Mark Driscoll Crashes the Strange Fire Conference and Then Lies About What Happened

Because of the conference, Driscoll took it upon himself to literally crash the event. I know for a fact that there was a waiting list of at least 400 people to get into that conference. Due to the lack of space, many were denied and only the original 2,800 had seats for the conference. For Driscoll to simply crash the event is something that I don’t believe glorified Christ. Of course, he would likely argue that he did not believe the event itself brought glory to God so that gave him the right to crash it. He even tweeted to his followers that he would be there soon, as a heads up.

Does it Matter Who the “He” is in Daniel 9:27 as Far as the Tribulation is Concerned? Yes.

We then get into the “he” referenced in Daniel 9:27. Many people believe this “he” refers to Jesus Himself. Some even suggest that each incidence of “he” in this section of Scripture (verses 24 – 27) all refer to Jesus. If I understand the rules of grammar, I don’t see how that can be the case due mainly to the rule of the first antecedent.

The UN’s Earth Charter as the New Religion for the Globe

Interesting that “respect for nature” comes first, isn’t it? This is different than what God said to Adam and Eve and then to Noah. “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground,” (Genesis 1:28).

70 Weeks Means 490 Years and References the Tribulation Period of Matthew 24

This can only mean one thing. The “prince” here is the ruler of Rome who – along with his Roman soldiers – destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in AD 70. The same verse (26) tells us that the “end will come with a flood.” This most certainly has no reference to water, but to the flood of a military conquest. This is how this word is used when it is not directly referring to a body of water. It is a figure of speech. The end of Jerusalem came with a flood of army soldiers who destroyed Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple there.

Seven Years of God’s Wrath Coming We Call the Tribulation

So we know Daniel was thinking in terms of years. That is clear from the text and indisputable. When Gabriel arrives, he clarifies for Daniel that it is not seventy years, but in reality it will wind up being seventy sevens of years. Seventy sevens of years equal a total of 490 years (70 x 7). This is where the 490 years come from and provides the total number of prophetic years in which God has decreed for Israel and the Holy City. This then, is God’s timeframe; 490 years.

Everyone’s Talking About a Coming Collapse. Could It Happen?

Logic should tell us that things are not getting better, but they are in fact, getting worse. We have a government that is, for the most part, sold out to the Global Elite. Because of that, those who are puppets in DC are there to simply do the bidding of those who placed them there. There is no intention on their part to fix our economy. Their intention is to further destroy it because the Global Elite needs that to happen. This will create a greater dependence on the government, which will in turn, remove more of our freedoms.

Fixing Our Minds on the Things That Are Above, Not on the Earth

Because we have been raised with Christ, we are to cling to Him and continue seeking those things which are above. We are to “grow up” in Him. In order to do these things, we must – as John says in 1 John 3 – fix our minds on the fact that He is one day returning. This one fact will cause us to throw off those things that are worthless and focus on and do the things that are worthwhile (in God’s eyes).

Let’s Talk About the Coming Tribulation Over Several Posts, Shall We? All right…

The Tribulation is another area of controversy. Is there an area of Scripture that is not controversial, we might ask? The Tribulation is described as a period of time – seven years – in which God pours out His wrath onto this world and humanity. He does this for two reasons: 1) to purify Israel and gather to Himself the final Remnant of Jews, and 2) to judge the people of the world for how they have continued to reject Him as God and for how they have treated Israel, the apple of His eye.

Erotic Zoos: Bestiality in a Politically Correct Form…

One particular farmer noticed that his otherwise friendly sheep had begun to grow weary of him and other humans. This led him to hook up a security camera to see if he could find out what was creating the disturbance. His efforts revealed that “multiple men [were] sneaking in during the night to sexually abuse his beloved livestock.”

Deaf Conference: The Fall of America and the Emergence of the NWO

All of us talked about how things are going in the world and what the Bible seems to say on the subject. We also took the time to emphasize the fact that Christians need to be doing far more than just waiting and watching. We need to be working. This is something that is not emphasized enough.
