groups and activities is called “State Administration for Religious Affairs (SARA).” This group has recently drawn up 26 new restrictions that they want applied to anyone who comes under the label Christian in China. Interestingly enough, the new set of drafted laws begins by clearly stating that all citizens of China are allowed to believe whatever they want to believe. However, restrictions apply as to how those beliefs can be exhibited publicly and even privately.
Can We Biblically Love People Enough?
Here are various Bible passages that define God’s definition of love. Please go there and take the time to read them, analyze them, contemplate them, and ask the Lord to help you live them. I will state very clearly that I know that I do not love enough (and certainly not perfectly!), and you probably don’t either. This doesn’t mean we ignore sin, but we’d better be spending more time noticing our own sin before we point fingers at others.
Who Has Control Over Your Life Anyway?
Unfortunately, too many Christians act as though this life now is the best we’ll ever see! Wonder where that thought came from? I’m convinced that when my time to die comes, I will simply die. I may die from a heart attack, a car accident, a stray bullet, or only God knows what, literally. But unlike Hezekiah who begged and tearfully pleaded with God that his life be extended (and it was granted; 2 Kings 20), my life will end at its preordained time and I do not need to know when that will be.

What about the worst case scenario? What if guns are to be eventually made illegal to own and collected throughout society? A precarious situation to be sure and one that will cause a great deal of problems in society, but in the end, if a law is passed that makes it illegal to own a gun, then Christians must obey the law. Do I agree with that law, if it should come to pass? No, I don’t. But we’ve been going over Romans 13 where it certainly seems clear enough that Paul commands us to submit ourselves to those who have authority over us. The only reason not to do that is when leaders forbids us from preaching the gospel (Acts 4). Peter could not obey this directive and didn’t. But this was the only situation where Peter believed he could disregard the “laws” of man.
Why Is Transgenderism Such a Big Issue Now?
Society is drastically changing. We cannot stop it, but we can continue to evangelize the lost. I see a day when persecution will be part of the daily experience for most Christians. It is something we don’t really see in America and when it comes, it will come with a fervor that is unexpected largely because so many think that our efforts will stem the tide. Christians today fail to understand that God allows and uses persecution to perfect His people because it is persecution that causes people to throw themselves on Him and remain close to Him more than anything else. Good times don’t do that. Relaxing atmospheres don’t bring that about. In fact, it’s clear that during those times, Christians become enamored with the world and even lazy about their faith.
